Came here with family recently and had a good experience. It wasn't busy so we were seated immediately but the food still took a while to come. The service was friendly and attentive though, no complaints. The inside was a little outdated for the most famous food street in CLE, but still clean and comfortable. The Vietnamese crepe was decent, tons of bean sprouts inside. I got the chicken vermicelli and it was delicious! Big portion size. Same with the spicy lemongrass soup, very tasty, warm, filling, big portions. Would recommend the soup to anyone. Prices were reasonable. Overall: good Vietnamese spot on busy 4th ave with reasonable prices, big serving sizes, and good food.

Double order Tofu appetizer. Delicious!

Another delicious team lunch. The staff does everything right. From the welcome to memorizing orders for a table of 7 and getting it turned out in record time, they are always friendly. Clean and good lighting.

Delicious dined in tonight 12/31! What a meal to end 2025! The service was amazing as usual!

Busy but calm, we were seated immediately and received some of the fastest table service I've ever seen. The space is medium-sized but feels spacious because of its layout. The food was absolutely amazing, with authentic flavor and appealing presentation. I think I found another fave!

I was in downtown Cleveland for a conference, found this place because I was looking for an asian food restaurant. I was so surprised and amazed by how good their food is, I didn't have a very high expectation because I have had really good Vietnamese food. But omg this place blew me away, especially their Bún bò Huế(spicy lemongrass soup) and pork egg roll, very nice and original. Not to mention they have really good service too! Highly recommend if you are looking for a good Asian food restaurant in downtown Cleveland.

I had the H1, chicken soup which was actually Pho but maybe they called it chicken soup because Americans can't pronounce Pho right ;-) The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I definitely plan on checking this place out again next time in the in the Cleveland Ohio area. The staff was excellent.

The beef was underwhelming in portion and disappointing flavor . Maybe they do other dishes better.

Kind, quick service with healthy choices. I had lemongrass stir fry. Delicious change from pizza and fried foods.

This was quite the first meal to get in Ohio, coming from California. Landing in Ohio, I was craving some food that I'm used to, so I went to find the closest Vietnamese restaurant. Luckily, we were able to get seated right away, and had our orders taken quickly. We ordered the egg rolls, combo pho, and bun thit nuong (vermicelli). The prices were similar to California, but unfortunately, the portioning was really quite small. The egg rolls came with only 2 ??? I had to stop my mouth from opening in shock when they first brought it out. The taste was good though, but definitely not worth to get at that price point. The pho was a bit bland. The bun thit nuong was standard, except for the sizing. It also took them a long time to get me another cup of nuoc mam. I enjoyed sitting outdoors, where the street was busy with people. The weather was great, though there is also indoor seating for those that prefer that! Not sure what the interior is like, but the outdoor seating was lovely. Service was not bad, but I don't think I'll be back just because of the lack of value for the price.

B1. Crispy Pork Rolls Bun

The FOOD is is good but not great. I like to grab few appetizers and few main dishes to share and that's what we got. Crispy spring rolls and summer rolls were ok. Charbroiled a primo Bun was lacking flavor. Beef Bun Xao had good smoky flavor and it was my favorite Service was good but they do add 20% gratitude to the bill without any notice. I am not saying that it's too much for great service. But 20% mandatory tip for mediocre service is too much. Our server brought us two rounds of beers, few dishes of food and never made it back to check up on our table. So in my opinion tacking on 20% is RIDICULOUS.

Lemongrass soup
Mag T.

Food is lacking. Best thing here was the Vietnamese iced coffee. It didn't not come out traditionally with the silver slow drip piece, but already made and mixed. As another yelper mentioned spring rolls were hard to chew and the sauce was soooo runny. I ordered the lemongrass soup and most of the beef pieces were so fatty. Overall will not be back.

Unlike most other cuisines, with which I am extremely adventurous and not only willing, but look forward to trying new things and experimenting. I am a bit timid with Asian cuisine. I find it a bit challenging to navigate their typically extensive menus. Based on a recommendation from a foodie I hold in high regard, we went to "Han Chinese Kabob & Grill" last night. I was informed it is a small establishment so we called for reservations. We were told they do not take them and to be assured of a table we should arrive early. So we showed up before 6pm to a basically empty restaurant. We were seated quickly by a pleasant young woman that spoke no English at all. When we ask a question she went off right away to find our server for help. Within the next 15 minutes the dining room went from empty to full like someone had thrown a switch. It remained that way the entire time we were there. Very soon a wonderful young woman arrived at our table. She provided water, answered several questions, and took our orders. She was very pleasant and professional. I ordered an excellent brown sugar milk tea along with a great cucumber salad and marvelous lamb chops. Some of the meatiest chops I have ever had. Just about everything is available with any level of heat you desire. I am typically very reserved when it comes to spicy foods. I find it hides the true flavors of the ingredients so I always order with no heat. My entire meal was prepared perfectly. My wife and our guests felt the same way about their selections. There was plenty of food to take home for another meal. Our final surprise was when we received our bill and discovered how affordable it was to eat so well. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely return.

I have been coming to this restaurant in many variations, owners and names, but it still remains consistently delicious and authentic. The decor is so moms, non existent really, there are menu pictures on the wall, Payne Avenue is always under construction or lacking enough storefronts but I will always come home to eat. The egg drop soup, I know it's simple, but it's full of yolk and large pieces of egg, especially if you hit it with white pepper for an extra punch. The beef with spicy green beans are full of flavor, tender and the best I town. The pan fried noodles, tonight we ordered 2 different variations, veggie full of s variety of mushrooms and the seafood full of Chinese broccoli l, shrimp, scallops and garlic, the perfect consistency of crunchy with a little bit of saucy noodles. A visit is never complete without dim sum, shrimp rice roll will always be my all time favorite. I never remember to take pictures, we are too busy laughing and eating to have our phones out.

Rare beef noodle soup: (3/5) This dish came with sliced rare beef, onions, bean sprouts, noodles, veggies, and a few other things. The soup was kind of bland and the beef portions were kind of small. The noodles were also average. Spicy fish dish: (5/5) It was indeed spicy and the fish and vegetables were delicious. Seeing beef throat and intestines mentioned was a cue this place was legit. And it was. Tried a bunch of different things. Fried string beans (green beans) were fire. Garlic dumplings were steamed, which I love. Garlic chicken was good although I prefer larger pieces of chicken (they come in small bits). No negative though, just my personal pref. Even the white rice was special. You can tell when rice has been sitting for a long time, and this was not. It was cooked perfectly, was a little sticky and moist. The only downside is that door dash has me select 2 crab Rangoon or 1 egg roll to go with it, and the rangoons didn't come along with my order. That could have been user error. I would definitely come back if ever visiting Cleveland again.

It was around 10pm on a Sunday and I hadn't eaten since lunchtime. I was back in my hometown of CLE for work, so I figured why not try out a spot from my old stomping grounds on the west side. General Tso's was piping hot (I always get mine super spicy) and was quite flavorful, especially with their homemade sauce. The egg roll was straight up massive and one of the biggest that I've been given in years. All in all, if you're looking for gourmet food and candlelit tables, this ain't the spot. Laughable. Absolutely laughable…read more I genuinely cannot remember the last time I had to try this hard to GIVE a business my money. My friend and I stood at the front of this establishment on a Saturday night, staring at a glowing OPEN sign, practically begging for someone to acknowledge our existence so we could place an order. Apparently, that was too much to ask. There appeared to be one person working (I think?), who somehow managed to completely ignore both the front of the business AND the ringing phone. No greeting, no acknowledgment, no explanation. Nothing. Just two potential paying customers standing around like idiots, wondering if we had accidentally walked into an abandoned building. Here's the truly astonishing part: We actually WANTED to support this small business. We went out of our way to give them our money, and they seemingly went out of their way to make sure that didn't happen. I've seen businesses struggle to attract customers, but this might be the first I've encountered that actively seems to avoid them. If you're not interested in serving customers, turn off the OPEN sign. At least spare people the embarrassment of standing around waiting to spend money at a business that apparently couldn't care less. An absolutely embarrassing display of customer service. And the funniest part? We never even got far enough to order anything.
