I originally came to see them about my dog's leash reactivity and ended up attending their group obedience classes. The classes are structured in a way that is easy to follow and interactive. Despite it being a group class I felt like the trainers spent equal time with each person/dog always providing constructive feedback and encouragement. They have also provided me with recommendations for various training tools. They really do look at each dog uniquely as some dogs may need a more stern approach to obedience while others, like my dog, need some encouragement. I also highly recommend the agility program! Hi, I want to share our very sad and disappointing experience with VCA Covington and encourage you…read morenot to visit this office. While our visits before Emma's end-of-life were positive and warm, we received such painful and shameful care at the end of Emma's life. I would never want another family or pet to go through what we did. Here's our story: Emma was diagnosed with renal disease around 9 months old. She had testing done prior to her being spayed. Dr. Walls believed it was possibly due to a birth defect. Moving forward, we went to the office every 6 months for check-ups and blood work. Around the end of April (Emma is now almost 5), we noticed Emma was declining in health. Around that time, I went on our VCA app and scheduled an appointment. Her appointment was scheduled for a month away (beginning of June). So, the next day, I called the office and asked if there was any way we could get Emma in sooner. The receptionist told me that we could call each day at 8 a.m. to see if we could get a cancellation and come in for a same-day appointment. I am a schoolteacher, and I explained I could not leave work for a same-day appointment and asked if there was an appointment the next day or in the coming week or so, anything sooner than beginning of June. I was told no, and she recommended we take Emma to Arrow, if needed. Fast forward two weeks later, and Emma is getting worse. I call again, and I am told the same thing again. This time, I say that my children's pediatrician keeps sick appointments in their schedule....was this something their office did as well? No, but I can call each day at 8 a.m. to hope to get a cancellation for a same-day appointment. This time, I ask a clarifying question: So am I understanding that your office is more of a clinic for preventive and wellness care? And, the receptionist says, yes. Then another week passes, and Emma is very sick. I have the same conversation with the same clarifying questions and answers. So, your office provides wellness and preventative care, but sick visits are not to be expected? Yes. This time, I share that we are so sad and disappointed in the care we are receiving at Emma's end-of-life. That this is something they needed to share with our family and other families when their pet is diagnosed with a chronic disease. 4 days later our sweet Emma was put to rest at Mountainside Vet in Maple Valley. Someplace she was not a patient, with people she had not been see or been cared by. They were wonderful with Emma, but what a terrible and shameful way for VCA to handle our situation. Emma died 4 weeks after we had made our appointment. Please do not take your pets to this clinic!! Your family and pets deserve dignity, compassion, and love at the end of their life. I also want to add that Fairwood Veterinary Office was also so helpful and kind when we were searching for sooner care. They were so helpful and caring. VCA may be great for wellness and preventative care, but end-of-life care is also so important.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. We got a wonderful charcoal lab from Circle B in 2016…read morewhen they were a smaller breeder. We decided to get another lab puppy from them in 2020. We put money down on a litter to pick a female puppy that was born in January 2021. We had first pick of our female puppy out of the two females from the litter. We went to pick her up when she was ready to big enough to leave, the other female puppy had already been picked up. A couple of months later, we discovered by looking at pictures, they had given us the wrong puppy, the puppy we did not pick and did not want because she was too hyper. How does that happen when there are only two females in the litter. We did not say anything for a while, because we knew that we had to keep this puppy now, because the other one was gone. When I finally sent a letter to Cassandra, the owner letting her know how upset we were, I never heard a word, nothing acknowledging the mistake or an apology even. We just took our dog, who was now 4 in January to the vet, and she has to see a specialist because the vet thinks she has retinol neuropathy. When you pay a breeder that much for the dog, they should make sure you get the dog you picked and do sufficient testing to rule out potentially serious genetic defects. I will never buy another dog from Circle B and I certainly will never recommend them to anyone I know. Horrible!

We got our precious Sherman from Circle B Ranch Olde English Bulldogges in late August and could…read morenot be happier with both the newest family member, but the experience with Circle B. My wife and I had a solid, long discussion not only about the contract aspects, but this breed in general, things to expect, etc. Was a blessing to hear that when Sherman was born the family at Circle B looked at him and exclaimed "Charger", because he looks so much like his grandpa dog. We have felt completed supported and well communicate with throughout the entire process.
