At 43 years old, this pregnancy means more to me than I can put into words. Dr. Llarena was extremely thoughtful and precise throughout the entire process. She continuously adjusted my medication protocol to find the best stimulation and ovulation plan for my body. During the embryo transfer process, she also carefully tailored my medications to give my uterus the best possible support for implantation. Thanks to her expertise and personalized care, I was able to create a healthy baby boy embryo, and incredibly, my very first embryo transfer was successful and resulted in implantation. I am now 14 weeks pregnant, and I could not be more thankful. What makes this journey even more meaningful is that three years ago, Dr. Llarena also successfully helped me create a healthy baby girl embryo. I have kept that embryo safely stored, and I hope to come back in about a year, when the timing is right, for another transfer and hopefully continue growing my family. Dr. Llarena is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but she also made me feel that every step of my treatment was carefully considered and individualized. I truly appreciate her dedication, patience, and outstanding medical expertise. I also want to sincerely thank her entire team for all of their support, especially her assistant Kelly, who was always patient and thorough when explaining my medications and treatment instructions. Thank you so much, Dr. Llarena, Kelly, and the whole team, for helping me reach this incredibly special milestone. During my most recent 90-minute massage, the therapist introduced a treatment that was never explained to me or discussed beforehand. I wasn't asked for my consent until after it had already been used on one side of my body. I later learned it wasn't even part of the massage service I had booked. I left with significant marks on my legs for days afterward--something I absolutely would have declined had I been given the opportunity to make an informed decision beforehand. To their credit, management acknowledged my concerns and confirmed that this technique is not part of the massage service they offer. However, the resolution offered didn't reflect the seriousness of what happened. When I respectfully explained why I didn't feel it was appropriate and asked them to reconsider, I never received another response. Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, what began as an issue with informed consent ended with poor follow-through and communication from management. After years of supporting this business, spending hundreds of dollars on services and gift certificates, I expected much better. I hope they take informed consent more seriously and do a better job standing behind their services when they fall short.

This review is long over do!!!!!!!…read more After researching several other IVF clinics, we finally decided to come here for two reasons. (1) A friend of mine had highly recommended him (who had healthy twin girls the first time) and (2) He was much more affordable than other IVF clinics in the LA area. So my husband and I came to Dr. Bayrak's office in September 2021 with the last hope of starting a family and he did not disappoint! My wife and I have been a client of Dr. Wilcox for 2 years now. I was referred to him by a colleague. My consultation with him was exceptionally professional, and also guided my wife and I with a plan of care that was filled with compassion and hope. Going into this, I knew I needed to be patient. Sometimes, things may not go according to plan; but Dr. Wilcox and his team had been an excellent resource and support system for us while we underwent the process of fertility issues. Everyone from the front desk, greets each guest with a friendly "hello" and a smile. The phlebotomists are incredibly sweet and very efficient. The NP's are also very kind, and they provide excellent bedside care. The nursing staff...I cannot rave enough about. You can see the hustle and bustle of patient traffic-flow by just viewing the waiting room; however, you are always made to feel as if you are the ONLY patient there when they call your name to come back. You're not made to feel like just a number; but an actual person. They remember your concerns, listen to your newest worries, help carry you through even the most difficult of situations... they (and Dr. Wilcox included) truly are angels undercover working hard to make dreams come true. My main coordinator, Rachel, has been such a blessing to my wife and myself. She has been my biggest advocate, cheerleader, supporter, and someone who you can see genuinely loves the work she does. If there was ever any questions that I had for Wilcox, she was my life-line to relay any pertinent information that needed to be addressed in a timely manner. I have also gotten to know the RCA team (the mini clinic on the other side for the IVF / out-patient procedure area). The LVN Marta was so kind and was my emotional support person while I underwent some procedures. Nurse Melissa was cheerful, and full of joy as she tended to me not only intra-operatively, but also post-operatively. After trusting the process and the plan that Dr. Wilcox had generated for me, we are happy to report that our greatest dream of becoming a bigger family has come true! I know there is still a lot of steps to be taken before completing our time there; but if you're looking to have a baby in your future, I would recommend no one else other than Dr. Wilcox and his team to help you on your journey. They're truly is no better feeling! read more

Success on first retrieval and first transfer! Our infertility journey spanned over 4 years with different methods such as traditional medicine and natural homeopathic ways. We had two miscarriages with one being potentially life-threatening before we decided to go with IVF at Dr. Wilcox's practice. I had stage 4 endometriosis while my hushand had low morphology and we were close to 40 years old. And just one round of IVF, Dr. Wilcox got us healthy embryos and now, we have a healthy and beautiful baby in our hands! The entire process from retrieval to transfer to the pregnancy and labor was smooth. Shout-out to the nurses especially Rachel H. (Rachel Hernandez or her former maiden name Rachel Ducut)! She held our hands through all our emotional baggages, doubts and pain and became our friend when we needed it most. Thank you Teresa as well for always answering my emails. Dr. Wilcox is one of the most confident doctors I have ever met as there was never a question within his field that he could not immediately answer. Trust me, we asked many questions! He knows what he is doing and we love that he has an obssesion with making babies! It is definitely his passion and calling! Some reviews said they wish he did more hand holding throughout the process. I feel that Dr. Wilcox is more of a result-driven top expert while his nurses do more of the comforting and answering of numerous emails. However, I remember I felt tingling in my toes while pregnant one day and I was afraid that it was a blood clot so I sent an email to Dr. Wilcox and team on a Sunday and he called me immediately! As we are holding our healthy, cheerful and beautiful 3-month-old baby in our arms, we are filled with gratitude and respect for Dr. Wilcox and his team. Thank you and may you continue to help many people fulfill their dreams as well. read more

Couldn't be happier with our experience with Dr. Wilcox and staff, especially his fabulous nurse Cynthia. He is kind, while giving you the facts and reality you need to hear throughout this rollercoaster of a process. My husband and I had tried for a year to get pregnant and started our ART journey at Cedars with no success after a couple cycles and not a ton of guidance or real facts about what other options were and could be ahead. We switched to Dr. Wilcox at HRC, and after one full IUI cycle under his recommended protocol we're over the moon to be pregnant with our 1st baby. I know how lucky we are for our journey to be successful so quickly, but am 100% sure we wouldn't be in this overjoyed boat as quickly without having made this switch to Dr. Wilcox and team. As far as fertility clinics go, they were the most transparent I found regarding the process and pricing all around. Our nurse Cynthia was phenomenal and made us feel so comforted and guided through every step with her detailed approach and lovely spirit! Dr. McDaniel patiently and thoroughly explained our options, and we chose to pursue IVF treatment. Under Dr. McDaniel's care, we had the smoothest IVF process! With only one round of egg retrieval, we were able to create the exact number of healthy embryos recommended (two embryos for every desired child). The embryo transfer was a breeze, and I am currently 11w5d along. It broke my heart a little to "graduate" to my obstetrician because I have felt so safe and cared for with Dr. McDaniel. She invested so much heart and time and energy into our journey to parenthood. You will never find a more kind, patient, or capable reproductive endocrinologist than Dr. McDaniel. She provides top-tier care at a time when your heart needs it the most. You are in excellent hands with her.

I would highly recommend Dr. McDaniel to anyone looking for expert care delivered with warmth and intention.

Coincidentally, it happened to be same clinic my friends were going to and where Dr. Ghadhir is a specialist. I chose Dr. Akopians because I live closer to Pasadena and couldn't be more satisfied. She is phenomenal - professional, patient, warm without the BS. I felt like I was in good hands. I felt heard during initial consultation and never rushed during my appointments in office. Pasadena location also had the best clinical team and I appreciated them more after having to go to the Beverly Hills location 2x. Pasadena location has almost no wait time, the clinical team answers all your questions quickly, and the staff always greeted me with the warmest smile. I went for 3 cycles and only got IUI once (during the 3rd cycle). Results and the journey will vary with each person, but if you are curious, I'm 31 weeks pregnant with healthy twin boys. I am very grateful to Dr. Akopians and the nurses (Mariam & Sophie).

Dr. Molly Quinn -- A True Miracle Maker at HRC Fertility Pasadena…read more I came to Dr. Molly Quinn with an AMH level of 0.1 -- an extremely low ovarian reserve -- and most doctors would have turned me away. Even knowing how difficult my case was, Dr. Quinn didn't dismiss my hope. She respected my determination, guided me step by step, and used her best medical judgment throughout the process. With her extraordinary expertise, we were able to succeed -- something that truly felt like a miracle. I'm 39, and in my family we're two sisters; my older sister never had a child, so everyone was counting on me. Thanks to Dr. Quinn's patience and skill, she brought joy and hope to all of us. The egg-retrieval surgery, which I had feared the most, turned out to be the easiest part -- completely painless and smooth because of her gentle, precise technique. I had no pain, no bleeding, and no discomfort afterward. I'm now preparing for my next round next month, deeply grateful to continue this journey with Dr. Quinn and her wonderful nurse Chen, who was always patient and supportive. Dr. Quinn truly made the impossible possible, and I'll forever be thankful for her compassion and expertise.

My wife had lots of questions and anxiety in general and Molly was able to be clear, concise and thorough to be able to call her down through each stage of treatment. In the end we were lucky enough to become pregnant and it is without a doubt in mind that this was because of the care and hard work from Molly and her excellent team at HRC. We can't thank her enough for bringing us a baby girl into this world. 5/5 - I would go through a pregnancy journey again with Molly and Josephine any day. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

At 43 years old, this pregnancy means more to me than I can put into words. Dr. Llarena was extremely thoughtful and precise throughout the entire process.
