I am an Instacard delivery but I have also bought products for my house in the Kendall area plus the Coral Gables store discriminates because of the social class and the type of person who enters this store. I asked two employees to guide me to look for two products that were impossible to locate, they told me that since I WAS NOT A CUSTOMER! They couldn't go with me just to tell me where those products were. What kind of service do they provide? When it was 2:00 in the afternoon and there were no more than two customers in the store and many employees available. Junior and Kanuel must take a customer service course. Wild Fork... they have the meats! lol Great marketing concept to allow customers to sample what they carry! They definitely earned a customer and many more from me. Shopped at Wild Fork and they happened to also hold a free sampling bbq that day where I was able to try a variety of meats that they carry from tri tip to flank steak, and ribs and pork belly to sausages and Mac and cheese to shrimp and fresh focaccia bread. Their products are fresh tasting and tender! The store is super organized and easy to shop and find everything as you look for what you need. Every employee was friendly and helpful overall answering your questions and explaining their products. Prices are very comparable to your local supermarket and even Costco which is great! They also offer a variety of side dishes and fruits and veggies and desserts. Can't wait to cook what I bought and enjoy the freshness and tender cuts of meats. Had an absolutely PHENOMENAL time! Showed up for my first Yelp elite event and they pulled out all the stops. Upon arriving they had an open air fire grill going on and they were serving cuts of steak, chicken & sausage, absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. This store is a really interesting concept. Fresh meats frozen at peak and able to be sold for an excellent price. I was so surprised I could buy a pound of large shrimp for only $7! Lots of options for meats all all sorts including chicken, seafood, pork, and steak. I have already tried the shrimp and gluten free yuca which were amazing! I bought two 3 lb. briskets totalling $76 at the Wild Fork in Coral Gables. I've made briskets for 30+ years and like to think I'm pretty good at cooking them. This meat was terrible. Even after five hours of cooking in the oven , wrapping it in foil to keep the juices in, it was like shoe leather. This place is so great. Let me start off my suggesting the lavender salt rub ordeal in the fixins area. That was the lead role in plenty of meats I've prepared recently. They offer high end cuts in real good stuff which some is hard to find and they price it pretty well. Not only that, but if you do it online and with a little notice then they'll even deliver it to you. I like to look at the rotating sales they offer and start there. It gives me more bang for my buck and it's a quality piece of meat that I can get creative with. If you choose to go in store, it's centrally located on US1 right in the cusp of the gables/grove/somi region which is helpful and practical. While I don't buy all my meat here, I do like to have this option and exercise it well for those meals I want to spoil myself with. The service is impeccable and the store is very clean so I trust it wholeheartedly. Whether it's a simple sporting event or a special night, you can totally count on these guys to source your meats. If you're looking for duck, rabbit, ostrich, and other uncommon meats, Wild Fork Foods is your place. A chain, this particular location, is located in Coral Gables, right next to a CVS or Walgreens (I forget which) and it shares its parking with the aforementioned business. During these times of the pandemic, you might be surprised to know that they're working their regular hours. Until 10 PM! We found out as we opted to call to find out the hours prior to heading on over. Anyway, I had been meaning to go to Wild Fork Foods for ages now, often commenting to my boyfriend about it. Seeing as we decided to make duck confit, where else could we find duck? This place came to mind and we went to get duck and see what else we could find. Once we arrived, we found that they prep online orders for you and even have delivery options. Seeing as we went to go into the store, we waited maybe five minutes before we were let in. Once inside, everything was clean and frozen. Going on, just absolutely wow. There was so much variety, and if you love cooking, this may be the place for you. I had trouble keeping up with my boyfriend. He was like a little kid in a candy store. Meanwhile, I went in and slowly perused the aisles. Aside from the duck we came for, we got branzino which was surprisingly cheap there, as well as spanakopita, bread, and two desserts by Marie Morin. Needless to say, they sell a little bit of everything. Appetizers, sides, desserts - you name it. Oh, and I should probably mention this as well. Aside from meats that are atypical, if you're looking for staples such as chicken, beef, and pork, they offer those, too, with all sorts of options. This place was surprisingly excellent. The only protein I eat is seafood & duck, so I didn't think they'd have much for me. I was pleasantly wrong! They have a great variety of seafood, pre-prepped fish that just needs to be cooked, veggies, desserts, bread/buns & even stuff for your happy hour like mini quiches, escargot, fondue & more. They freeze & vacuum seal their seafood so it's perfectly fresh when you defrost it. I got cod, mahi, monkfish & sushi grade wahoo. The place is very clean, well-lit & organized. Wild Fork is amazing! The quality and price of these frozen meats has been hyped by my friends and family for a while now, and I recently went to pick up some things in my grocery haul. I scooped up chicken breasts, pork chops, morcilla, burgers and some frozen veggies for a grand total of under $45. This meat haul will likely last me two weeks for a family of 4 so it is a huge steal. Since everything here is frozen, you can get high quality proteins at a cheaper price than the fresh stuff. You just need to plan ahead as you will have to defrost of course. Their burgers are awesome and you can cook from frozen in under 10 min. The other cool thing about Wild Fork is that they have unique game meats too. I have been here before to buy duck, and it is delish! We have been to Wild Fork several times now and have sampled most of what we like. The corn souffle was horrible, the pigs in the blanket was overpriced for what you got ($8 for 10 pieces, really?) and the escargot was good but very difficult to get out of the shell. Avoid. We still have a lot to try but overall we are not impressed, especially with the higher prices. Staff is the winner, as they are helpful, personable and very knowledgeable. read more

I am strictly a delivery customer for Wild Fork... at least until the Tampa store opens (soon I hope!). When the pandemic hit, I chose to do more delivery on groceries. Wild Fork had great reviews, and the products they show online looked really good. So I placed an initial order for some meats I love. It arrived within the specified time, and was still well frozen. I immediately started thawing the Frenched Lamb Rack for dinner the next day. It was excellent meat, tasty and tender... and something I will order again! I have placed over a dozen orders with them since that first order, and it has been a great experience all the way around. Delivery was delayed on one order (not Wild Fork's fault) and they still made it good and replaced the items that were thawed when they arrived. Excellent customer service. Finally got to check out the shiny new meat restaurant I had been eyeing for quite some time driving down US-1. Wild Fork Foods is located next to a Walgreens in an ample parking lot. When you walk in it is PROTEIN central. Here you can find any meat you want to cook ranging from chicken, to Chilean sea bass, to tomahawk steak. The store boasts that it is organic. I'm very ok with this! Got a few items to try out from the store which included some of their seasoning. At first I complained to my spouse that they were over charging us for simple seasoning. Needless to say when we smoked our lambchops in the seasoning we bought from there W-O-W. Simply amazing. Brought out all the flavors of the lambchop we had also purchased at the store. It's a great idea! I buy meat and freeze it anyway so being that it's flash frozen for freshness is a plus for me. I've tried a variety of stuff from seafood to poultry and meat as well. You can find interesting stuff as well .... including ostrich, duck, and venison. They also have stuff frozen on skewers so you can just buy it and throw it on the grill.... convenient. The prices are reasonable and I found everting to be clean and neat. The staff is extremely helpful. It's small but it's quick to get your stuff and pay. The only downside is all the plastic packaging but can't think of any other way to store the frozen food. Also the resealable bags are convenient so you can grab as many pieces of chicken or meat as you need at the time without having to thaw the whole bag. They also sell some veggies, fruits, breads, and even desserts. read more

Came into wild fork last weekend because I wanted a tomahawk ribeye. Since no one around really has this was my only option. I picked up a prime cut it was around $62 dollars which is a very fair price. I got home and when I thawed her out and removed from packing I noticed it seemed like a choice cut. Not much marbling on the steak. Maybe I'm used to Whole Foods prime cuts which are amazing no matter how you cook it. I reversed seared her then threw her in the oven at 250 till rare my likening. As I'm cutting it was super tough there's tendons everywhere I know it's a ribeye I love the fat but this thing was loaded every cut has a super tough tendon felt like I was chewing bark. Very disappointing I made this for some friends that I had hyped up for hours while making this steak and all for nothing we all left dissatisfied. I'll just stick to Whole Foods meats. read more

There's no reason to go to Publix or Winn Dixie for meat or seafood anymore. I was amazed at how reasonable these prices were, and the quality seems to be great as well. The store is very clean and well-organized and the concept it simple: frozen foods and spices only. I will be back for sure and probably make this exclusive for my meats and seafood. They even sell BeyondMeat along with specialty meats like venison, alligator, and goat. $3.30 for seafood medley, $5 for 3lbs of BONELESS chicken thighs, and $4 for 4 pieces of tilapia. First of all, I'm just going to credit Yelp Broward's Michael C and Savanna M for turning me on to Wild Fork. I'd passed by many times, but I never like the tight parking in this shopping center, so I would always just say forget it, I'm not stopping. Anyway, this is all frozen food, mostly various meats and seafood, but some frozen fruits and veggies are on offer too. If I'm being honest, I still would prefer fresh, but the prices for all these meats and meat products are tough to beat, not to mention the convenience factor. The meats do seem to be of reasonably high quality, so perhaps I'm just hung up on fresh vs. frozen. There is something to be said for buying a nice cut of meat at a reasonable price and just throwing it in the freezer until ready to use, instead of buying a nice cut of fresh meat at an exorbitant price and then absolutely needing to use it within a couple days. I think this is the niche Wild Fork has carved out for itself, and I get it - Trader Joe's has *some* frozen meats at a good price, but nowhere close to this level of variety. While I may not entirely stop buying conventional fresh meats and veggies, Wild Fork is definitely going to have a place in my shopping rotation. read more

So glad I finally "discovered" them. This is a boutique and quaint, friendly, well run and stocked flash frozen grocery specialty store. They are protein experts and have a wide selection of chicken, pork, beef, ribs, seafood, etc. The quality of the food is top notch, especially the churrasco, ribs, tuna and salmon. Prices are reasonable - usually 30-40% LESS than Publix. Additionally, during the Covid-19 pandemic, not only were they cleaning the handles of the freezers every 15 min, but they also limited the number of customers making for a safe shopping experience. This place is hidden gem for meats. I have always gotten my meats at publix, target, and casco. What a huge difference. They have such a big variety in meats, poultry, and fish.
