The worst thing about this place is that it's packed on the weekends, but that's because it's awesome! I love their breakfast menu especially the scramblers and Benedict's. They have all of the classics plus a couple of fun twists. I've never had their lunch menu, but if it's anything like breakfast it's great. The drink specials are always good and I love grabbing brunch here if I have time and they have space! read more

Love love love coming in for breakfast with guests in town! You have to time if right thiugh because if you come between 10 and 12 on weekends, expect about a half hour wait. The menu satisfies every type of customer and they also have plenty of vegetarian optjons for guests that need them! I've only had one dish here I didn't like: bananas foster waffle. The carmel hardened too quick and made the waffle tough to eat. But, every egg dish is fantastic! read more

SHORT REVIEW: Wild Eggs is an award-winner as far as food goes. But I think something is amiss in the realm of drinks and overall experience. LONG REVIEW: -- LOCATION: They found a perfect spot for this, really; all things considered. Parking may not be the best, but as downtown expands and grows, it is an ever-more culturally acceptable challenge anyway. Inside, you'll find bright, clean, and pleasant breakfast decor; very on-brand with how Wild Eggs feels like it should present itself as. -- FOOD//DRINKS: The food is very, very good. And the menu boasts some creative options that you won't very easily find in other places. So, hat tip to the Chef and team for this. Try anything and you will leave happy. The drinks, though, are a bit off-kilter. While they are equally as creative as far as mimosas go, they are few in number and not really comparable to prices for the same or similar breakfast & brunch drinks in other and nearby places. Why didn't it get 5 stars? Well, really because of two things: 1) 'Brunch culture' is swelling and has an increasingly more discerning opinion about the environment that plays well with its desires. Wild Eggs is not quite hitting the mark in this intangible, highly experiential area. 2) The drink prices are really not in-line with expectation. Shaving a solid dollar or buck-and-a-half off would feel more "right." read more

Delicious!!! Food & staff are wonderful! The food is the star of this place for sure! I had the CHICKEN INFUSED WAFFLES which included a whole chicken breast and crumbled BACON! The Bloody Mary was perfect! Not your average breakfast & lunch place. The only negative part is parking and the long wait for a table/food BUT I chalk it up to a Saturday afternoon. read more

BEST BREAKFAST EVER! Jordan was our server and she was amazingly attentive and was the sweetest girl ever. She went above and beyond to assist us. The food. Dear God the food. There was nothing that we didn't like. We ordered the chicken and waffles, country fried steak, Buscuits with Chroizo gravy, pancakes, hash browns, grits and coffee. We passed around food because everything was amazing. What we didn't finish we took with us. It was so amazing. read more

Wild Eggs is one of Indy's BEST breakfast/brunch places! The best thing at Wild Eggs, they have a huge gluten free menu! Yes! They even have a separate menu. Don't forget to ask for it! The service is almost always stellar. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. I'm on a mission to try everything on the menu. Care to join me? read more

this place is soooooo good & the waitress kate is amazing, the service she provided us with was perfection. we will be back

Food was good but service needs major overhaul. Party of two at 11 AM on Sunday. Probably 10 parties waiting. 30-45 minute wait time. Multiple visible empty tables. 3/4 wait staff would go through lobby area to smoke out front. I understand staff needs a break but it looks really bad to customers. Done with meal and waiting for check. Couldn't locate server and once again, spotted her outside smoking on sidewalk. Ugh. Get a new business model. read more

Fantastic food. Sloooooooow service. The food was amazing, per usual. However the service was as slow as molasses from the minute we walked in the door. Having waited tables myself, I am always considerate but the restaurant was not even full and there were more than enough servers on staff. They just were ALL stunningly slow- even the hostesses. read more

Excellent breakfast. Clean, efficient service. Big portions. Very fair pricing. Great coffee. Highly recommend it.

This fine breakfast eatery has not faltered once. Two times I have ordered 3 GF pancakes with 100% maple syrup. And both times they were huge, fluffy, and soaked up the syrup perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who just loves breakfast food anytime of the day. Also the restaurant is unlike other breakfast themed restaurants in the following way: We are not sitting on top of each other. In other words I have personal space while enjoying my food. read more

Terrible. Got here on a Friday morning after a Colts game. We were seated within 5 minutes and there were a ton of open tables at the time. 30 minutes later we still hadn't been approached to take our drink order and had to go to the hostess to find out what is happening. We noticed that several tables that were seated after us had already been helped. Our waitress finally came over and acknowledged that they forgot about us. Instead of taking our order she brought drinks and then proceeded to help the other tables that came after us. An hour after we were seated we finally had our orders taken and we didn't receive food until 1.5 hours after being seated. The food did not taste good and the butter didn't even melt on the pancakes. Everyone else there also seemed unhappy. I would go somewhere else if you have a choice. read more

I've never been to a Wild Eggs restaurant before, so it was my first experience. I sat at the circular "breakfast bar." It was a cool experience! Very retro feeling. I ordered the Surfer Girl omelette with the blueberry/lemon muffin (definitely must try) and the potatoes. Pros: 1- Location. Right off of Mass Ave. Near the hustle and bustle of the southern tip of Mass Ave. 2- Service. Whoa, we were almost overwhelmed by the service. 3- the blueberry muffin. Has strands of lemon throughout the entire muffin - delicious! 4- the options. CHeck out the menu - there's everything from waffles, pancakes, french toast, omelettes, burgers, sandwiches, mimosas, teas, coffees, and tons in between. LOTS of options for everyone - great! Cons: 1- The lack of decor. Some of it was actually kind of gross. I don't like runny yolk, so one of the photos of the egg with the runny yolk was a bit unappetizing. 2- A tad bit pricey. Is it overpriced? No, but I could see my meal being knocked off by a dollar and it would be more reasonably priced for the amount of food that came out. Overall, it was a good experience! Would I go back? Yes. Am I dying to go back for anything? Only the blueberry muffin! read more

Love, love, love this eclectic menu! Excellent creative breakfast offerings were a huge hit for our visit!

We first tried Wild Eggs in Louisville and loved it. So happy they've arrived in Naptown! I like the location by Mass Ave. Large menu selection with unique flavor combinations. The mushroom garlic skillet had a great flavor without having too much garlic. The lemon raspberry pancakes are like dessert. No syrup needed! They make a good cup of coffee, and they offer a number of spirited brunch beverages such as mimosas, bellinis, and bloody Marys to name only a few. I absolutely love their in house fresh squeezed oj! For my budget, it's a little pricey but worth an occasional treat. read more

"I'm so sorry I said this place looked generic" my friend said halfway through our meal. He better be. This sentiment couldn't be truer. Wild Eggs looks like a generic chain breakfast place but the food was deliciously unique. We had a massive meal so this review will be lengthy: We started with the pomegranate mimosas which were tasty, today, and just ever-so-slightly pomegranatey. Perfect. Next came dessert as our appetizer: homemade cinnabun. I thought this was freaking fantastic. Hot and doughy with a perfect balance of sweet and salty. One of my buddies is a self-proclaimed cinnabun connoisseur and he approved. Then our main course. The wild mushroom and goat cheese omelette was the bomb. I wish there was a little more goat cheese on it but other than that, it was a unique and satisfying dish. We had two eggs benedicts. One was southern style benedict with fried chicken on a freaking cornbread waffle!! Dang that was different. I'm not a big fan of cornbread but this was great. They also gave us a bottle of warm syrup with this. And lastly we had the bennie's gone wild. This was a tomato centered dish with mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, and roasted tomatoes Hollandaise. I love tomatoes so take this with a grain of salt: not enough tomato flavor! It was a very rich Hollandaise but not as tomato-ey as I had hoped. Food was fantastic, being buzzed was great, service was ok. I recommend it. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, so some friends and I stopped by this morning. Brightly colored walls in a fairly plain dining room with various pictures of eggs line the walls. Service was okay. Not the best but not the worst. One person missed out on a water glass and it took took three reminders to the server to get one. I went with the Klamity Kates.. corn cakes piled with pico, queso fundido, avocado, poached eggs and chorizo. Everything here has a Mexican twist, but this dish was pretty amazing. Most of the entrees come with an "everything" muffin. We asked what this way, and was told it was similar to an everything bagel. I decided to get something else. A friend got it and it was pretty much just poppy seeds. I did the blueberry muffin and didn't see one single blueberry. I'm not quite sure what I ate. Decent food if you like Mexican breakfast. read more

This is a brand new location of a delicious breakfast/brunch restaurant. I love trying out new places, so I have been anxious for the opening once I saw the sign. I came with a group of friends the first weekend that it was open. The atmosphere was very warm with pastel colors on the walls and a similar atmosphere to Yolk. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was also very good. The group got several different plates, including a breakfast burrito, the eggs Benedict, and the lemon-raspberry pancakes. I was able to try all of them. Everyone agreed that the food was very good all around. The food did take a while to come out, but the presentation was very good for every dish. This is definitely in my top 5 for brunch spots in downtown Indy! read more

I visited Wild Eggs on a Tuesday morning around 10am. We were seated immediately and the staff was very welcoming! Our waitress was a young college student who consistently visited out tables for coffee and water refills. The manager, Patrick came by and introduced himself while we were waiting for our food. I ordered a Farmers Market Skillet with a blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was delicious! The blueberries were the perfect tartness and the muffin was very moist. There was a large, fresh blueberry at the bottom of the muffin! I'm a blueberry muffin lover if you can't tell and I will be going back just for the muffin. My skillet was a good size. I usually order skillets and can't eat the whole thing. This skillet was filled with a good portion of veggies and I was able to finish the skillet. I also ordered a cup of coffee. I drank the coffee black and it was wonderful. They don't have any fancy creams for the creamer lovers! My meal ended up being about $14 for my skillet, muffin (no extra charge), and coffee. GLUTEN FREE! They serve gluten free bread substitute for toast AND french toast. They will also make gluten free pancakes! This place is the ultimate gluten free breakfast restaurant. Double brownie points for all the gluten free options! Recommendation: Wild Eggs should get a small variety of sweet creamers! It will allow for all coffee lovers to enjoy a cup of joe at the Wild Eggs! Next time: I might dive into the gluten free french toast - time will tell! read more

I have searched high and low for bananas foster pancakes around Indy and was really excited to try this place, because I didn't want to drive all the way to Carmel to get them. I definitely wasn't disappointed. There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but they offer you free coffee while you wait. Major plus, since I need my caffeine. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He stopped by quite a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. I got the bananas foster pancakes obviously and it was a stack of three huge pancakes. And by huge, I mean bigger than my face, huge. It was a little weird that the sauce came in a cup on the side, but it was delicious. It also came with a huge scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on it, which I think is a bit unnecessary. I am not a fan of ice cream for breakfast. However, it went nicely with the pancakes. If I come here again, I would probably ask for no ice cream on it. When I first ordered I was a little unsure about how big the portions were, since seemed to be a concern of a few people previously, but I thought I had plenty since the pancakes were so large. Overall, it was a good experience and I would probably come back here again for the pancakes. I think this is the only place in Indy that has bananas foster pancakes! read more

A menu with something for everyone. Multiple items I would have like to try. Side note: a great touch to provide coffee and water for customers as they wait. There generally is a wait and there is not a lot of space. I would recommend booking a table in advance online. I requested my table 30mins before I arrived and only had a 2 minute wait. read more

Other reviews here mention complaints about the service but that wasn't my experience at all. Granted I was there at 7a on a Saturday with only one other table inhabited. My waiter was friendly and attentive. I was also intrigued by the grits of the day and instead of just describing them, my waiter brought me a cup to sample! The grits were mixed with some sausage, peppers, and jack cheese which of course meant I added them on as a side. The problem I experienced was with my main dish. Maybe I ordered wrong (the Kelsey 'KY' Brown) but it was very very salty. I don't know if it was the turkey or what, but I had a hard time cutting through the salt especially at the end. The dish was also swimming in the white cheddar Mornay. I did like the vibe of the restaurant and it was extremely clean. I also can appreciate any place that brings you an entire coffee carafe with your order. And you better believe I drained that carafe all by myself... read more

Atmosphere is a little cold with a high ceiling and a lot of plain drywall. The waitress was very nice and attentive. No complaints. I ordered an egg over easy for the Mr. Potatohead dish and specifically asked that it be runny. The breakfast took a lot of time to come out even though only about 6 tables were occupied. The egg came out solid and I immediately brought that to the attention of the waitress. They took it back immediately and brought me out a good one in about 5 minutes. The actually food and coffee were both good. Also reasonable prices so despite the egg foul up, they were concerned about fixing it enough for me to give 4 stars. read more

I always look for a good Sunday brunch spot and Wild Eggs made my list! I came here with a friend at about 11:30 on a Sunday. The place was packed and we had a 25 minute wait until we could get in. I ordered the House Blend Coffee and the Huevos Rancheros. I must say the coffee was really good! Not watered down at all! My friend ordered a Big Stack with a side of eggs and bacon. It took about 30 minutes for our food to come out, which was understandable because it was so busy. My Huevos Ranceros was amazing!! The beans and potatoes were super flavorful and the salsa was very fresh. I got a large serving which I could barely finish. My serving size was nothing compared to my friend's, however. The Big Stack is definitely VERY BIG. The pancakes are HUGE and very fluffy. It's a whole lotta pancake for one person, but they were great for the price! I will definitely be stopping by for brunch again. Perhaps I will go in earlier to beat the rush! read more

I've been wanting to try Wild Eggs for brunch for a while now and was very disappointed. We waited 45 minutes to get a table, which I didn't mind because that is the norm for Saturday morning brunch, but we also waited 45 minutes to get our food. The waitress brought a small pitcher of water for the table and we never saw her again until she brought out our food. We ordered the french toast and pancakes. They were comparable to IHOP, only IHOP had better service. Honestly, I would rather have waited for Yolk than to come here. Maybe I had a bad first experience, but I would recommend people to not waste their time. read more

I couldn't even wait to post this review. The food is so amazing and I'm still eating while posting this review. I had the crabbie benny which is a crab benedict with a side of buffalo chicken grits and I also ordered a side of the sautéed spinach which I HIGHLY recommend. The food was amazing and tasted so fresh. Kristine was our server and she was amazing from start to end. I didn't like that the check got dropped before we were done eating but I don't know if that's a company policy or not, either way it comes off a little rude; however, that didn't make me take away a star or say anything bad about our server. I highly recommend this place because the food and mimosas are great. read more

Food might have been good if it wasn't cold . It took at least 25mins for the food to be brought to the table . Server was very dry with us and I'm not sure why . I wanted to try a new breakfast place downtown, and Wild Eggs popped up on Yelp. I'm really happy it did because this is a great breakfast spot in the Mass Ave area! I was pretty basic and ordered a waffle with chocolate chips. Although there wasn't much to it, it was really delicious. There were chocolate chips both inside my waffle and on top. YUM! Their coffee is great (and bottomless- thank goodness), as well! I need to be more adventurous next time and try one of their egg items. The main reason I'm giving them a 5 star review, though, is for the service. Our waitress was super fast, efficient, and on top of things! Gotta love good service. I went on a Saturday morning, and it was not busy at all. I'm guessing it's because it's a brand new location in the area! So be sure to go and tell your friends to go! I was excited to try this new brunch restaurant to downtown Indy, only to be disappointed. The food tasted pretty average and the French toast portion was so small! I only got two regular (certainly not thick) slices for just over $8. After looking at the to go menu on our way out, I realized it would have been cheaper to order two slices of French toast as a side. Upon discussion, my boyfriend and I suspect that the rent at this space is very high given the location, and that the restaurant won't do too well over time as there were significantly more staff than customers at 10 am Saturday morning. Side note: Wild Eggs has a very similar vibe (layout, colors, decor, etc) to Yolk, also located downtown. However, Yolk serves significantly larger portions for a similar price. read more
