Today I placed an online order for a balloon bouquet for a co-worker, and when it arrived - I was embarrassed! The bouquet was missing 3 latex balloons which I was charged for, and instead of getting the nice purple anchor I ordered ($3), I got a crappy green balloon filled with sand! I immediately called Wild About Balloons and asked to talk to the manager. The man that answered the phone said he could assist me. When I explained the situation, he said he made a mistake thinking the order only called for 3 balloons. I understand mistakes happen, but when I mentioned the anchor, he told me all he would credit me back was $1!!!!! I explained to him that that was unacceptable since I didn't order a crappy balloon full of sand, rather the anchor that is represented on their web site. The man really didn't seem to care that he'd made a mistake and didn't even apologize. He then told me he would credit me back for the 3 balloons I didn't receive, however that has not been done yet. I am a first time customer who will never recommend this business. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of care I received when I called was completely unprofessional. It makes me wonder if this company handles all customers this way - and if most customers aren't actually getting what they pay for. At the very least, I believe the man on the phone should have apologized and offered to make this right. (By the way there is a $15 delivery charge that was not even mentioned until my order had already been processed.) read more

Don't waste your time. I'm from out of state with a lot of family in the anchorage area and my little sister was in the hospital so I had some balloons sent to her... Well that was the plan anyways... the website does not in anyway indicate that they are "on vacation for 2 weeks." I waited all day to hear if she had received the balloons from her hospital room and nothing ever showed up! The next day I called to see what happened and that is where I heard their very vague voicemail saying that they were closed for two weeks.. with no dates attached I have no way of knowing how much longer they will be gone so they can refund my money.. The website allowed me set up same day delivery and go through the entire checkout process without saying that it wouldn't get filled.. they let down a sick kid in the hospital because of their poor business practices! Do NOT bother they are inconsiderate and just want your money! I will update once/if my money ever gets returned at the end of this vague 2 week vacation! read more

I just want to say that when I ordered from Wild About Balloons that the gentleman that I dealt with was excellent. I ordered the cookies and balloon package and my wife was very impressed with the cookies. They were excellent and freshly made (appreciate the adjustment on the cookies and very appreciative that a raisin or two did make it).
