Dr. Bui and Dr. Mitri filled in for our regular OBGYN from FOWH when she was out on vacay. They got us through a 50-hour failed induction turned c-section and delivered our son on 7/8! They did the c-section together, but Dr. Bui was the one we saw the most in the hospital. Dr. Mitri came to check on us during the induction process and he officially checked us out of the hospital, too. He was super nice and informative and made sure we had all of our concerns addressed. He made a very stressful and scary situation feel less dramatic, which was much appreciated by us - two first time parents! Thank you for getting our son here safe and sound!

Thank you Dr. Mitri for assisting me with a healthy 5yd boy.

Getting a hold of someone whenever I have questions have never been easier. Not only do they pickup the phone call in a timely manner, but I was never in a longer hold. A few instances happened when they were busy, but that's understandable. I am always able to message them through my portal. Anything urgent, they are on top of it. Luckily I only had 2 events when this happened. From getting my labs to any test I needed, this clinic had been a breeze! I've called several other clinics before finding out about FOWH and the rest either never pickup or they're so disorganized and unhelpful during a phone consult. The sonographers that we've had were always kind, timely and helpful. We have had some questions and they're so wonderful in addressing them. Biggest shoutout to our Dr. Mitri. He is empathetic, highly knowledgeable and is just a good human being. He pays attention to every detail, he doesn't miss any question we have and he's very good at responding to our out-of-office messages/questions. His bedside manners are exceptional. He is respectful, has a good sense of humor and does his job really well. We're so happy to be a patient at FOWH and we appreciate the staff for being great! We look forward to every visit we have.

I then had to pay for an HSG and a hysteroscopy to assess the damage. I am indeed missing my right fallopian tube. I was told they'd reimburse me for those, but I'd have to submit it through insurance. I can't bring myself to go through this process. So I'm posting my experience as a warning to other women. This botched procedure was performed on NYE of 2024, and I still have pain. I still feel intense anger when I think about how the doctor chuckled that I'd still be able to get pregnant through IVF when I was crying that I was worried I'd never be able to get pregnant again.

She listens to your concerns, is extremely knowledgeable and has amazing bedside manner. Let's face it, no one jumps for joy over the idea of getting a pap - and some of us have had downright traumatic experiences in the past - but with Dr. Chang you can rest assured that it will be a breeze! It was over before I even knew it and it didn't even feel the least bit uncomfortable. She will also perform an ultrasound to ensure that your ovaries and uterus are structurally sound and there's no underlying issues which is a nice touch, especially since you don't need to schedule another visit solely for this as it's done in office by Dr.Chang herself! I'm so glad to have found her - a good OBGYN that makes you feel safe and comfortable is so hard to find these days but Dr. Chang is proof that they still exist!

On the first day I was in hospital for scheduled induction, she had 24-hour duty, went home to sleep and didnt return till i was into 37 hours on Pitocin. She poked my water without my permission, and caused me infection and my baby heart rate dropped into dangerous situations where I could only accept C section. She scolded me not to cry before entering the operation room, not worthy of crying?! while my life and my baby's life were in her hands. Only for a couple hundred dollars more, she wants a surgery instead of natural birth. For an insurance covered procedure, she lied to me its cosmetic, I paid her cash and extra. Later, both Blue Shield and Optum confirmed she never billed. After I asked my money back, she claimed through insurance. Don't even think twice, go find another doctor.

I will caveat that perhaps your experience with this provider depends on the reason for your visit. For me, it was one and done with Dr. Fong, not in a good way. I met with Dr. Fong about 2 years ago for women's health as I was looking for a new gynecologist and also going through egg freezing at the time. I had been going to Fair Oaks Women's Health already and was switching providers because my previous provider left. I was older (around 40 years old) and had been diagnosed with low ovarian reserve (DOR). During my meeting with Dr. Fong, her comments made me feel like all of my fertility problems were due to my older age. I understand there is some truth to that, but she did not offer any other explanations. I came away feeling like "oh, what did you expect because you're old," and I felt shamed for being older. Granted, she never said that directly to me, but that was the tone. I felt dismissed during my appointment. She also made me feel like I should not expect to freeze too many eggs because of my DOR. While I understood it would be difficult and not to have high expectations, I was still hoping for ways to improve my egg freezing results. She gave me little to no hope. Well, I ended up going to acupuncture and taking herbs (which she did say could be helpful) and (after only freezing 5 eggs total across two rounds at age 39) froze 6 more eggs at age 41 in one cycle. Even worse, I got some bloodwork done, and it came back that my TSH was unusually low although my free T4 was fine. She offered no explanation and diagnosed me with sub clinical hyperthyroidism when I have no history of thyroid problems. In fact, I started seeing a Chinese medicine doctor for my fertility issues. I happened to mention my hyperthyroidism diagnosis, and he immediately asked me what supplements I was taking. It turns out that I was taking too many (didn't know that was possible!). He recommended supplements to cut out, and sure enough, my thyroid functioning returned to normal. I should mention that I specifically listed all of my supplements on my appointment form with Dr. Fong because I knew I was taking quite a few for fertility. It was particularly sad because I was excited to have a doctor with a similar ethnic background and came away very disappointed. I have fortunately since found another provider at FOWH, but I did not return for a while after such a negative experience. She seems to be good as an OB, but based on my experience, I would not recommend her to anyone no matter what the reason for their visit.

I feel compelled to express my utter dismay for this most recent visit/experience dated 4/2/2026. My last visit was 11/2025. In all my years dealing with Dr. Park, she and Maria would administer the pallet insertion at Dr. Park's very high fee no matter who was doing it. Each pallet ranged between 30-60 dollars-so my bills previously would be well over 500.00 per visit. In every past visit as far back as the beginning of time, her insertion fee was 350.00. On 11/18/2025, I paid her 350.00 insertion fee and the same usual pallet fees of 200.00 for a grand total of 550.00 every 4 months or so. At no time between my last appointment and the completion of this appointment 4/2/2026 was I ever informed of rate increases and pallet increases. I feel deeply disgusted by this shock that came over me upon paying after the pallets were inserted by Dr Park. At no time was I called or told: the insertion fees have increased by 50.00; pallet fees increased each by 5 dollars; & at no time was I informed that another doctor in the office now performs the insertion for 25 dollars less than what Dr. Park charges. Had I been provided this information before my appointment, I would have made very different decisions about even visiting with Dr. Park at all. I wasn't afforded that opportunity and I resent being treated this way after many years of being Dr. Park's patient. For one thing, I may have decided to go elsewhere to a less expensive clinic in a different county entirely, I would have at the very least asked to see the other doctor, whose name suddenly appeared on my most recent invoice as "jennifer-375.00/Park-400.00" which had never appeared in previous invoices. Again, Maria who used to administer for Dr Park was the same exact charge of 350.00. During this most recent visit, I even went down a full dose of one of the pallets, saving myself that charge of an extra 50 dollars. I got to the counter and I was expecting my bill to be 550.00 minus 50.00 for a pallet I didn't use but instead the invoice presented to me was 610.00!!!! I was in shock, not being given the change or notified ahead of the rate increases and different options to take. At the very least they should compensate me for that up-charge for not informing me before entering this visit of such huge increases and that there was in fact a doctor on site who charges less than Dr. Park for the pallet insertion. I expressed all of this at the counter for payment-but it was incredibly awkward moment that no patient should have to experience with other clients behind me waiting to pay their bill. This wasn't right, not handled correctly. This review isn't personal against Dr. Park, but even my husband stopped going to get pallets because he felt there was a money making disingenuous overtone to his experiences and after I got ER/PR positive stage 1 breast cancer two years ago, that also freaked him out to the pallet experience knowing estrogen, hormone therapy feeds cancer, may not cause it but it most certainly plays a huge factor that completely shocked me at the time being on estrogen, progesterone, testosterone pallet/therapy under Dr. Park. Of course, once diagnosed I had to stop estrogen and progesterone immediately. But even with that whole process I went through, I stuck with Dr. Park for testosterone pallets and DIM pallets with my medical oncologist overseeing these decisions. I really wish my most recent visit had not been the most awkward/unpleasant moment of any doctor's visit I have ever had. I wasn't afforded the opportunity ahead of time to make other financial decisions about pallet care. That's just not okay. I do want to say Maria and the front desk staff are super sweet people, doing their jobs well and have always been very kind, again this isn't personal.....
