Dr. Jick is the worlds best OB! Dr. Jick is hands down the best ob I've ever used. In fact, I drive 45 -1 hour just to see him! When you first meet him he will shine in bed side manor. Dr. Jick actually listens to your concerns and follows up with what you need. He has recommended other doctors that were needed after my appointment that knew about my specific condition. Since initially meeting Dr Jick I have delivered three times with him. I'm high risk being a little person needing three separate C-sections. My initial wish was that I wasn't his first little person, and I wasn't! He has a very quirky personality that can't help but make you smile. When it comes to caring for your body he makes sure that you know he really cares. I wish I could give him 10 stars, he's definitely my favorite. The staff is always very polite, Claudia usually works closely with him and she is nothing but endearing. The office is very clean, he stays very booked, so make sure you plan ahead. My incisions are basically invisible after they heeled. I can't put into words how great this guy is. I'm writing this review after almost a year. Last year of November I switched to Dr. Jick from a female OB-GYN, and let me tell you, it's the best decision I've made! He's very knowledgeable, kind and caring. He listens to you and respects your decisions. He did an amazing job on the ex-lap for my ovarian tumor that he performed on me. My recovery was smooth and the stitched was perfectly done. He was also kind enough to email me a medical certificate because I needed it to cancel my travel plans. Couldn't ask for a better OB GYN! Dr Jick comes highly recommended. I moved to Pasadena from West Hollywood and was under the best care from an amazing Beverly Hills OBGYN. I realized that driving an hour for appointments is ridiculous so I needed to find a good OBGYN in town. I got pregnant but had a very early miscarriage at 3wks, my fiancé is a doctor and his doctor referred Dr Jick. I called their office and the front desk staff was so rude, no compassion when I was suffering. Health care should be all about compassion. She told me I can't see the doctor for this reason or even a check up until 3mths, June 23rd. My fiancée Doc's office said try again. So I called again a few hours later and this girl was slightly nicer Raquel, but still was told I couldn't see the doctor unless I'm actually pregnant and I can't see him to get checked. If you consider my situation, I had my first ever miscarriage, or pregnant being for this matter, my hormones are going crazy. I'm clueless to what's going on and I can't see a doctor to get checked. I ended up driving to Beverly Hills and got checked by my doctor a few days later when I felt better. My fiancé tells me to make that appointment end of June anyways so I have one just in case. The following week I call again to tell Raquel (front desk) I'll take the June 23rd app. She questions me again as though she doesn't remember me; asking if I'm pregnant and he can't see me unless I'm pregnant. Also, now they don't have any opening until September! I asked; "so in one week you booked up until September?" She couldn't answer me, just said 'yes we're very busy.' I tell her, I need to gel with the doctor too, this isn't a one way street, I need to meet Dr Jick and see if he's the right doctor for me as well. She still said she can't help me. I'm wondering if the doctor is aware of how poorly people are being treated from the front desk staff? I've never had this situation before and I know the best Doctors. He's 'meh' at best. He was 40 minutes late to the appointment. Typical with most male doctors, but he was dismissive of my symptoms. He hears my cycles were on time and then stopped listening to anything else. I told him about the rapid weight gain and he was silly enough to respond with "maybe it's muscle". He was so quick to tell me to go see another doctor. For the love of God, humor me and pretend to care about my symptoms. Sometimes I don't get such men choose this field of medicine when they have no clue what goes on with a woman's body on a day to day basis. read more

After extensive research into OBs specializing in high risk pregnancies, my wife and I decided upon Dr. Jick. This was one of the best decisions we made throughout the pregnancy. Somehow this man runs a sizable business with multiple doctors under him, has a full load of patients and deliveries, and manages to treat patients as if he had all the time in the world. His sincere care and compassionate professionalism set him apart. After my wife spent several months on full bed rest with weekly ultrasounds, we got to know Dr. Jick and his staff quite well. The ultrasound techs Rachel and Grace were so wonderful. Dr. Park and Dr. Wu were comforting and deeply helpful in the office and hospital. On a holiday Dr. Jick came in to do an emergency C-section to deliver our identical twin boys. The mood in the operating room was peaceful and warm--a dynamic I never would have anticipated. Although our boys came quite early, they have done great in the NICU. We are deeply grateful and do not have enough good things to say about this man and the care he and his staff provided. read more

Found out he's also the Doc for two other acquaintances; one of which said he delivered all three of her children and she considers Dr. Jick family, and the second of which is a doctor herself. I mean if Dr. Jick is a doctor's doctor, you know he's passed the test! I heard he was also the Chairman of the Board for Huntington - not sure if that is still true. Dr. Jick is a walking OB/Gyn encyclopedia. As person, he has the best disposition for an OB. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with questions. I have left a message for Dr. Jick during the day and have received a call back from him within the hour. I literally have never had a doctor do that. Dr. Jick's level of service, bedside manner, and knowledge base are stellar. I cannot recommend him and FOWH enough. His office, FOWH, is a very well run office. The entire staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Jick was my OB for both pregnancies and even among all those prenatal appointments I was never kept waiting long for my appointment. If there is ever a wait of more than 10 to 15 minutes, they will let you know. This is not an OB office where you have the "waiting room" and then a second anteroom where you wait half an hour or more for your doctor. In all my prenatal visits between the two pregnancies, I think I had to wait longer than 10 minutes maybe 3 times which is pretty stellar considering how a OB/gyn practice usually runs. Labs, ultrasounds, and NST are also done in the same suite which is a time saver. The practice also has a 24/7 on call service which is VERY nice to have because with pregnancies one doesn't often know what's OK and what might be an emergency. It's so nice to be able to call the OB on call and get some advice on what to do and whether to go to the hospital if it's after hours. I have also seen Dr. Mitri once when Dr. Jick was on vacation and spoke with him a few times he was the on call doctor. He is also a great OB and I recommend him as well. read more

I have been coming here for years and the staff is ultra friendly. They always seem to have a connection with the women coming in and out of the facility. I love Diane. Whenever I go in, I always see her. She is quite knowledgeable and totally takes my concerns as her own and tries to give the best advice and information back. I have yet to meet either Dr. Chang or Dr. Jick (unfortunately my work schedule is all over the place so it conflicts with theirs)! My mother sees Dr. Jick and from what I hear from her and others, they are both amazing doctors. Definitely worth being checked out at. read more

My wife and I went to see Dr Jick for my wife's OBGYN needs and after we learned my wife is pregnant with our first baby (girl). Although we are ordinary patient, my wife did need to see Dr Jick for some special testing and operation to ensure everything is fine. Dr Jick was more than just a good doctor from medical standpoint. He made us comfortable when we had questions regarding any uncertainties that my wife has. Sometime I even feel bad when thinking back about the questions we raised because they are just so routine, and overly concerned. but Dr Jick never neglected our concerns but provided full answers to ensure how things will go and why my wife's body reacts in certain ways. 3 month into my wife's pregnancy, I was sent by my company for an extended oversee assignment and my wife and I had to relocate. It was an extremely sad moment when My wife know that she will no longer see Dr Jick and deliver our first baby here in the States. After we left, we continued to follow up with Dr Jick with medical testing and records request. Dr Jick always replied within short time. Overall, I really appreciate how Dr Jick made us comfortable and he demonstrated quality care and understanding. Dr Jick also squeezed his busy schedule one time to see my wife due to an event that needed a timely resolution. We now live in China and the standards of care (in pretty much everything) is sub-human when compared to how Dr Jick and his staff had treated us. When we return, we hope to see Dr Jick again if we are pregnant with our 2nd baby. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Jick's for about 4 years now and he just delivered my daughter in May via c-section. Even before I was pregnant, and even more so during/after, I have always had a pleasant experience at his office. His staff is friendly, professional and he is patient, kind and explains things in layman terms. I went into labor over Memorial Day weekend and was worried he would not be there. I literally cried from relief when he showed up as they were prepping me for my unplanned c-section. The surgery went smoothly and I've recovered extremely well (so I've been told by others who have had c-sections). While in the hospital, even all the nurses commented on how great my stitches looked. Throughout my pregnancy I was extremely calm and never felt worried/scared and I thank Dr. Jick for that. I knew I was in excellent hands and need not worry. There is a reason why all of my friends either go to or know of him, the practice and the other doctors there - they are the best in town! read more

Prior to going to Dr. Jick, I was very unhappy with my first OBGYN. I was 15 weeks pregnant with my first baby before I decided to switch, so I was very nervous and apprehensive. Like you, I was searching for online reviews to find myself a good doctor. I wanted my first birth experience to be a good one. Dr. Jick was a dream! The first moment I met him I felt at ease. He exudes confidence without being intimidating. He has a very good heart and I felt that he truly cared for my well being. I had a high-risk pregnancy and I never doubted that I was in good hands. He also referred me to see another OBGYN for a second opinion just so I feel better about everything. To me, that showed his professionalism and that he is not an arrogant doctor. Dr. JIck never rushed our appointments, he always made sure that all my questions were answered and I never felt I asked stupid questions. My pregnancy went smoother than expected and I now have a beautiful baby girl. I will not hesitate to refer my friends to Dr. Jick. His office staff were wonderful. I never had problems with getting appointments and the wait was never an issue. Rachel who did my SONO was wonderful as well. The office environment is modern, new and clean. He's one of the best doctors I've ever had. He is very bright and knowledgeable yet is willing to acknowledge his limits. I have a lot of trust in his judgement which I can't say for most physicians I encounter. When I was pregnant I tried to interview OB's to change from the OB I had and hated to a new one but he was the only one willing to meet. Once I met with him I was sure he was the right doc for me. I have since sent others to him that love him equally as well. And whenever I need to find another specialist I always ask Dr. Jick for the doctors he recommends because I know any one he likes I will like as well. read more

This review is WAY overdue...so I had gone to Dr Jick for my first 2 pregnancies, had very easy/no issue pregnancies and loved him, so I went back to him when I was pregnant with my 3rd. All was well until my 20 week check-up when Rachel, the ultrasound tech, noticed that there was a tumor growing on the placenta (chorianginoma). This is where the true colors of Dr Jick and his staff came through. I was seen every 2 weeks for ultrasounds until the 32nd week when Rachel, once again excelling at her job, found an issue associated with the tumor. We knew I wasn't going to make it to term, so Claudia, dr Jicks nurse, came into work on her day off on a Saturday and gave me a steroid shot to help my baby's lungs develop. Today, my daughter is 18 months, healthy and happy as can be and I owe it completely to this amazing dr and his even more amazing staff. Rachel is very very very very good and if she had missed that tiny tumor at our 20 week appt my daughter probably wouldn't be with us today. read more

This will be the first negative review on Dr. Jick. I will be objective and give you the reasons why. As you have read, the doctor has a near spotless review. But as each patient is different, the treatment for each patient is also different. My wife and I did not have a good experience at Dr. Jick's office. First, as a perspective new patient, you should know how Dr. Jick's office schedules appointments. You are required to schedule 2 visits before even being able to see the doctor on the third visit. The first visit will be with their nurse at around 6-8 weeks. During this visit, you fill out and provide your medical history, then the nurse gives you information regarding the pregnancy and answers your initial questions. The second visit is for the ultrasound at around 8-10 weeks. Then finally, you will be allowed to schedule your first visit with Dr. Jick at around 10-12 weeks. How far along you are will determine when you get scheduled for these three appointments. Every patient is different so you will be scheduled accordingly. If you ask "what's wrong with having to schedule 3 separate appointments"? The answer is nothing if you don't mind paying into your medical deductible for each of the visits and not being able to see your doctor until the third visit. This was our first pregnancy and we didn't know any better. You will be charged for each visits accordingly. After sharing our initial experience with other friends, everyone thought that was unusual as they were able to see their doctor and/or do ultrasounds on their first or second visits. Thus saving the costs of having to pay for extra appointments that may or may not be necessary. So, after thinking about it, we realized that Dr. Jick's office scheduling procedure was not for us. Unfortunately, we ending up losing the baby. Beyond not agreeing with the scheduling policy, the following is the main reason why we can not recommend Dr. Jick. During the visit that we found out that the pregnancy was not going well, we had a roller coaster ride of emotions. We had a lot of questions and we were scared. During Dr. Jick's explanation to us on our available options, I made the mistake of asking a question. Immediately, he stopped his explanation and slammed me pretty hard on interrupting his speech. I found that to be extremely heartless and unprofessional. He may disagree, but my wife noticed his change in tone as well. By this time, we both felt sick to our stomachs. But in instead of objecting, we allowed Dr. Jick to finish as this was alot to take in all at once. While still in his office, our first reaction to each other was not "what do you think we should do", but rather we asked each other, "how do you feel about Dr. Jick's attitude". I found it surprising that my wife's first reaction was not how she felt, rather "how did you feel about Dr. Jick"? When a pregnant woman has just been told the pregnancy is not going well and her first reaction is not about the health of the baby but rather about the doctor, that is the first sign that the doctor is not a good match. Perhaps Dr. Jick was having an extra busy day. I'm sure he cares deeply for his practice and his patients. But for us on this unfortunate day, we just wished Dr. Jick's bedside manners were a little more kindler and gentler, especially in front of my wife. Dr. Jick can slam me as hard as he wants, I've got a pretty thick skin. But no matter how a conversation goes with the patient or family member, it is simply not acceptable to share any negative side in front of any woman during such an emotional and uncertain time. We ending up getting a second opinion and having medical attention taken care of with another doctor. It's been over 2 months and there has not been any follow up call or email to my wife from Dr. Jick's office about how she's doing and what happened to the pregnancy. The only communication we got from his office were the "Bills". So, that basically tells us we were an after thought... absolutely no follow up, nothing. You will read other reviews that are contrary to ours and that is fine. Dr. Jick did not do anything wrong ethically or medically, we just disagree with how we were treated. We thought there should be a review sharing another experience so that you can make an informed judgement on which doctor to choose. If you end up choosing Dr. Jick, we hope that your experience is much better than ours. read more

And another update! Just went through my third pregnancy and delivery with Dr Jick and this amazing team. I had a 3rd c-section with Dr Jick. I needed to be delivered at 37 weeks and Dr Jick came in on the morning he was leaving for his vacation just so he could do my C-section. He knew how disappointed I would have been to have anyone else delivering my third, esp my third c-section. Everything went perfectly. This man is a master at flawless deliveries. You can barely even see my scar, and I have had three. He is just a very kind, caring, and attentive doctor. He just cares about you and the health of your baby. I just can't say enough great things about him and his entire office. read more

First, I'd like to say that I'd highly recommend Dr. Jick!!!! :-) This was my first pregnancy at 38 yrs. old, and I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Jck and his staff. My entire experience with Dr. Jick and his entire staff has been excellent!! :-) He was my OBGYN for my entire pregnancy. Dr. Jick is very professional, knowledgable, easy to talk to, explains things thoroughly, he never makes you feel rushed, and always responds to his emails in less than 24 hours. In addition, Dr. Jick made sure that I was closely monitored throughout my entire pregnancy because I was high risk. Diane, the nurse practitioner, and Rachel, the ultra sound tech, are also fantastic! The front office girls are also terrific, especially Griselda. In addition, I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointments. One of my favorite things about going to Dr. Jick's is that his office also provides other services like ultra sounds, blood work, non-fetal stress tests, and pregnancy massages, which is fantastic so you don't have to go to a bunch of different locations. For those of you that are interested or are terrified of having a csection and want to know what it's like, my experience of having a scheduled csection was fantastic! My csection was performed at Huntington Memorial and Dr. Jick performed my csection with Dr. Fong's assistance, who is another OBGYN, from Fair Oaks Women's Health. The whole procedure took about an hour long from beginning till end. i was given a spinal tap, which I was terrified of getting, but it honestly felt like a small pinch. I could barely feel it. In fact, it was a lot less painful than when the nurse had put the IV into me ( IV's feel similar to having your blood drawn). The next morning and every morning before I was discharged Dr. Jick came in to check on me at the hospital. The total time spent at Huntington Memorial was 5 days and 4 nights. I can't thank Dr. Jick and Dr. Fong enough for the awesome job they did with my csection, and of course for bringing my beautiful baby boy safely into this world :-) ( I could've gone to a closer hospital and OBGYN in my area, but Dr. Jick was recommended to me by my husband's co-worker, who's an ER doctor, and had two of her children delivered by Dr. Jick by csection as well.) Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better OBGYN! So, mommies to be, if you're looking for a new OBGYN look no further.....I did lots of research before choosing Dr. Jick and read lots f reviews online, etc....FYI, I just had my csection 11 days ago :-) so this should tell you how awesome of a job Dr. Jick and Dr. Fong did with my surgery since I feel good enough to be able to write this Yelp review. read more

I would highly recommend Dr. Jick. He was referred to me by my GYN Dr. Pushkin in Santa Monica because I moved to the Pasadena area and I was not familiar with any OBGYNs in the area. Im so happy to have found Dr. Jick. He delivered my 2 girls, both via c-section, due to uterine fibroids. Both c-sections went great with minimal scarring. He also removed the fibroids. For my 2nd c-section, he also performed a tubal ligation. All went smoothly. Im so grateful for my healthy and happy girls. Dr. Jick is authentic and will always give his honest opinion. He has many patients, so he may not remember the small details of your last visit, but he always keeps track of what counts and records everything on paper. Dr. Jick is knowledgable, professional, kind, and makes you feel at ease. His staff is amazing. I love Rachel, the ultrasound tech. She is so nice and explains everything. Love this staff and doctor! I started coming to this office in 2005, but was seeing another doctor that ended up leaving the practice. I moved over to Dr. Jick just as I found out there was a bun in the oven! He is professional, personable, and conscientious about the patient's needs. He is very knowledgeable and I love that he is all about using the technology that's out there to help his patients (website, email, etc.) He delivered my baby via c-section without a hitch (the hitch was the kid being a stubborn kid so early on that caused the c-section), and made us feel as important as we were on that day. The Ultrasound Technician (Rachel) is also really great. She's friendly and easy to talk to, and seems genuinely happy for the good news she gets to deliver. The office staff are just as friendly, and not to worry that if you can't get in to see Dr. Jick, you can see Diane G. instead. She is a wonderful, knowledgeable, warm Nurse Practitioner who I see now for annual exams instead of Dr. Jick. Love her! If you are coming here for your pregnancy, they will treat you well, and genuinely care for you and your baby. They return phone calls usually the same day, and I'm sure email as well although that is a newer offering of the office. They also give referrals to pediatricians from which we found our current doctor, Dr. Gokey @ Rose City Pediatrics (love her, too!). The office is clean, quiet, and yes, mostly always busy since they are so GOOD! The wait has never been excessive in my experience, so they are able to keep up. I highly reccomend this practice and this doctor for your needs, and continue to see them even though I now live 20 miles away! read more

We just delivered our first child-- a beautiful baby girl-- and we are so grateful to have been in Dr. Jick's care for the last 10 months. Around eight weeks pregnant, I had a serious bleeding episode late on a Sunday night. I had only taken a home pregnancy test and not confirmed my pregnancy with the doctor yet. I called Dr. Jick and left a message explaining the situation. He called me back in less than three minutes. He was very caring over the phone, asked a few questions, listened attentively and put me on bed rest for the night. He asked me to come in first thing the next morning for an ultrasound to see whether the baby was ok. When we went in for the ultrasound, Dr. Jick was kind, compassionate and also honest. While he explained the risks and the statistics, he did so in a way that was clear he was rooting for us. During a very stressful event when I was very worried and scared, Dr. Jick made me feel like I was not in it alone. His bedside manner is outstanding. He has a great way of keeping you calm through his demeanor. I felt such a strong bond with him and a deep sense of trust. Luckily everything was ok, so we started seeing Dr. Jick for our regular prenatal visits. Here's what I love about Dr. Jick and why I would recommend him: 1) Although he's in high demand and incredibly busy, he spends time with you on every visit so that you feel you are his top priority. 2) He is well-versed in the latest research and very knowledgeable about different perspectives associated with medical debates/trends. He's always forthright with his opinion, but it is one that is always well considered and researched. You know you are working with an expert in his field. 3) He is very attentive to a first-time mother's myriad of questions -- even when I had read ridiculous things on the internet, Dr. Jick had a great way of helping me sift through the information/ misinformation without making me feel silly for asking. 4) He obviously loves what he does. He brings a joy to his work. Every time Dr. Jick walks into the examination room, he's genuinely excited for you and your partner. 5) He cares. He really does. He pays attention to you and seeks to promote your physical and emotional well being. By the time I was 39 weeks, my cervix was almost fully effaced. Dr. Jick let me know that I most likely would have a fast labor and that the moment I felt contractions, I needed to come into the hospital. It happened just as he predicted - I woke up at 1:30 in the morning with my first contraction and delivered our beautiful baby girl at 2:53 am. Unfortunately due to my crazy fast labor, the doctor on call had to deliver our daughter. While I was disappointed that it was not Dr. Jick in the delivery room, he had prepared me to understand what was going on. He's just great. I highly recommend him. read more

I've been meaning to write a review about Dr. Jick, and Claudia, and FOWH for nearly four years, but man, these kids I've got keep me busy!! My first son is three now, and while Dr. Jick wasn't able to deliver him, his colleague did, and she was wonderful and the birth was routine and beautiful. No drama. Super awesome. Fast forward to December of last year, when my second son was born, and while my pregnancy was easy-peasy (other than the being enormous part), delivery got a bit nuts when my kiddo wouldn't descend into the birth canal after 12 hours of labor. At this point, it was 8 PM, and poor Dr. Jick had twins to deliver in another room, and I can assure you, ladies, that 99% of OBs would've told me it was time for a C-Section and popped the baby out by 8:15 PM. Dr. Jick knew I wanted a vaginal birth, and knew it was important to me, so he prepped me for a C-section and broke my water in the operating room so he could do an emergency surgery if there happened to be cord prolapse. There were doctors and nurses cheering and clapping when my son's head descended normally into the canal, and I was able to deliver my little guy vaginally a couple hours later around 1 AM. It was the craziest and most amazing medical experience of my life, and I thank Dr. Jick (in my head) for his patience and creativity every day. Although birthing is probably the most important part of any OB's job, I've spent way more time in Dr. Jick's office for routine tests, exams, blood work, and all the rest. Claudia is incredibly patient and kind -- she always calls me back promptly, and pretends she thinks I'm funny. And even Dr. Jick's in-house lab techs draw blood better than anywhere else (no bruises! no pain!). Most importantly, compared to all my other doctors, Dr. Jick's office runs ON TIME. I've never been stranded in the waiting room longer than 20 minutes, which is rare, I can assure you. All in all, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Jick and FOWH. Dr. Jick saw me through a really difficult pregnancy. Without his care and guidance, the outcome might have been devastating, but we have two beautiful, healthy twins as proof that we chose the right ob/gyn. Throughout the entire pregnancy he was warm and compassionate, even during the times when the news seemed bleak. If you think you are having multiples or that you might have a troubled pregnancy (or both!), I highly recommend Dr. Jick. I've spent years searching for the perfect OBGYN and I finally found him, Dr Jick. I actually interviewed several doctors and chose him to help me through the process of pregnancy to birth. He delivered by baby girl a few weeks ago and it was a complicated birth that ultimately ended with an emergency caesarean that saved my baby girl's life. She would have never made it out had we continued and if it wasn't for him and his quick thinking, calm demeanor and incredible skill, I would not have a healthy and perfect little girl in my arms right now as I write this review. Not only is Dr Jick incredible during labor & delivery, but he was extremely responsive during my pregnancy. I was first time mom and had a lot of questions, he always took the time to answer them for me, quickly responded to my emails or even a good old fashioned phone call when I needed it. Dr Jick and his entire staff are incredibly warm, kind and very helpful. I trust him with my life and I look forward to having another baby delivered by him in the coming years. I have only had a couple of appointments with Dr. Jick, when he was filling in for my doctor, Dr Mitri. I love Dr. Jick. He has many years of experience, and he's not afraid to be opinionated when I ask him for an informed opinion. When I had some concerns about my recovery from csection at Huntington Hospital, he totally had my back and advocated on my behalf, which was exactly what I needed as a post-partum hormonal mess. He is always up to date on technology and procedures, and he is always willing to answer questions and explain his approach. He has delivered all of my children, and through it all there have been some really awesome highs and some really devastating lows. I've been on a search for a good obgyn after a horrible experience i had with another dr. It just seemed that finding a knowledgable doctor that would care for his/her patients more than their money plus a friendly staff was a dream that was never gonna come true! Only until I found dr. Jick. he is a great doctor, he is very nice and actually spends time with you and makes sure that all your questions are answered and that you have fully understood everything that's going on, I just had my forth appt with him and I know that my search is over... Our family has known Dr. Jick and his staff for over 20 years! He delivered all three of my children which included my twins that are now 13 years old. My oldest daughter (whom he delivered over 19 years ago) is now a patient of Dr. Jick. Dr. Jick fought hard to have a surgery that my daughter needed covered by our insurance. Dr. Jick is amazing. U will be hard to find another doctor with more experience, better bedside manner and more compassion. He has always treated me with the upmost respect and has never been dismissive during my high risk and high maintenance pregnancy. He takes his time and really cares about his clients. He is very sincere and calm. The practice is very popular and busy. I have had 3 friends who have delivered with Dr. Mitri and love him as well. I have good things about Dr. Parks too. I personally have not had much of an issue with waiting and scheduling. There is a reason why the practice is so popular and busy and they are right next to the hospital. Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I always looked forward to our OB appointments with him, his support staff (nurses, ultrasound techs, and office staff) were friendly and efficient. LOVE Dr. Jick. He's super busy, but makes u feel like ur his only patient. He came highly recommended by a friend who delivered twice with him by C Section. Her scarring was super minimal. He's also a very good surgeon. I delivered my first child with him 8 months ago, and i can not wait to deliver again. My entire experience from beginning to end was better than I could have imagined. Dr. Jick and his staff are amazing. I interviewed several doctors when trying to have my second child. In fact I must have seen over 20 in total since I was high risk, 39 and had several miscarriages after my 1st daughter. I found out I was pregnant with twins and decided to go to Dr. Jick to care for me and my twins. It was the best decision. He took great care of me, Rachel the ultrasound guru was great as well. She knew how scary this pregnancy was for me and she was always cheery, positive and quick to tell me she saw the babies heartbeats so I could breathe again. I have to say, I heard his office may be busy but I was there at least every 2 weeks, sometimes every week since I had twins cooking and never had to wait long at all. Dr. Jick does respond to e-mails even on Saturdays and has a great bedside manner. He assembled the best team at the hospital to deliver my twins. He left nothing to chance and I was so grateful to go 1 week shy of full term and that my babies came out perfect and did not have to go to the NICU. I could go on and on . Bottomline, my identical twins are my miracle babies that were conceived naturally at age 39. After all that I had been through, I had a happy ending and Dr. Jick was a big part of making that happen. read more
