I sat for about 35 minutes beyond my appointment time and finally decided to interact with the receptionist to ask if perhaps I was skipped or maybe even missed my call to come to the back? Needless to say, that conversation felt a bit unkind. A few minutes later, I was called in to see Dr. Robinson, her assistant was pleasant and eased the tension that I was feeling bc let's be honest, I wasn't thrilled to be there by that point. The doctor wasn't overly nice but wasn't mean either. It's hard enough to find a woman of color doctor in Los Angeles, but I'm not sure if I want a lack of warmth in a GYN. Perhaps she's kinder to a different kind of patient. She made a few recommendations and told me I could get dressed and left, never to be seen or heard from again. I wasn't even offered the option to use the restroom before we got started or after for that matter. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Somehow I managed to find a bathroom while I waited another 20 mins to be called to see the phlebotomist. Honorable mention: the nurse who took my blood was AMAZING. She was really nice to me, and it sucks that of all the people that you come into contact with at this office, only two made me feel welcomed. Best blood test I've ever had-- I didn't feel a thing and I wish I could take her to every appointment when blood needs to be drawn. After two weeks, I finally received my test results. Only one had a note from the practice explaining what those results meant. Thankfully, we live in an age of AI so chatGPT explained what my AMH results meant. All in all, I doubt I'll ever go back to this practice. Paying $300 to be treated as if my presence is a disruption isn't worth it to me. I left this office with nothing gained except negative emotions. Maybe it's not a space for young and employed women of color. Maybe it was simply too late in the day to find the strength to smile at a patient. Sadly, I will never know.

Turns out they've actually moved over 30 minutes away. When I called, I was met with a laundry list of excuses about why they hadn't updated their address online (which takes all of two minutes on Google). They claimed they "texted" the new location. No, they did not. They only sent a suite number, not a new address. So after wasting my time, gas, and an entire afternoon from work, I was told I'd have to wait several more weeks for another appointment because I "missed" mine. Unreal. If this is how they handle something as basic as communicating an address, I can't imagine trusting them with anything more important. Completely unprofessional and disorganized. Save yourself the headache, there are plenty of offices that actually respect their patients' time.

Dr. Jick is the worlds best OB!…read more Dr. Jick is hands down the best ob I've ever used. In fact, I drive 45 -1 hour just to see him! When you first meet him he will shine in bed side manor. Dr. Jick actually listens to your concerns and follows up with what you need. He has recommended other doctors that were needed after my appointment that knew about my specific condition. Since initially meeting Dr Jick I have delivered three times with him. I'm high risk being a little person needing three separate C-sections. My initial wish was that I wasn't his first little person, and I wasn't! He has a very quirky personality that can't help but make you smile. When it comes to caring for your body he makes sure that you know he really cares. I wish I could give him 10 stars, he's definitely my favorite. The staff is always very polite, Claudia usually works closely with him and she is nothing but endearing. The office is very clean, he stays very booked, so make sure you plan ahead. My incisions are basically invisible after they heeled. I can't put into words how great this guy is. Whether you are high-risk or not... delivering a little person, an average height person or twins or even triplets, he is your guy!

Unfortunately, I have had some frustrating experiences with the front office. There have been times when I waited around 15 minutes or more without anyone coming out to answer the phone. I also experienced an appointment being changed without anyone asking me first. I was simply told that the appointment had been changed, even though the original appointment had been scheduled for over three weeks. When you are already dealing with a sensitive situation, this can be very stressful. I also had an opportunity to speak with Nancy regarding what happened. I explained the timeline of events and went through what happened and when. After I finished explaining everything, there was an extended pause, and the only response I received was, "Yes, April can call you." I left the conversation feeling like my concerns had not really been heard or addressed. I do want to recognize April for trying to be helpful and assist with the situation. I appreciate that she has made an effort to help. My biggest concern is the communication and how the situation was handled. I had an appointment scheduled, and weeks later I was still having to scramble to establish care and figure out what was happening. I feel that a simple misunderstanding could have been handled with better communication and understanding from the beginning. I am sharing this because I think patients should be aware of my experience. People are often coming to a medical office during stressful and vulnerable times, and clear communication, patience, and understanding can make a big difference. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving the patient experience.

I have been going to Dr. Jennifer Park for approximately five years doing HRT. I have nothing…read morepersonal against Dr. Park in writing this review: rather. I feel compelled to express my utter dismay for this most recent visit/experience dated 4/2/2026. My last visit was 11/2025. In all my years dealing with Dr. Park, she and Maria would administer the pallet insertion at Dr. Park's very high fee no matter who was doing it. Each pallet ranged between 30-60 dollars-so my bills previously would be well over 500.00 per visit. In every past visit as far back as the beginning of time, her insertion fee was 350.00. On 11/18/2025, I paid her 350.00 insertion fee and the same usual pallet fees of 200.00 for a grand total of 550.00 every 4 months or so. At no time between my last appointment and the completion of this appointment 4/2/2026 was I ever informed of rate increases and pallet increases. I feel deeply disgusted by this shock that came over me upon paying after the pallets were inserted by Dr Park. At no time was I called or told: the insertion fees have increased by 50.00; pallet fees increased each by 5 dollars; & at no time was I informed that another doctor in the office now performs the insertion for 25 dollars less than what Dr. Park charges. Had I been provided this information before my appointment, I would have made very different decisions about even visiting with Dr. Park at all. I wasn't afforded that opportunity and I resent being treated this way after many years of being Dr. Park's patient. For one thing, I may have decided to go elsewhere to a less expensive clinic in a different county entirely, I would have at the very least asked to see the other doctor, whose name suddenly appeared on my most recent invoice as "jennifer-375.00/Park-400.00" which had never appeared in previous invoices. Again, Maria who used to administer for Dr Park was the same exact charge of 350.00. During this most recent visit, I even went down a full dose of one of the pallets, saving myself that charge of an extra 50 dollars. I got to the counter and I was expecting my bill to be 550.00 minus 50.00 for a pallet I didn't use but instead the invoice presented to me was 610.00!!!! I was in shock, not being given the change or notified ahead of the rate increases and different options to take. At the very least they should compensate me for that up-charge for not informing me before entering this visit of such huge increases and that there was in fact a doctor on site who charges less than Dr. Park for the pallet insertion. I expressed all of this at the counter for payment-but it was incredibly awkward moment that no patient should have to experience with other clients behind me waiting to pay their bill. This wasn't right, not handled correctly. This review isn't personal against Dr. Park, but even my husband stopped going to get pallets because he felt there was a money making disingenuous overtone to his experiences and after I got ER/PR positive stage 1 breast cancer two years ago, that also freaked him out to the pallet experience knowing estrogen, hormone therapy feeds cancer, may not cause it but it most certainly plays a huge factor that completely shocked me at the time being on estrogen, progesterone, testosterone pallet/therapy under Dr. Park. Of course, once diagnosed I had to stop estrogen and progesterone immediately. But even with that whole process I went through, I stuck with Dr. Park for testosterone pallets and DIM pallets with my medical oncologist overseeing these decisions. I really wish my most recent visit had not been the most awkward/unpleasant moment of any doctor's visit I have ever had. I wasn't afforded the opportunity ahead of time to make other financial decisions about pallet care. That's just not okay. I do want to say Maria and the front desk staff are super sweet people, doing their jobs well and have always been very kind, again this isn't personal.....

At first I was hesitant to have a male OBGYN but since my prior experience with a female OBGYN didn't go very well I decided to give it a try. Dr Alijore is very professional and kind. He has a very gentile demeanor and a funny sense of humor. He also has an excellent memory. One of the nurses stays in the room during the exam. Dr Alijore takes the time to listen to your needs/concerns and addresses them. I've been coming here for over 10 years and am very happy I made the switch.

He gave me one of the most PAINFUL pelvic exams I've ever experienced, and did not even see the problem that I was there for. I had to see my GP and Dr. Jick the following day because he said there was nothing wrong but I was still in extreme discomfort. I had to be immediately be put on doxycycline and metro gel for two terrible infections. No sure how he missed this. I would NOT recommend this doctor to any single young women. He was incredibly condescending, rude, unprofessional and had ZERO bedside manner. So happy to have received a bill for $100+ for nothing.........

She is approachable, warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have absolute faith and confidence in her care. I came to her for the first time a couple of years ago after a bad experience with another OBGYN at the clinic. As such, I was somewhat wary. I am happy to report that I had nothing to fear. Dr. Shah made me and continues to make me feel comfortable in her presence. She takes the time to talk with and discuss my issues and concerns. Also, pap smears are generally uncomfortable, but Dr. Shah is one of the best at helping to minimize the pain and discomfort, even reminding me how to breathe through it. She's also very good at describing what she is doing in detail so that you are never left wondering. I did have to wait almost one hour to see her today, but I fault the clinic workload and appointment demand (possibly overbooking) more than her. It clearly seems that she is doing her best and trying to work as efficiently as possible. I cannot recommend Dr. Shah highly enough, and I am grateful to be under her care.

It's taken me 4 years to write this review, I think because of how traumatized I was from my…read moredelivery. Dr Matsuda was my OB for my 1st child. In the office, he had excellent bedside manner, answered all my questions, did a detailed ultrasound at almost every visit, and was overall a great doctor. I felt reassured going into my first delivery, which I was honestly very terrified of. The issues started a week before my due date. He did a manual cervical exam per him to check how dilated I was, and I am pretty sure he did a cervical sweep without my consent because it was extremely painful and it lifted me off the bed. It did not feel like a typical cervical exam to check for dilation. I started leaking clear fluid for the week after, and I called his office. The medical professional who responded said it was normal. I went in for my near-40 week visit, and the fluid around my baby had nearly disappeared (had gone from higher normal to extremely low) in one week which I believe was from his cervical sweep that he did without my consent. I went to go get induced, and he was on call that night. I thought it was lucky, but looking back I wish it was any other doctor but him. When it was time for my baby to be delivered, he arrived yawning and visibly annoyed, upset that he had been called in too soon. I was 18-20 hours into my labor, and was exhausted. I could see him eye rolling as I tried to push, as I guess I wasn't pushing hard enough? I still don't see any excuse for his unprofessional behavior at that time. The more important issue that was terrifying was my baby's heart rate would drop to undetectable on the monitor with every contraction when he was near crowning. The nurses were getting scared and asked if they should call the NICU. He rolled his eyes AGAIN and said no, and seemed bored of the whole situation. This dropping heart rate kept happening for 30 minutes with my contractions. Finally, my baby arrived, with his cord wrapped around his neck (which I think was getting compressed with each contraction and causing his heart rate to drop). Dr Matsuda looked at me after realizing the issue and gave some lame excuse about it. I developed a fever afterwards (got no treatment or tests done), and thinking back, I'm so grateful my child didn't develop an infection from my likely ruptured sac. I could tell it was on his mind bc he was examining the amniotic fluid and reassuring everyone including me that it looked clear and no sign of infection. Overall, great bedside manner IN the office, TERRIBLE and actually traumatizing if he's on call and being woken up at night. Perhaps go with him if this is not your first delivery and you have an uncomplicated delivery expected. Otherwise go elsewhere to another doctor that will treat you with more caution and care than he did me or my baby.

While no one enjoys paying extra, I personally find the fee justifiable given the continuity, trust, and high standard of care I've experienced with Dr. Matsuda. This isn't about greed, but sustainability. Insurance companies negotiate lower reimbursement rates for routine visits, and those adjustments rarely reflect the true cost of running a practice. In my view, this fee reflects the unfortunate reality of our healthcare system, not the character of this practice. Dr. Matsuda has always treated me with respect and compassion. I value the long-term relationship we've built. At the end of the day, a medical practice is also a business, and maintaining excellence requires resources. If you're looking for a provider who truly listens, remembers your history, and treats you as a whole person, Dr. Matsuda is worth it.
