My dog has been a customer here for food and vet care since he was a puppy, so I trusted them to…read moregroom him for the first time. While the groom itself looked fine, my dog was cut near his private area and this was not disclosed to me. My dog is very reactive -- there is no way this injury went unnoticed. The groomers requested I bring him in so the vet can take a look at th grooming injury and for me to be eligible for a refund. He was prescribed both a topical and oral antibiotic that he needs to be on for 2 weeks. This was presented as them "making it right," even though the visit was necessary solely due to their mistake. When I requested my refund, I was initially offered only $20 on a $140 grooming bill. After insisting, they agreed to a full refund -- and then immediately removed me as a client, meaning I now must also find a new vet as well. There was no empathy, accountability, or concern shown for my dog's wellbeing. Since the incident, my dog has been uncomfortable, wearing a cone, refusing to use the bathroom, and barely eating. I've had to rearrange my schedule and miss work to care for him. Mistakes happen. But how a business responds to them matters -- and this response was unacceptable.

DO NOT USE REBER RANCH GROOMER! Made an appointment two months ago, just moved to the area. They…read morecalled me three times, to verify the six upcoming appointments I had made, for monthly maintenance and a deep grooming spa day. Each time they were confused by what I asked to have done, saying that it was booked incorrectly, by the previous employee, obviously not knowing what each employee was doing. My husband took our German Shepherd girl in, they spent 10 minutes on her, didn't do half of the items that I asked to be done, charged 55 bucks, and refused a full refund. Instead, they created their own package, slapped a price on it, and did what they wanted to do. Not what the customer asked & paid for. We made an appointment, got an email, got a text message, and they made him wait as a walk-in, instead I'm giving him the appointment he had made. I called to speak to the assistant manager, she was dismissive, argumentative and rude. Our dog was traumatized. Her stomach was shaved bald, yet they didn't bother to rake out her fur, only spending 15 minutes for a list of grooming items needing to be done. She had a wonderful groomer, before we moved, and has never behaved this way. She was scared when she came out of that room. Reber Ranch is not what it used to be. They are unprofessional, disorganized, argumentative, and dismissive. With the behavior of my dog, I am considering calling the authorities, for this facility.

So when I picked her up they showed me her tail and said something about a gland. Nothing about the fact that they had cut her tail . Het tail has been oozing all night and day. I was lied to. I visited this store over the weekend, really looking forward to adopting a bird. Before driving an…read morehour, I called ahead to confirm if they had birds for adoption or if it was just a supply store, as I was specifically interested in that. The guy I spoke with said yes, they do have birds for adoption, but didn't clarify much beyond that. I assumed it would be like a Petco-style place where you can meet and adopt birds. When I arrived, I was shocked by how dusty the store was and how poorly maintained the cages looked. The birds' habitats seemed depressing and unsuitable -- definitely not the kind of environment where birds should live. When I asked about adopting a bird, I was told flat out, "THEY ARE NOT FOR ADOPTION." I was confused because didn't I call to ask that? And they said yes? Then I asked, "Neither of them?" He said only two types of birds were actually available for adoption, and those were the same birds you can find at Petco. If I had known this, I wouldn't have driven an hour I was specifically interested in African Grey parrots, which they had but not for adoption and since they are not available at Petco, I thought they would have one there for adoption. We were looking at the birds and we were never told "if you are interested in adopting these are available" which I would've appreciated. I decided to go to Petco after which is 5 min away from my house! and got a jenday conure bird there. Anyway, I ended up buying some sunflower seeds for a bird I already have at home, but he wouldn't eat them, which was weird because those are his favorite. It turned out the bag was expired, which explains why. Overall, this place felt really poorly managed, especially regarding the birds' living conditions. They desperately need better habitats that allow the birds space to stretch their wings and have a more natural, healthy environment. I do not recommend this place.

My husband and I purchased,in April of this year, 6 chicks that were suppose to be all hens…read more Shortly there after the purchase, one of th chick's died, presumably because of dirty butt, and two of the remaining chicks proved to be roosters. As this was our first experience in the raising of chickens from chicks, we trusted the experienced staff to pick six females from the Plymouth chicken stock they had on hand. In Seattle, it is illegal to have a rooster, much less two of them, and understandably why, as their crowing at 3 am, 6am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and sometimes, 9pm, both of them at the same time if not one right after the other. It has become intolerable. I paid for six hens and I would like to trade anybody who wants a rooster(s) for a hen, our roosters are well fed and well developed, and horny. But more importantly, I would like this business to make right their mistake. I have called and left my number

I've purchased odds and ends here for my horse for a couple years and was looking forward to switching my annual hay delivery to them (4 tons). I used the "request a quote" on their web page. No response. After waiting a few days I called for price and was told they have 2022 timothy for $29/bale. When I showed up I was informed it was 2 string not 3 string, but don't worry because the bales are 90 lbs and I would get 20 in a ton. (20 x 90 = 1800, not 2000, but I digress). I bought four bales to see if my mare likes it. Success! But immediately upon unloading them I knew they weren't 90 lbs. I normally buy 3 tie so I know exactly what that weight feels like. These I could pick up with very little effort. I cracked out my scale and weighed all four bales. Spot-on 75lbs every single one of them which is pretty standard for a 2 string bale. Hmm...75lbs x 20 bales = 1500 lbs. That's 3/4 ton for $580. For a full ton I'd need 26 bales which = $750. I sent a nicey-nice email via their web submit form thinking that there was some kind of miscommunication or honest mistake - also that it would be easier for someone to respond in their own time than be bothered with the phone. No response. In the meantime, my mare has eaten an entire bale in 3.5 days. 90 pounds...are you kidding me? The horse doesn't lie and neither does the scale. Two days later I called to have a nicey-nice chat to clarify the numbers before I ordered four ton (assuming there was some kind of misunderstanding). Dan got REALLY defensive REALLY fast. He said the 20 bales x 90lbs = 1800 lbs pounds which is basically the same thing as a ton. He said it's 1800 lbs because I get a $1/bale discount for the ton price. Gosh, that's a great discount if I get 10% off for getting 10% less. WTF? When I brought up the 75lb weight of the 90lb bales they sold me, Dan's response was that they sell hay by the bale, not by weight, because they don't have a scale. Kind of weird of them not to verify the weight of the product they are buying wholesale for retail, yes? Dan...you LITERALLY sell hay by the weight. You point-blank tell people the price is $28 for a 90 pound bale. But you're not selling 90 pounds. You're selling 75 lbs. And when it's brought to your attention your excuse is that you "don't have a scale". I know this place is friendly and has lots of stuff for pet owners/weekenders. But for a major purchase of $2.5k hay, Iron Horse is not happening for me. They would have shorted me $600 worth (one ton) of hay. Super, super sketchy.
