I live closeby to Anna's Secret Garden. When I finished my courses in Event Planning, I was looking for work. I had the expertise, experience and knowledge. I walked over to her flower shop and asked her if she was hiring and she said, "she can barely pay for her rent and bills". That was back in 2015. I really needed a job, but she turned me away. As far as I see, the business is still around and going strong!! Happy for Anna and the people who work for her!! They do flower arrangements for different occasions starting from birthdays, weddings, funerals, baptism, Valentines day, birth of a child, holiday parties and more.. They have exquisite talent and taste in making all of their bouquets and arrangements with care, love, and put a lot of detailed in the most unusual way that is possible. Very different than other flower shops that I have been to. They truly make your event a memorable one. Their beautiful, colorful flowers are always FRESH, CLASSY, & DECADENT!! Prices vary depending on what you want. I stopped by to order a nice bouquet arrangement for a friend who gave birth to a baby girl and asked for it to be delivered to the hospital. The timing was timeless, effortless. When I stoped by the hospital to see my friend's baby, saw the flowers next to her bed. Simply STUNNING looking with light, bright colors. I have also ordered flowers from them in the past, at least 3 more times and they truly do an EXCELLENT job and exceed mine and other people's expectations!! Anna's Secret Garden made two gorgeous over 6 foot trees for my courtyard several months ago. The trees are big, thick and look so real they actually fool the birds. They made them pretty quickly and the put them in their planters with lots of rocks on top so the wind wouldn't knock them over. They are beautiful and give me a lot of pleasure. Worst Flower Shop and the Owner is just as bad. My friend ordered me flowers from this shop and they were dead within two days. I buy flowers for myself all the time and I am usually able to keep my flowers alive and for at least two weeks. However, these flowers started decaying immediately. I called to inform the owner and she was very rude and said that it was my fault and that it was nothing that she could do about it. I felt so bad for my friend because he spent a lot for these flowers. When I told the owner that my friend spent too much money for those flowers to be dead with in two days, she said that he did not spend a lot. However, what may be nothing to her was a lot to him. The owner was very inconsiderate, rude, and those flowers she sold him did not belong in a vase, but the trash. You would be better off going to your local grocery store for flowers. ' read more

I called Anna's Secret Garden at 6:15pm to see if there was any way possible for them to have a box of 50 roses for me to pick up before 7pm and boy did they deliver! I live in Culver City so I had called about 15 florists before Anna's that was closer to my location and NONE could accommodate. Most said they needed at least 2 days notice for such a job and even then, they couldn't guarantee all the roses would be the same color. I placed the order over the phone at 6:15pm, drove to Anna's and they were ready by the time I got there. It was perfect and they were so friendly and accommodating, on top of the flowers being some of the most beautiful I've ever see . I called Anna's Secret Garden based on Yelp reviews and looking at their unique and creative collection on their website and instagram account. It was an interesting little journey. Let me take you through it step by step and know that at the end of the story sits one very satisfied customer. When I called I mentioned that I saw on the website many different arrangements but no prices or ways to order. Now, I understand that seasons and occasions change the prices regularly so I get why they wouldn't list prices. That said, it makes it difficult to know what exactly you are going to get. So anyway, I say hi my name is so and so and it is my girlfriend's birthday and she is turning 31. I'd like to get a very spring-oriented arrangement for her birthday. I'd like it to be fun but adult, i.e. no plastic rabbits or anything. She asked me what I would like to spend. So that's an...interesting way to start this. I mean you can go on 1-800-Flowers and select exactly what you want it to look like and how much it is going to be but this is more of an artist so starting out that way is a good road in. So I'm not going to go too cheap, so I say $100. I text them my address and give her my credit card number. They say they will text me a picture of what they come up with later that night. Well the next morning I still hadn't received anything so I texted the number asking if they were going to send me a pic. I receive a call and there is some confusion. A different woman calls and says it was a mixup. It's kind of hard to understand her through her accent (Russian, I'm assuming) but she says she'll text me what she has as soon as she gets in at work. A little while later I receive the following picture...(Pic 1). Yikes. Uh, this is huge and beautiful but man...aren't these wreathes more appropriate for a funeral? What kind of message does that send? Hey it's your birthday, one more notch in the inexorable march of time towards the grave. Congrats on your inevitable doom!! I call my sister and ask her what she thinks and as she's telling me absolutely no way, the florist calls again. It seems they have confused me with another customer and these aren't my flowers. Thank God. I'm relieved they had better tact than that. So now I wait on seeing what I DID get. I had to text later and say hey are you planning on sending that? I have two hours until delivery. I was a little perturbed because that's twice now that they said they would text a picture and I had to remind them. Very quickly I received a text with what my flowers look like. Now please understand, I'm looking at pictures on their website that look like this (Pic 2, $250) and expecting magic. I receive this (Pic 3) and immediately get a sinking feeling in my stomach. What is this? Something my grandmother would like, I suppose. Now an experienced florist may tell you that this is actually a beautiful collection of flowers and they would be right. Expensive, beautiful flowers. But I was expecting something extraordinary. At this point I'm extremely frustrated. I ask them to change the vase and they text me no problem, and send this. (Pic 4) Ugh. Okay well, that certainly is a different color of the same vase but not really what I'm looking for but whatever, I'm out of time. She texts me "good I'm happy you like it" and at this point, I lose my cool. As a word of warning, I know I'm going to sound like kind of a jerk here. But I was very disappointed and (never text angry!) angrily texted back "That's fine. If you are ready you can deliver it whenever, she's home now. Let me be clear though, I do NOT like it. I'm just out of time. When I see things like this on your website (Pic 2) I was hoping I could get a similarly unique arrangement that is creative and different. I feel like you put flowers in a vase. Perhaps I didn't spend enough? Perhaps I didn't give you enough time? Who can say. The flowers are beautiful but if I wanted beautiful flowers put in a vase I could have gone to Gelson's and done that myself." A bit harsh and probably naive. A lot more goes into it than that, I'm aware. At the same time I feel like for a hundred bucks I could get really great flowers put in a vase anywhere and I expected more from them. Here's where our story takes a turn. This florist could have easily said to herself "okay, jerk fine. Whatever." and delivered the flowers. I even told her to. But she didn't. She wanted me to be happy, for REAL. So in a matter of 20 minutes she whips THIS up. (Pic 4). Stunned silence. Um, wow. Now THAT is a unique, beautiful design beyond the every day. I...fell ashamed for getting mad. You indeed are a genius. She delivers it and my girlfriend swoons, texting me immediately. This thing looks amazing on our table, just in time for her parents to arrive in town. Classy, sophisticated, elegant. That is the way our living room looks at the moment. I could not be happier. I don't deserve a happy ending, but I got it. 5/5 read more
