Over the past few years, we've had our share of health concerns from his heart condition to more recently trying to get to the bottom of some skin issues. I'll be the first to admit that I'm probably a difficult client because I worry so much about him, but the team at Island Cat Veterinary Hospital has always treated both of us with so much kindness, patience, and compassion. I always leave feeling like they genuinely care about finding the best solution for him. It's so comforting knowing there's a team that truly loves cats and treats every patient as if they were their own. Whether it's a routine visit or something that's been keeping me up at night, they've always taken the time to listen, explain things thoroughly, and make sure I feel supported. I'm incredibly grateful for everything that the team at Island Cats and Dr.Hargett has done for my little guy over the years. Thank you for always being there for him, and for incredibly anxious cat moms like me!

I also thought the bill was reasonable and there was no upselling or playing on pet owner quilt or fear. I'm glad I moved my cats care to Island Vets and I think even my cat would agree that, as far as trips to the Vet goes, this one was an improvement from other places we have had bad experiences with.

Sure, cats are pretty low-maintenance, but it's well worth the peace of mind knowing that someone is spending quality time with your cat. And Brea's photo updates are such a treat - she could be a pet photographer, she always manages to get some great photos of our normally shy cat! Tip: try to coordinate at least a few days in advance. I think we did an in-person meetup the first time (which I appreciated!) and also needed to to coordinate key drop off, so give yourself time to work out logistics.

I have nothing but great things to say about the AMK team! We just completed our second stay with…read morethem for my 2 year old cat. She was not "socialized" (ie. used to being around other cats) during her first visit, but the team worked with me before booking to make sure that Mochi would be a good fit and have the private space she needed to feel comfortable while she warmed up to the space. For cats younger than 1 year or unsocialized young cats like mine, they have a separate room where they let the kitties warm up to each other before letting them free-roam around the whole catio and garden, which I think is a great idea. On that first visit, Mochi ended up wanting to hang out with the team in their office the whole week, and they made sure she got plenty of stimulation and attention even though she wasn't being a team-player and playing with the other guests. The staff give great personalized feedback at the end of each visit, so we were happy to hear when we picked her up after her second visit that she was a bit braver and ventured into the free-roam areas this time. Another highlight for me is that the team posts photos of every guest every other day of the week, so it's easy to check in and see how your cat is doing while you're traveling! Their pricing is super fair and booking our second visit was even easier, since they already had Mochi's records and details. It gives great peace of mind to know that the team is extremely on top of vaccination records, so my cat is not going to get sick from the other guests. We will continue to be happy patrons of All My Kitties!
