My husband is from Portsmouth (but moved to NJ 5ish years ago) and we struggle to find good pizza up north. We recently tried delivery from Otto and were not disappointed. The delivery service was fast and friendly. We ordered a pie with pepperoni, goat cheese, and hot honey. The honey and pepperoni combo was AMAZING. I don't normally like goat cheese but it paired so well with the rest of the pie. I will definitely be returning and re-ordering from here. Tried pizza from Otto yesterday when some coworkers ordered delivery and generously shared a slice with me, and I was impressed enough that I will definitely be placing an order of my own sometime in the future when I'm in the area and have a bit of leisure time. Tried this place out and LOVE IT! The call taker was awesome and very attentive. As for the main act the pizza was great and def worth it. Although I wish they had actual meatball rather than crumbled hamburger. Its def on the more expensive side for pizza but def going back soon for another round. read more

We love the pizza from Otto and this was our first visit to the Portsmouth location. Sadly, service is lacking here, and I would say reserve this location for take out only. It's unfortunate as the dining room looks nice (but is very dirty with food on the floor, and not cleaned after people leave). We dined early and while there were plenty of servers, and only a handful of tables seated, service was slow. It was unclear who our server would be. We observed another table getting up and hunting their server down to pay the check. Perhaps there is no manager at this location. We ordered a Cobb salad and a large cheese pizza, old school style. The salad took a very very long time to come, and then the pizza followed just a minute or so later. The salad was good, generous portion and the pizza was delicious as I hoped it would be. Again, we love the pizza but I'm not sure I would return to this location unless a takeout order. Their dough is phenomenal! And we really loved the inside of the restaurant and the patio area- the ambiance is great. Service was pretty slow even though we came during off hours and it was not busy- and though we ordered my 6 year olds soda first they forgot to bring it until we asked again after her food came. The flavors of the pizza sounded unique but were missing that je ne said quois... I got the chicken, caramelized pear and fontina and thought it was a little bland; my fiancé said the same about his pulled pork and mango pizza. Drinks were pretty good. Might be my favorite pizza place in NH. Only reason for 4 stars is the service is just a bit iffy. People seating you acted like we were bothering them and the first time we went order was messed up and it was blamed on us... Pizza is great. The pineapple combo was absolutely incredible. Such a unique blend of sweet and savory. Will definitely get this again. Crust was exactly how I liked it. Held up under the items and nice chewy edges. Caesar salad was really good. A lot of dressing with good flavor and they had a nice twist on the croutons of just toasting sliced bread and it doesn't get soggy in the Caesar dressing. I ordered a plain pizza at 12:40 for pickup and was told it would be ready at 1:00. I showed up at 1:00 promptly, paid and then waited and waited. After 10 min I tracked down the associate who I paid and asked her how long. She said she didn't know, after she had told me twice it would only be a few more minutes. I then turned to the chef and asked if it was even in the oven and she said it had just gone in. I asked for a refund which required her to find the manager. Taking over from the old Cornerstone Otto has opened in the West End. A welcome addition. Nothing physically changed from cornerstone. Still a nice looking restaurant with plenty of room. Suggest upstairs bar for best ambiance. Food is very good. A large Greek salad was amazing. Dressing was perfect. Then split a small pizza. Very well prepared. I recommend a visit. Love me some BOUJEE pizza. Otto stands out in comparison to the other pizza spots in the area due to the variety of ingredients and speciality pizza. I have gotten take out from here on multiple times and it has never failed. The cheese bread with marinara is phenomenal, good size but not massive. Dinner started out good with attentive bartenders but there was a mistake in my pizza order which was kindly caught by the bartender. Twenty-five minutes later learned that the cooks had placed my order in the back of the Q. I then asked for my pizza to go and when tried at home found the crust to be soft and ingredients (pineapple, bacon) to be tasteless. I had been told by friends and neighbors to make sure I ordered extra crispy but forgot their suggestions. Salads were great but when we settled up realized our leftovers were not included. I had heard nothing but good things about the latest Otto, practically in my backyard. Decide to try two pies: the seasonal special and an old standard order. Ordered (online for takeout) "seasonal" small Asparagus/prosciutto/pesto (sans tomato sauce). Asparagus is difficult to eat on a pizza, but the combo worked, and a fine foil against our other choice. The large Pepperoni (we added green peppers) was loaded. I have never seen so much meat on a pizza! A little greasy on the thin crust (delish!), but totally a function of all the pepperoni. I'm pretty sure other menu choices would not be. Definitely will order again, and visit in person. read more
