    Spinach salad with chicken
    Refugio L.

We were in the area and someone in our group decided we should try this place, but had never been to this location. Felt way underdressed for how formal it looked inside. The menu had a lot of interesting choices between salad, soup, duck, steak, shrimp, chicken and fish. But we decided to stay and give it a try. The side of chicken on the spinach was plain. But father in law just mixed in with dressing and no complaint. Vietnamese salad was dry, but the egg or spring rolls with sauce on side were ridiculously good. Sesame chicken was pretty good as well. In fact we ordered two. No complaints at all there except you could almost feed two people with one plate. BBQ ribs were amazingly tender and meat fell off bone. Was almost able to eat all with fork alone. Another plate where potentially could share. I would've never honestly tried this place without recommendation but glad I did. Food came out pretty quickly and was better than I expected.

I wish I could give a 3 1/2. For presentation I'd give a 5. They certainly provide visually stunning food. But when it comes to food, taste is everything. The salmon duo didn't go well together. A pesto salmon with a teriyaki salmon just wasn't great. I preferred the pesto version and would have been happy with that with the potatoes and vegetables. The chocolate cake, though gorgeous, was grainy and not tasty. The tiramisu is beautiful, but not really tiramisu. The appetizers were not plentiful enough for sharing. Take a hard pass on the eggplant appetizer as it truly should be labeled a tomato appetizer because the tomato overwhelms. For a party of 10 they would not let us pay by couple (5 checks) but they let us pay by splitting the bill in half. With large parties expect a 20% gratuity and a surcharge. Not sure what the surcharge was for. Service was slow. It took nearly 3 hours to complete dinner. Attractive food, not so attractive taste.

I ordered a steak and the calamari appetizer. The food was not worth the price. The service however was good

My 4th time at this location and nothing changes as far as the menu. This can be good or bad as restaurant is sticking to their regular menu that has not changed since they opened. There was 7 of us so we were able to try few dishes, some were good, some were so-so and some were average. For appetizers, we had chicken pot-stickers (average), goat cheese ravioli (really good, highly recommend) and crab cake (didn't try them personally but person that had them said they were good). For main course, we went with butter lettuce salad (it was good but kitchen refused to accommodate a little change request which we found weird, we simply asked for grilled cauliflower instead of tempura and they said no), grilled strip steak (it was no better, not worse than any other strip steaks we had), grilled beef tenderloin (my son ordered that and he did not like it at all), barramundi (very good) and duck breast (very good). For dessert, we went with Crème brûlée (a typical but was served on a cold side, which we found weird, its usually served warm) and their chocolate cake (average). Since we had a birthday, a restaurant provided an ice cream with a candle. Our server (Miranda) was really good, but you can tell that kitchen is short staffed or had their timing way off. Our main courses were coming one or two at a time. It was weird having one or 2 people eat main course and the other 4-5 wait and then they would bring one out and rest of the people had to wait. This is a type of place (and experience) where you will go if you are invited but I won't go just to go. Prices are above average, service is good but not sure if the price is worth the experience

We came here with a really big group for a rehearsal dinner (30-40 people). I'm not sure what's on the normal menu but we had a specific selection for our event and we could also order anything off the drink menu. I tried the Shanghai Noon (lychee cocktail drink) and the Asian pear (another cocktail drink). The Shanghai Noon was really strong in terms of alcohol concentration (almost like straight flavored vodka with a syrup) but also pretty sweet at the same time). I liked the Asian pear better, it was still sweet and you could taste the alcohol but it didn't taste too strong. They had really tasty fresh warm bread rolls (slightly sweet, kind of like Hawaiian rolls but more buttery and fluffy). Our menu had a set appetizer trio: potsticker, lobster bisque and salad. The entree was choice of surf and turf (steak and shrimp), salmon duo (chimichurri and teriyaki) or chicken trio (chicken cheesecake??, fried chicken and another chicken I forget). And we all had a creme brûlée as dessert. The appetizer trio came in a kind of tray with three deep squares. The lobster bisque was really delicious, maybe because we were all so hungry waiting for the food to finally come, but everyone like that. The salad was salad. The potsticker could've been Ling Ling's or some other generic frozen potsticker, but it was fine and i was hungry. It came with an olive oil sauce and one slice of cucumber. We got the bread after the appetizers and tried to ask for more but the second round of bread never got to our table. I had the surf and turf entree and also tried some of the salmon. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out more rare than medium rare but I actually liked that. The shrimp was battered fried shrimp, I wish there was a sauce for it, it was served on some mashed potatoes. It also came with like a Chinese style sautéed green beans with onions and some red bell pepper strips. The chimichurri sauce salmon was really tasty, with a creamy curry sauce (also on mashed potatoes). The teriyaki salmon came in a strange rolled circular shape, also on top of mashed potatoes, not as tasty as the chimichurri salmon. It came with some Asian style mixed veggies which were as expected. The creme brûlées were nicely done. Pretty much what you would expect from a creme brûlée, delicious, slight burnt sugar layer on top, some fresh fruit, not too sweet. Overall the food was pretty good, great serving sizes, and service was decent considering our enormous party size for a restaurant like this.

nicely put together and very flavorful. Asked for the herb dressing on the side as I wasn't sure it would be heavy or light. Dressing is on the light side !! Waitstaff very attentive. Sitting outside to enjoy the warmth of July!!

We returned for dinner this time and we're really glad we did. If you head to Lee Rd in Cleveland Hts you will find several very good establishments south of Cedar Rd. But if you go a few blocks north of Cedar you will come upon a cute little stainless steel diner right out of the 1950's. You have arrived at "Abundance Culinary". Modern Chinese concept curated by Executive Chef Liu Fang. Upon entering we were greeted by a very kind and professional gentleman who immediately seated us at a comfortable table in the center of the restaurant where we were quickly greeted by Nathaniel, a marvelous young man with a ready smile and quick whit. He introduced himself, filled our water and introduced their sommelier. A pleasant woman with a friendly demeanor. She explained the evenings offerings without appearing condescending. Her suggestions were spot on. The staff worked together all evening like a fine tuned machine. At any moment someone would suddenly appear at our table to satisfy our every desire. Our meal started with the "Dumplings Variety Sampler" which gave us 2 of each of the available 4 different dumplings. They were an excellent start... flavorful, with just a touch of spice yet not too filling. I followed that with the "Lamb Shank" perfectly prepared and loaded with flavors. My wife & brother had the "Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef" which they said was excellent. My sister in law had the "Dan Dan Noodles" which was full of flavor but a little too spicy for her taste. We followed our meal with an excellent cup of coffee and the "Chinese Cobbler". It was a marvelous evening with exceptional service and wonderful food. We will definitely return and you should do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.

The restaurant had tons of character, dining is split across several rooms, which reduces noise. I'd make sure you have a reservation and arrive early. Parking is tough. Our food was great, the Asiago bread was a bit of a stretch, felt like its grocery dinner rolls sprinkled with cheese then toasted. Desert was awesome, maybe share it, unless you love your sweets. Wife got the crème brûlée and I got the bread pudding (maybe more ice cream). We weren't able to finish them, but it was so good. Everything was great quality and super tasty. I don't think you can go wrong ordering anything (other than the Asiago bread ). Enjoy!

Cement floors, uncomfy metal chairs and a cold room. Waitress was nice and attentive. Pad Thai and seaweed salads ordered. And tea , it was cold. Barely any seaweed and a bunch of lettuce. Tasty but small. Very small. The pad Thai was a very very large dish with a very small portion. Either lower the price or make the meals a tad bigger. Both times my experience was pretty wonderful. Came here for dinner on Mother's Day because Lao Szechuan was a 45-min wait. Welp, my 7-yr old's simple sushi order took 45min to get so on second thought, we definitely should've just waited! My BF ordered a coconut Thai soup and it was $9 for a half filled tiny bowl with only a few pieces of mushroom and bits of tofu. He liked it but was put off by the tiny amount, lack of veggies and high price. I ordered the Dragon noodle which came with the chef's recommendation. The amount of noodles in the bowl was a joke. And they took the cheap route by using rice noodles instead of wheat, egg or anything else. The spare ribs were a bit overcooked and dry but at least not bland. I wouldn't pair it with broccoli--bak choy, mushrooms, woodear, bamboo would've been so much better. And Asian. The worst part about the visit is that our server never updated us on where the sushi went. I had to ask a different server who told us the sushi orders were lost. Okay...still no apology or acknowledgement of where the dish went after ordering it 40+ min ago. When it finally came, the other server brought it out and our server said nothing about it. My poor daughter was so hungry and watching us eat our dishes. I gave her a big portion of my meal so she could enjoy dinner as well. The place cleared out and emptied completely as we were still trying to enjoy the sushi that just came out. No apology, no offers of comped meal or discount...I even had to ask for chopsticks and water refills and the check and a takeout container. The value is just nil here and the quality has gone down since first visiting here in 2022. Service is bad and their shades don't even go down so the sun was obnoxiously in our face the entire time. Skip Pinecrest and go to Asiatown for a more authentic and better priced experience!

First of all, the place is beautiful. You will want to stand and stare a minute when you first arrive, from the cherry blossoms overhead to the gorgeous art painted on the walls. We were welcomed immediately and seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and efficient, again this was no small task with a bit group at a very busy time. She made great recommendations and we started with several appetizers for the table: Crab rangoon Mozzarella stick, Goyza, and crunchy rice with avocado. They were all good and cooked to perfection, but the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella sticks were show stoppers. This is fun fusion at its finest, and everyone agreed we could have just lived on those. We had to put in sushi orders early as there was a bit of a backup with the kitchen, but our server did a great job of keeping us informed about the timing and made all the entrees work out so people getting hot dishes got them at the same time as people who ordered cold dishes. I had the sora roll which is another great fashion dish with a simple tempura shrimp and avocado roll upscaled by adding thin slices of wagyu beef, spicy mayo and dark sweet soy. I loved the combo. My wife had the peking duck and said it was fantastic with a good bit of flavor and a hint of kick, cooked to perfection so it didn't get dry. My son had the mushroom risotto which he said was very flavorful, and carried a bit of asian spiciness. Other people at the table had sushi, the katsu chicken, and the crab fried rice. No one was disappointed! Finally my wife and I split the smoked creme brûlée and all I can say is, you should save room for dessert because this was a fantastic spin on a classic! The only thing I would note is that it's not a quiet restaurant. Do not expect to have a hushed or private conversation here, but even with the big group I could still hear everyone, so it's not like it's ear splitting or anything. Honestly, every part of this experience impressed me and I would love to go back next time I'm in town.
