The China Berry trees were starting to move over into the neighbor's yard and encroaching on their roof. I didn't want to be responsible for any wind damages. The front juniper trees were hiding too much of the house and getting too tall. None of the trees presented a hazard so I wanted to get ahead of the growth and keep them healthy. The estimate was very reasonable. Still, more importantly, the crew themselves were exceptional. Arriving 20 minutes early to group and organize they started work promptly at the promised appointment time of 7 am. There were a total of 6 trees to trim and shape with a crew of three men. They conferred with me before, during and after to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted and what was promised. Entire job was completed in 45 minutes! I've attached some before and after photos. Next week I have a landscaper coming to clean up the yard so please ignore the weeds. I had this bright idea I would experiment and see if the weeds would grow in like a meadow. As a new homeowner in Tucson originally from New England I was not prepared for weeds that bite back. No more experiments with landscaping. I wanted a tree expert to handle the pruning because I wanted to ensure expertise. This company knows trees and I felt a level of comfort having this particular team on my property. Hard workers, professional and efficient.

Though not the lowest price they gave us the confidence they knew what they were doing and wouldn't just aimlessly cut branches, instead they considered the health of the trees and how to thin them while still providing shade coverage. Josh and Lacy also gave us tips on maintaining them and other plants in our yard. This time, we had just bought a new home and there was a large tree in the side yard that we wanted to take out as it was to close to the house and the wall, besides looking like it was dying. Their quote was inline with others, and we already knew the quality of their work so it was a no brainer in selecting them again. In both cases, they cleaned up so well, we feel the yard was probably cleaner than when they started. We have no problem recommending them not just for the work they do but for their advice as well.

Instead of going back out to fix the problem, Juan decided to charge us $50 to stake the tree down. We agreed to this as we didn't want the tree to fail. His team went out to do the work and used a cheap wooden stake and didn't bother to trim the tree. With all the recent storms, any landscaper would know to be proactive. Within a day, the wooden stake broke and completely failed. Again, instead of going back out and fixing their failure, they refused to go back out to our home unless we paid more. They blamed the storm and the tree instead of their negligence. If the tree was trimmed properly, it wouldn't have failed. Mind you, we pay monthly for landscaping service and trust the work will be done. Juan clearly has no integrity. Whoever he uses to field messages and phone calls is extremely unprofessional as wI'm so disappointed with the way Juan and his team treated us after using them consistently for 2 years now. If he had any integrity, he would've trimmed the tree correctly the first time. And he would've fixed the issue with the wooden stake instead of leaving a broken piece of wood in the yard where there's small children.
