Bought five pizzas. 4 of the 5 are burnt - and not a little burnt in a couple places. BURNT! The girl that answered the phone was very sympathetic and said she needed to talk to her manager about making 3 new pizzas. A few minutes go by and she calls me back to tell me she spoke with her manager and he said, "only the cheese should be burnt, the rest of the pizza should be fine" I told her it wasn't fine as I have 8 people to feed and less than 1/2 of the slices are edible. She said she'd go and talk with him again, and she'd call me back. 15 minutes go by, no call, so I called them. I am beyond shocked at the managers attitude as he refused to remake 3 pizzas because 'only the cheese is burnt, and the rest of the pizza is fine". I will NEVER buy from them again, and I'll make sure all of my friends that have college kids and family here, never order from them again. read more

Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Cool college atmosphere with a few televisions Beer, seltzers, and Jell-O shots available. Mac and cheese bites tasty and hot. Chicken Cesar wrap was big with good chicken flavor. Pizza sauce was bland at best. Will give it another go but not with the pizza. read more

I'm usually fine with this place, it's been a little hit or miss historically, but it was just remarkably bad this Friday night. My brother ordered a chicken sandwich that was listed under burgers on the website, and they seemed confused by the order and instead sent a chicken finger sub. I asked the person on the phone for an Italian with everything but hots and instead received an Italian with nothing but meat and oil. I'd give one star based off tonight alone but included the second because I've had good food here before. Let down by what I would otherwise call the best pizza place on UNH campus, and I doubt I'll be returning for a while. read more

I ordered delivery, and being two miles from UNH, you would be surprised about how many restaurants in the area will not deliver to my home. I ordered a regular cheese pizza-a slight bit on the greasy side, otherwise, no complaints. For a Sunday evening, the delivery was relatively fast and the driver that brought my pizza was friendly and kind enough to call before just knocking on the door. Went there with my family for lunch only ordered about 4 sandwiches. Cashier never said how long it would be but there was a lot of people so we assumed it would take around 30 minutes. Around 40 minutes in we walked in and asked how long until our food was ready and they just ignored us. We asked again and the cashier said it was going on the grill soon still not telling us how much longer. Then after asking for a third time they told us about five minutes.... It wasn't five minutes instead it took another 30 minutes before we got our food. The cooks were terribly rude the cashier seemed to be trying her best. At 35 wandered over to cashier and asked the status, she looks around can't find it and the cook says oh yeah we ran out of small dough. I've been frequenting this location for over 20 years. Last year, the restaurant was sold by an owner who had been running the place for over 10 years. Today, I placed my first order with the new management. I placed the order at 12:12 pm, with a promised delivery time of 12:38 pm. I arrived at 12:38 pm, and was told "it will be a bit more time". It took an additional 10 minutes. Another person was sitting with me waiting, and their order was also held up much longer than she expected. There was NO ONE ELSE IN THE RESTAURANT, and NO PHONES RINGING. This is the week before UNH classes start. If they can't deliver orders on time with very low demand and 4 people working in the place, they have little chance of delivering orders correctly and on time when it gets busy. Oh - I ordered my favorite - the Buffalo Chicken Calzone. The first 4 pieces I ate had NO CHICKEN IN THEM - that has never happened before. I'd say that the new owner has done nothing, but let the quality and service levels decline. It's a shame because the prior owner was really really good. read more

Ordered delivery gluten free pizza and they sent me regular so I called back for gluten free again and they asked for the old pizza back...delivery man said they were probably just gonna eat it back at the restaurant.... no apology or anything acknowledging their mistake or any regard for my gluten allergy except charging me extra for my small pizza ... manager was no help either. Greg and I have been dating a long time.. too long to count. For 4 of those years, we went to Wildcat pizza once a week. My friends knew that we would go (most Friday's), and that most of the time we didn't invite anyone along.. sometimes Gav or Jack. We always ordered a pizza, garlic bread, and cihcken fingers.. and split it. We loved it. Thankfully, we liked the same foods. The atmosphere is your classic "college" pizza place, with casual booths, tvs... it's a relaxing environment. We loved wildcat pizza, and I love my memories from it. I actually used to come here when I visited my brother and I was still in high school. Recently, I have been back since graduating, and I called 30 minutes ahead of arriving to Durham to make sure I could order my pizza. I was so excited... once eating it.. it was a major let down. It tasted like cardboard. It had no flavor. I am not sure if their recipe changed, or if I have just been exposed to more pizzas and am not in the college bubble anymore.. but it tainted my experience. I would say, in Durham, it is still one of the better pizza options, and the chicken fingers are delicious. read more

We went to Durham to visit UNH because my sister will be going to graduate school there in the fall (woo hoo!). Wildcat Pizza seemed like a good lunch option: my sister, her friend, and I ordered a large pizza with feta, spinach, and green pepper, while my mom ordered a stir-fry chicken sub. My mom and I both got iced tea, which was supposedly fresh brewed but was a pale pink color (seriously) and tasted like well water. Gross. We were the only ones in the restaurant for awhile until a party of seriously like fifteen people of all ages came and sat in the two long tables right next to us. They were boisterous, which was fine, but the kids (9-10 years old) kept saying really loudly, " I love Asians!" so that everyone could hear. It was bizarre--funny and yet so offensive. Awesome. I kind of wish we had moved to the other side of the restaurant. The food came, and the pizza was really good. The crust was very light but not spongy, and the edges weren't tough or too hard. The toppings were distributed perfectly, with a nice balance of the cheeses and veggies. My mom said that her sub was not greasy but a little tasteless. I think my sister has a pizza place to go to when she begins school in the fall. She just might want to get carryout, though. read more

Surviving in a town of college food requires an adjustment to expectation. WP has a broad menu that includes sandwiches and Greek-style pizza as well as salads. The online ordering allows fine customization. There's the rub. Most of the time the food meets the low criteria of passable college town standards but they are terribly inconsistent. The online menu does not agree with the real menu board. Items that are included in a dish go missing when you start try to change something else. Order something one time and the next time it is completely different. They're pretty good when they're on top of it. Not so much at other times. read more

Senior year if undergrad, my boyfriend and I lived off of wildcat. Honestly, their pizza is mediocre BUT their calzones are some of the best around. I recommend either the BBQ chicken with a side of ranch or the buffalo chicken with blue cheese. Had the pepperoni pizza today and it was top notch! I suggest asking for a side of their creamy feta to dip it in you wont regret it. Staff was very nice and welcoming. You can tell the crust is homemade and they use fresh ingredients. I'll definitely be back at least once a week! read more

I ordered delivery last week. It was not only 15 min late but it wasn't hot. The pizza itself was cheese and Hawaiian. The ham wasn't plentiful and the pineapple tasted stale. The dough was like rubber and stale and it reminded me of microwave Elios. Sorry for the harsh review by perhaps the owners can up the ante in town. DHOP gets my vote for best pizza in town.
