Used to be great. Moved Vicki, the good manager to the other wild wing out west because they weren't good. Now this one is very disappointing. The draft beer system has been down for a week. Jar head looking bartender too busy watching the race to serve, or even pay attention to customers. His "little buddy" has the Same attitude.. Just not as fun as it was. This is NOT the wild wings I'm use to, my mom and I came up here since the one in Farragut closed. My mom ALWAYS gets the ragging Cajun wing flavor, the Cajun at the Farragut one is a dry rub the one here is a sauce, and honestly it tastes like grease, and the skin is not crispy. We also got the buffalo chicken dip, nothing to write home about, just Frank's Red Hot sauce. The waitress was sporadic at best, no clue if it was just the time we went( 11:30 EST) When my mom asked her about the ragging Cajun, and why it looked like that she just said " that's the way it comes". She didn't offer my mom another sauce or anything, and as far as atmosphere goes, this location seems like a knockoff compared to the one in Farragut. Just be aware that this place isn't necessarily bAd, it's just not what I'm use to when I go to wild wings. Ps: on a side not the waitstaff have no clue what's going on! After my less than spectacular time at Aubrey's, I moved down the road a couple blocks. Hey, the friendly staff was quick to wait on me and explain the menu items. The "Chicken Feathers" worked well for me. They have a choice of 33 different sauces and I found their honey mustard to be spicy and good. I've visited three different Wild Wing Cafe locations, and never have I had a quality experience. Tonight, at this Powell location, our experience was no different. The best part of dinner was that our server was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, our group of 7 was served our food in separate increments. Some people at our table got their food 10mins before others. Absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, one order was incorrect. Also, the runners who brought out the food (not our server) were not friendly in the slightest. Yikes. It's really unfortunate that the kitchen/runners couldn't figure out how to efficiently serve their customers, as I'm sure this will often appear to reflect on the servers. I will never understand why I keep coming to this place. Maybe I'll learn after this third strike. read more

Over rated: Quality of food isn't great. My wife ordered a burger and it came out burnt and charred. Friday night and told 45 minute wait for 2 people! For a Friday night they have poor staff planning at 7pm to ensure all tables are filled. I counted over 10 empty tables for over 30 minutes. I love the atmosphere and the TVs available to watch sports. We sat at the bar as we waited but it still took a while as many people chose the bar to eat because of the wait time. Food is good and lots of wing options. My only complaint is staffing scheduling to accommodate busy dinner times. read more

So good!!!! Went to eat with family to celebrate my birthday! First visit, definitely not the last. We started with spinach dip. Hands down the best spinach dip I've ever eaten! I ordered the Buffarella wrap(sp?). It was delicious and very filling. I love that the side dishes are called Exciting Extras. Sounds so much more enticing than just a side dish! Our service was good. They were super busy, as always, but the staff worked as a team to get everything we needed quickly! I will definitely make a return visit to try more items on the menu. Does not have servers to support regular service. Puts large parties (30+) in the order they sign up despite the restaurant not being able to support regular parties. Large parties should be able to call ahead to accommodate this. Even when there are not large parties, hosts and hostesses are oblivious to an empty rom and confused where to sit people. I have worked in restaurants for a large chick of my younger years and it is poor management and poor training. read more

They were semi busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Our waitress Faith was wonderful, the bus person though....not so much. We had 5 people at our table on a very busy night- we were there for several hours eating, drinking and enjoying the entertainment. We expect some delays when you are super busy, this was not a delay though, it was a job never done. There were empty plates on our table for hours. We saw an empty table and rushed to move the dirty dishes to that table- we knew the empty table would be bussed quickly. Our own table couldn't take any thing else. Empty buckets of beer and drink glasses littered our small square table to the point we had little room for much else. The buckets and glasses were left for our entire stay. We gathered all the dirty dishes and such, piled them together as best we could for easier pickup- again, several hours and nothing was removed.
