After going to the original Wild Mango in North Olmsted for years, we decided to try the one in Legacy village. First, the place is immaculate and very classy. The service was attentive and impeccable, and the meal was delicious as expected. We had the Filet and Mushrooms (highly recommend!), but all their food is delicious (try the chicken cheesecake) from our experience. The menu is similar to the other location. I travel for business and hit most restaurants in Cleveland, and Wild Mango is at the top for consistency, value and selection. Hands down our "go to" restaurant! read more

The new place looks nice, however the service is awful. I waited over 15mins to get my drink which is ridiculous! The food seemed to be priced reasonably until it came. The menu sucks, options were limited. They did a great job cleaning the table, by that I mean they threw everything on the chair where I was sitting. At least the table wasn't dirty‍. Difficult review to write. While the restaurant had very good food, we sat in the bar. There is a big issue with the service at the bar. It's not that the bartender was not good, however there was only one bartender for the entire bar as well as the entire restaurant. She was unable to even acknowledge people after they walked into the bar. This place could be fantastic if they would understand how to do better service in the bar which inevitably overflows into the restaurant as well. Let me start off with saying I typically LOVE this place.. however. 10/6/21 made reservations to take my aunt to lunch. Showed up on time and was greeted by "Tom" as host. His demeanor was horrible- a bit confrontational with my aunt in particular. He took us in to a room we've eaten in before- but despite the fact there were minimally 15 other tables to seat us at- he seats us in the back corner where our view was the servers bar. GREAT! Sat there for 3 minutes and asked to be moved to a window seat since several were available... his personality sucked. He has no business being the front person of ANY dining establishment. If my aunt and I hadn't been to this place before and spoken to the owner many, many times..and had wonderful experiences before... this could've been our last visit since this guy was such a poor example of the whole ambiance of this place. As usual the food was stellar... but this guy should be off the floor and have ZERO contact with the paying public.... if it were my establishment... he'd be out of job. read more

My husband and I went for our anniversary and we were immediately blown away by the decor. The greeter was very pleasant. As was our waiter, who was very personable and engaged in laid back conversation. We felt like we were her only table. The food was just okay. The presentation was beautiful. I'd say this is moreso a place to go to for overall experience rather than the food. read more

This use to be my favorite restaurant. How do you run out of food at 2 PM in the day? So many other wonderful restaurants around. I don't think I will give another chance. This was my second visit to Wild Mango. But first one to the new location at Legacy Village. I absolutely loved everything about this experience. From the great customer service when you first arrive to the fancy doggie bag on departure. The food was good. My bill was very reasonable, and the free soup of the day was excellent. The servers were Johnny on the spot. I mean literally the best experience at a restaurant in a long time. The chairs were even nice and soft. I think this has become my new favorite spot. read more

The food at Wild Mango's Legacy Village location is superb. The calamari appetizer was crispy with a nice drizzle of sweet glaze. The diced mango adds a touch of sweetness to the wedge. The bouillabaisse is loaded with seafood and the noodles and curry flavor add an Asian flair. The servings are huge and the ambiance is lovely. That being said, the service was horrendous. We weren't served water until at least 20 minutes after we were seated (we had to ask). Our water glasses were only refilled when we begged. We asked for bread as we were starving and we couldn't place our order because our server was nowhere to be found. We were told that bread would not be served until after we ordered. We barely saw our server and every course took forever to arrive. We were there for over 2 hrs with no cocktails ordered. There were only 2 of us and our intent was not to dine slowly. While I am very understanding with COVID, this place was obviously understaffed, this place was extremely not prairies to serve our party. The drinks took forever to come out and our meals were received at different times which allowed others to eat while the rest of us were still waiting. I received my food once everyone was completely done with their meal and after asking several times regarding the status it. Another person in my party ordered a salad and the lettuce was noticeably brown. That salad should have never made it to our table for the price that that this place is charging for meals. The owner took a very long time to come out after I requested to speak to him and did remove the meal off of my bill. However, while my part was noticeably frustrated, the waitress Kasse was missing in action for most of the time and clearly walked away frustrated when one of the ladies asked her a question. Needless to say, she never returned to our table. This place is not worth it. I have been to better places with better food and service. read more

Took my daughter there for her birthday had a group of 10 on 7/5/19. The place was nice. Room we were in was nice and cozy. And the food was good. But our waitress was not that great! She took all of our orders and numbered them so we could have separate checks but when the bill came everyone was all on one bill. Then she got upset and said we didn't tell her in the beginning. Ok , it's a reason why she numbered who had what, so to say we didn't tell her and to have an attitude. Our reservation was at 630pm we didn't get our entrées until almost 9pm. On top of that she never apologized for how slow things were going. But we tried to be understanding because it was busy. She never came to see how any of our meals were or appetizers. When she did come back she just started asking us to box up our meals. My daughters steak order was put in wrong so had to wait for another steak. My sister tried expressing she didn't care for her stuffed chicken, the waitress just ignored and still asked if she wanted a box or not. Instead of apologizing and taking something off her bill or giving a free desert to make up for it. Then she tried to accuse one of us of not paying, everyone gave their cash or credit card, one person from our party gave her cash as the tip and told her to put her bill on her cc. Well she came back and just gives her the cc with nothing to sign, and we are confused at this point. So eventually she comes back in the room we had and says to her did you ever pay? How rude and insulting. We had spent a little over $300 together as a whole. And we still tipped her individually according to what's supposed to be tipped, because we know this is how someone in this business makes their money despite the fact she shouldn't have received but 5 dollars maybe from each of us. read more

We have eaten here several times, and are very impressed by the exquisite and creative ambience and food. This was always one of our favorite restaurants on the west side, so we were excited to try their new location much closer to us. Both the steaks (NY strip and filet) were outstanding and a good value compared to nearby Capital Grill or Red, with fabulous mushrooms and sweet potato fries, but we also loved the salmon and scallops and thought the wedge and Vietnamese salads were delicious and generous enough to share. Oh, and save room for the home made desserts, especially the 7 layer chocolate cake and tiramisu. While the service was a bit rocky to start, they have gotten their act together and it is now our favorite restaurant. Be sure to check out all 3 dining areas and the spectacular bar. I had lunch at the Legacy location and the food and decor were amazing so I took my husband there for dinner as he just retired. Although the staff is friendly the service is the worst I have encountered in a long time. Not one waiter knew which table the food was to be deliver to, so we were constantly asked if this was our dish. Dishes were never cleared before another dish was served. We waited 20 minutes to order a glass of wine and although we were told the desert selection no one came back to ask us if we wanted any. I finally asked three separate people to bring my check after waiting thirty minutes for the bill. I eventually got up to find someone to pay and was told sorry but we have a big party in the back. That is not my problem. That is management's problem. The food is glorious but deserves better service. The food: excellent. The service: not excellent. Welcome to this freaky area where the women was reviewing resumes. Kinda felt like we were bothering her. Do you have reservations? Nope cause you are not on open table. Just stopped in. Seated us in room that was like a walk in cooler. Thought they were trying to make snow. Drinks were not as described but the server swapped this out. Food was a five. Scallops were amazing. Apps were fabulous, potstickers, Tuna, and the rolls. I will dream about the rolls and chestnut butter. Timing stinks. Loved the menu and hope the service will improve. Can't get worse. So disinterested. Took my knife, never gave me another one. Ate less than of the food, didn't ask if it was ok. Never saw a manager person. Its those annoying customer people. Petty but the receipt shows tip for 18, 20 and 30 percent. Each 10 minutes I took back a couple bucks. I find this insulting, but we dine out often. Thought about dessert, but did not sound good. Come take our check, I am begging you. Dining out is as much about the experience to me as is the food. Last Tuesday evening, a friend and I decided to try Wild Mango in Legacy for the first time. My friend arrived first and wanted to wait in the bar with a drink until I arrived. Upon entering the facility from the entrance lobby which is a very small space with solid doors preventing site into the space, The hostess who was not at the reception desk but behind the closed doors, declined her entrance to the bar and asked that she return to the lobby. The bar appeared open and a bar tender was present. About 10 minutes later and 5 after my arrival, the hostess returned to the entrance lobby and escorted us to an ornate dining room that included one other party only. The space is an opulent room with a very high ceiling and extremely quiet such that we felt uncomfortable speaking normally. After 15 minutes and no acknowledgement of our presence, one person in our party wandered through the maze of hallways having an opportunity to see two other dining rooms. One space decorated in cream velvet and crystals and another a bit more artsy. Both very nice. While she heard people speaking and laughing, She returned to our table unsure if they were guests in private dining rooms or staff in the kitchen. After another 10 minute wait with no site Of hostess or waiter, we chose to leave and go elsewhere. Another couple shortly before we decided to exit was heard in the lobby Asking for service. The online menu led us to be excited to visit but from the moment we entered the restaurant, the polite but pretentious treatment and space coupled with lack of acknowledgement and overall energy resulted in the most off-putting experiences I have encounted Granted my visIt was on a Tuesday night in late January, the restaurant appeared empty based on the seating arrangement of guest.
