Dr. Li is the best doctor I've ever come across. He truly cares about his patients and really was the perfect doctor. He doesn't overtreat or undertreat, but really is balanced and gives you all the information when making decisions, as well as being amazingly skilled in his work and techniques. When I was indecisive, he took his time with me until I felt confident and informed in my decisions. His office staff is also wonderful, the nurse there is so caring and makes you feel so comfortable. I looked forward to coming to Dr. Li's office every time. Everything his reviews, about his saving people's lives are true, and he is definitely the person I want in charge of my care in an emergency. During my pregnancy, there were some stressful situations (bleeding), and each time Dr. Li was so attentive to everything going on and really took the time to make sure the baby and I were ok. He did everything he possibly could and each time I left feeling at ease after talking with him. He also thoroughly explained everything to me. The physician he refers to for the anatomy scan ultrasounds is also one of the best around. Basically, you're in incredible hands, from start to finish, when you come to Dr. Li. I did have an emergency situation in which I opted for a c section, and am so thankful that Dr. Li was my physician for it. I cannot imagine my recovery going anymore smoothly, and the procedure was quick, the baby was out in minutes and healthy. He is so incredibly skilled, which really matters when it comes to how the patient heals. You can tell he is so experienced as well. He's really funny and his demeanor always calmed me, when nothing else could. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Li, and feel truly blessed to have found him and trust him immensely with my, and my baby's, care. read more

DO NOT GO TO DR. LI! Not only is he clinically incompetent but he's extremely unprofessional. Dr. Li would joke about NOT hearing a fetal heart beat at my third trimester appointments. He also once commented on me being "pretty." My husband is a physician at Huntington Hospital. He started working there about a month before I delivered. When he asked other physicians about Dr. Li, they did not have the best things to say about him. Because we found this out just a few weeks before my delivery, it was too late to change OBs. However, once I was admitted to Huntington Hospital when I went into labor I ended up essentially firing Dr. Li and having the on-call OB deliver my baby. I did not feel comfortable having Dr. Li deliver my child. The L&D nurses also intimated that they themselves would not want Dr. Li delivering their baby. When both nurses and physicians have negative things to say about a provider, heed their warning and do not get care from said provider. Additionally, his office was extremely unorganized and rude. OBs through Huntington are supposed to have medical records on an electronic system. This is so that in the event of a precipitous delivery the on-call OB can access your history through the electronic record and therefore deliver you safely. Dr. Li was not compliant with this. All of his patient charts were paper. When I called to get hard copies of my patient information just prior to my due date, the secretary told me that I could not! My husband then got on the phone to explain how this was illegal. The secretary then hung up on my husband!!!! My husband and I ended up having to go to the office to pick up hard copies of my patient chart. In addition to this, the office repeatedly made errors with the paperwork for my private short-term disability insurance and disability through the state. Unfortunately, I had to follow up with Dr. Li for my 6 week postpartum check-up so he could close out my claim with the state. His ego was so bruised that he initially refused to perform the standard 6-week postpartum exam. He claimed that if I "fired him" for the delivery than he wasn't sure if I "rehired" him for the exam. I showed up for my appointment...I very obviously wanted him to do an exam...I also asked him for a pelvic PT referral because I was having stress incontinence. He gave me contacts for cosmetic gynecologists and an oncologic gynecologist. This was completely inappropriate as I needed help from a pelvic physical therapist to promote healing to my pelvic organs. I didn't have cancer in my gynecologic organs nor did I want gynecological cosmetic work. Other examples of his TERRIBLE bedside manner was him telling me how all of his partners have died because of how old he himself is (he's probably either late 70s or early 80s), being very evasive when you ask medical questions, not explaining anything that he does to you, and miscalculating my baby's predicted birthweight by 50%! He said she'd be around 8.5 lb, and she ended up coming out 6 lb. It's understandable to be off by 1 lb or so but to overestimate by almost 50% reflects his incompetence. It also makes a huge difference in terms of your delivery. Babies projected to be larger than 9 lb are often delivered via c-section. He also told me that because of my pelvic anatomy I would have a very long labor. I ended up pushing for 30 minutes. Nearly everything this man told me was wrong. Huntington is a great hospital with great physicians. Dr. Li is not of them. read more

Dr Li was an amazing doctor. He delivered my three kids. The first of which was an emergency c-section. He was so kind and caring and knowledgeable. Pauline his secretary was gruff but lovable once you got to know her. Sadly, I believe something happened to Dr. Li. His number has been disconnected and his office vacated. It appears this happened in January 2024 or maybe December 2023. Unfortunately, this was done without notice to his patients so no opportunity to get medical records. The receptionist or whoever picked up the phone is so rude and impatient!!! Where is that attitude coming from? I just found out I'm pregnant, and wanted to schedule the prenatal care appointment with Dr.Li. I was told immediately doctor will not see me until at least 6 weeks, which I understand, but what's wrong with me calling now to schedule a visit at 6 weeks. I had light bleeding last night, she didn't want to hear my concerns at all, and asked me to go to urgent care instead of calling them. What kind of healthcare provider is this?? If you don't want to accept new patients, or patients with insurance coverage, list it online as 'cash patient only', so I won't waste my time calling! Good luck to your business! read more

Dr. Li delivered both my boys. I waited a long time to write this review but not a but he is in my thoughts frequently. After my youngest was born, I had an uterine artery embolism. Suprised i was able to get an appt so quick with Dr.Li the same week. I am into 2nd tri~ didn't felt like my previous ob care enough since i am first time mom also had miscarriage before. Looking forward for new patient. After saw him yesterday and i decided to change over .Dr.Li as my new ob to delivery my baby, i expressed my concerns as prev. Ob didn't spend time to discuss in details. Dr.Li take time ultrasound shows me where my baby position, plcenta and head too. We also discuss in term how much time i need to take off and many advices. I am really glad switch over. I had c section deliveried my baby boy at 36wks due preeclampsia with headaches. Amazing i emailed him in the morning of that day and he was at hospital to see me 5-10 mins after been triaged by l&d nurse. Definitely i will choose him again as ob for next baby. Now i am 30 wks with 2nd baby, no doubt i kept him as my ob since he always attentive and answered my questions. He sent to perintal doc get all dx testing and ultrasound to find out. He always responsive to my email when i have new c/o during pregnancy. Pauline always wonderful and answered the phone. Even i met her at park lot one day need to drop off my leave paperwork. Dr. Li is the best ob/gyn. He was my doctor for my first set of twins (miscarried one and ectopic for the other). He met me at the hospital for emergency surgery when my tube ruptured. A year later I was pregnant with twins again and he visited me multiple times at San Gabriel Hospital while I was on bed rest and later delivered my twins at Huntington. They're almost 15 now. 7 years later I had moved and was pregnant again. Since I had moved, I switched to a new doctor who told me the fetus didn't have a heart beat and I needed to get a D&C asap. I called Dr. Li and he saw me that week. My baby boy is a healthy 6 year old today with a strong heart beat! Amazing doctor. (Unfinished; written in 2016) I was referred to Dr. Li by my primary physician. She said he's really good at what he does, and coincidentally her sister-in-law had him as her OB. Dr. Li was very nice. But soon I noticed that he is not very informative. This is the first pregnancy for me and my husband, and we were pretty much clueless. But, Dr. Li didn't tell us anything. I have initially told him we don't know what to expect so don't know what questions to ask, yet every time after the ultra sound, we go to his office, he'll just ask us "got any questions for me?" He had never proactively offered us any tips or info we should know at any stage of our pregnancy. By the time I noticed I figured it was too late to change doctors so just dealt with it. I've learned to ask some questions from books and magazines I was reading subsequently but Dr. Li seems to avoid answering my questions - I don't know why - with either humor or some smartass comments. My husband was oblivious to this. When I told him how frustrated I was with Dr. Li, he just said he thought he (Dr. Li) was funny. Time came to fill out leave paperwork required by my employer. I had 15 days to have it completed but in actuality I had only 11 days because of mail-delivery time. To be considerate and sensitive to Dr. Li's time, I e-mailed him the same day I got the paperwork (Fri, May 6), asking him if I should send the paperwork to him ahead of time, ahead of our appointment the following week (Sat, May 14). I didn't get a response back. But, I didn't want to follow up because I didn't want to appear pushy. So, a week after the e-mail I sent him, I brought the paperwork with me to our appointment. The receptionist asked me if what I had with me was leave paperwork, and proceeded to ask me when I need it by. Since a week had already gone by, plus it took a few days for the packet to get to me, I only had 3 more days from the day of the appointment to return the paperwork back to my employer (by Tues, May 17). She wrote the date down, asked me for a fax number, and told me there is a $15 paperwork fee. Come May 17 I have not yet received the paperwork so I called the office to check on the status. It was then I was told that the person who fills out such forms for Dr. Li typically goes in to the office on Thursdays and Fridays. I was surprised to learn about that, and was disappointed that it was not communicated to me when the receptionist knew when I needed the forms back by. When I said something, her response was "you don't want us to make any mistakes on the form, right?" She should have told me when she got the paperwork that it wouldn't be done by the date I needed it back by. And I certainly did not appreciate her condescending tone. read more

Called to make an appt and the receptionist was awful!! The receptionist was incompetent and couldn't answer if they took our insurance. I'm an IVF patient who have a fertility center up at UCSF. I live in Pasadena so naturally my fertility center want me to find local OBGYN to do my early ultrasound at 6 weeks. The receptionist asked for a work order which was ridiculous. This was the first ever that any OBGYN office asked for this as I've called around 10 offices and none had requested that. I'm surprised as to how they have such high yelp ratings!!! read more

Dr. Li is really nice, energetic and fun. those are the only good things i can say about my time spent with him. i only saw him for my first month and a half of checkups, from week 7-14 then moved to a new doctor thereafter. this is my first pregnancy and of course, i am nervous and completely unaware of the process. all i knew is i needed a medical professional in this field to support me and my growing baby and i needed to feel like me and my baby were both being cared for. there were a few things i didn't like about dr. li and his office. every appointment was the same: id enter his single exam room office, get semi greeted by his main office admin who was really mean and stern and only accepted cash for co-pays, then once my name was called, i entered the small exam room (the only other room in the location besides his office) and he'd conduct a very short ultrasound (5mins max) where he checks the heart rate and then tells me to meet him in his office next door. he'd literally rush in and out. although he was cheerful and happy the whole time, i didn't feel comfortable to tell him about issues i was having with my body, changes i was noticing, or other questions pertaining to be examined by him. once in his office, he lets me ask questions or talk freely. even during this experience i feel rushed and insecure because of how rushed it felt and there were times that i wanted him to examine me, but we were already in his office and i didn't know if my issues rendered an examination or not since i've never been pregnant before. i once told him i was having pains and he said "well do you think it's pregnancy? bc lets just blame the baby." and i thought, ok... well i'd like to know i'm ok and this is normal bc IVE NEVER HAD A BABY BEFORE so can you empathize a little? can you check me? can you give me more info, please? my husband got this vibe, too. we both were so confused by his behavior which to me, is a bad sign. BASICALLY, you shouldn't feel confused by your obstetrician, you should feel secure and happy. his office was also a total mess. papers everywhere and his things were so old and outdated. i felt many weird vibes here. the deal breaker to get a new doctor is that he kept changing our due date / week of pregnancy so early on. i was told the first trimester is the most important time to determine a baby's age. So, as normal procedure goes, weeks 11-13 is the time to conduct the down-syndrome blood-draw and ultrasound. i was under the impression i was on track and made an appointment with the perinatologist. when i arrived i was told that my baby was too big / too old to be given the test. basically dr li said i was 13 weeks and i was actually measuring 15 weeks and did not qualify for the bloodwork. as a result, my husband and i opted for the private (cash) test that did DNA testing which would cover us for what we missed. i was disappointed that we had to go this route and was then advised by the perinatologist to be concerned about the fluctuating age of a baby from an OB and she emphasized the importance of having a semi-accurate reading. when i found a new doctor, i was told the same thing and that i should have been told the correct age of my baby early on. now that i'm 9 months pregnant, i'm really happy i switched when i did and i'm much happier with my current doctor. i am ready and prepared for a good delivery and not paranoid about how things will unfold. read more

After going to different OBGY's for my first pregnancy. And hearing a lot of great reviews for Dr Li. We decided to give a try. I have to say I LOVED LOVED LOVED coming here!! He's a bit old fashion but made my appointments go smooth, my whole pregnancy went smoothly. Any questions I had he always answered. Amazing staff! Waiting time was no more than 5 mins. Even at delivery I was expecting the worse!! All these stories you hear about women tearing and stitches and a lot of other things...besides having to be induced the delivery went amazing!! I went to Dr. Li when I became pregnant because he was the most recommended by my primary care's clients. I switched out of his care by the 2nd trimester. The pros: no wait in his office, he is a very experienced high-risk pregnancy doc, head of the Huntington Memorial Hospital on-call OBs. The cons: his attitude! He is a fear-mongerer, to the worst degree. He is not personable at all, very cold and methodical, and worst yet, he is not forthcoming with important information for a first-time pregnant woman! His MO is to give ultrasounds at every appointment, and then bring you in to his office so that you can ask him questions. Fortunately I'd read a LOT about pregnancy before seeing him, otherwise I would not have walked away from his office knowing anything that I didn't ask. I felt completely disempowered when I asked my list of questions, and felt that he didn't respect me at all. He never once gave me an internal exam, which is customary in the first trimester appointment, and then when I had a scare in the 11th week, he didn't bother taking a look and jumped right to the worst conclusions possible, without even considering that it might have been natural or a result of too much physical exertion the day before. (Both me and the baby were fine, btw.) When I called to have my medical records transferred to my new OB, they didn't even ask why I switched, as if they didn't even care! read more

This doc is awesome! Funny and very helpful. My wife found him under the list of doctors on the group insurance, since we are expecting our second kid she wants to know if there is other doctor that really cares about her not just another preg woman. I came with her on the first visit ,waiting room was clean and organize with no patients so we knew we are up next (her first doctor sometimes make her wait 2 hours) with her being pregnant and uncomfortable there is no way she can sit for a long time. A nice lady greet us at the counter and she was very helpful with instructions on filling out the form, then another nice assistant came to let us in and ask her so many questions and provided her with some of her experiences. About 2 mins after the doctor came in with a smile and couple jokes to break the tension, after ultra sound he took us to his office for some Q and A. Q & A??? that's great ! our last doctor had no time for us, 2 hours in the waiting room and 5 mins to see her. Our visit was about 30 mins or so with only at most 5 mins of wait and we walked away pleased, I wish we know him sooner. Only problem is his is assign at the San Gabriel hospital and we prefer Methodist in Arcadia. read more

Let me first say this review is not about Dr. Li's medical knowledge or how good he is at being an OB. My friends came from China to have their baby in LA. Someone had recommended Dr. Li so they visited Dr. Li's office and to find out about the service details. The office staff is extremely rude and condescending like another review had mentioned. She said she's too busy to help verify the insurance because she's leaving for the day. Even when I asked her politely if she could write down the information and check tomorrow, she just said she's too busy to deal with us. She asked for full cash payment even when my friend has Blue Shield/Blue Cross insurance that indicates it's 100% covered, without copay. She said the office will reimburse the patient when they get paid by Blue Shield. I asked if there's any agreement they can sign between the Dr. and the patient for this advance cash payment then reimbursed. She just said you must trust us. If you don't trust us, don't come to see Dr. Li. I told her I have never heard of any response like this in the US in my life, especially from a medical professional!!!! She just hung up on me. I can't believe this kind of office staff represents Dr. Li to the patients. Bottomline, it is every bit Dr's responsibility to maintain a courteous and professional staff. With this kind of office manager, I sincerely worry about the quality of medical service provided. Anyway, seekers beware. read more

My wife and I went to Dr. Li for our first pregnancy, and we cannot say enough good things about Dr. Li. He has hundreds of photos of babies he has delivered on his wall - I asked him one day if he knew how many he had delivered and he said he stopped counting at 17,000... so to say he is experienced is a bit of an understatement. Dr. Li gave my wife an ultrasound at each visit (something like 10 total), and during those quick seconds he was able to give us a very good progress report on our son's development. After the ultrasound he would invite us into his office to discuss the baby's progress and answer any questions we had. During the entire pregnancy we never felt as if there wasn't time for another question - he always had the patience to carefully and candidly answer our concerns. Dr. Li is straight to the point, does not do a lot of hand holding, and his jokes get a little tired. But after the last 9 months through delivery he has been my favorite doctor I have ever come to know. Dr. Li exudes honesty and genuinely cared about us as people. At the hospital during delivery he went out of his way on several occasions to follow-up on mom & baby's progress. In summary, his knowledge, skill as a physician, reputation as a surgeon, personal integrity, and genuine friendliness lead me to strongly recommend his care. Other notes: parking costs a couple bucks at his office, his staff are great, and he offers appointments on Saturday mornings (but expect a wait on Saturdays). read more

I've known Dr. Li for almost 10 years. I was lucky enough to have him deliver all 4 of my healthy, beautiful children. Dr. Li is amazing; both as a physician and as a person. You can tell immediately, that he loves what does. And the best thing about him is that HE REALLY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. Physicians take an oath that they should always do what is best for the patient, and he lives up to that claim 110%. He will go up against anyone and everyone to do what is best for his patients. He listens to every concern and truly cares about his patients and their well-being. There were numerous times when would experience hormonal shifts and pregnancy blues, and start crying while in his office. He would sit with me and talk me through my crying episode and REALLY care about how I felt. He wouldn't hurry me out or burst my feelings away as hormones. He is awesome and personable. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone who wants a caring, compassionate, experienced OB-GYN. I would drive all the way from Rancho Cucamonga for my pregnancy visits and delivery because he is sooooo worth it!! read more

Honestly my family loves Dr. Li. My wife got assigned to him for her first pregnancy (my 3rd child) and she was high risk so we had to see him every two weeks for that pregnancy. When my wife went into labor she was having complications with the delivery, so he came out and spoke to me about it and our options. So we chose the C section route, both my daughter and my wife came out of it fine. Now I have a wonderful little 3 year old girl and another one on the way. When my wife found out she was pregnant she automatically went to Dr. Li again because she is comfortable with him. So he has been wonderful this time around as well. We would not trade him for anything. read more

This is our first pregnancy , we are looking for a good OB and a supportive staff as this is our first time. We read this review and thought I should give them a call to find out availability. Big mistakes!!! She was very rude the whole time while I first called to find out if Dr. Li was available. Dr. Li. ,I am sorry that you have this terrible staff who tried her best to turn away clients. I did not even get to see you and your staff had already turned us away. Here are the examples of how she answered the phone and also the unprofessional questions and answers that she had given me. 1) She always impolitely cut you off before you finished asking question. 2) She does not LISTEN! 3) She lied that you do not take new patient anymore. 4) She even got upset and told me that :" you know how many phone call I have to take? you wasting my time?" 5) She even told me that : " you have to deal with me if you want to see Dr.LI, are you OK with that?" Doctor Li is an incredibly knowledgeable and kind doctor. He cares so much about his patients and it's obvious he loves what he does. The office is small, warm and quaint. The staff is friendly and professional. Although he delivers at Huntington hospital (a mega hospital), his care is very personal and individualized and you never feel like you're just a number. My husband and I are moving to the UK and having our baby out there, and I was overcome with emotion having to accept that Dr Li would not be delivering our baby. Dr Li is an experienced and OBGYN and he's been my doctor since before I got pregnant. They are great about following up if you have any abnormal test results or need further testing so you feel cared for. When I think about it I trazos how lucky I got to find Dr Li (I think I found him on yelp but I honestly don't remember), there so many crappy doctors, mediocre doctors and ok doctors out there and finding Dr Li was very fortunate since he is an absolutely stellar doctor. There is so much that one is fearful of when pregnant and I can only imagine it all intensifies during labor. You want to be at the hands of doctors who are committed and who's care you trust. Best OB! He has delivered 2 of my children and has been excellent. He is funny and answers all your questions. I think if you are looking for guidance or tips on your pregnancy maybe look for a doula or read books, and then come to Dr. Li with your questions and he will answer them with humor and a dose of reality. What he did for me was tell me how I was doing and how my baby was doing, which is what I needed him to do. He ran labs, did ultrasounds, referred me to a specialist when I needed it, and answered all my questions whether big or small through email, text, or in person. As for the deliveries, WOW have they been fairly easy (as easy as deliveries can be). I've had some big babies, natural deliveries, and he helped me push through to have easy and safe deliveries. As for the staff at his clinic, they have been great. A tiny bit rough around the edges at first...but maybe because a lot of pregnant ladies are calling their office with so many questions and that can be overwhelming lol I know I called lot! It doesn't take much time though to get the relationship with the staff situated and they are the best. Staff and OB here have been excellent for me and my family. read more

We LOVE Dr. Li and his nurse/office staff! I have an HMO, and was referred to Dr. Li for my first pregnancy in 2011. I was not excited about having a male doctor at first (I didn't have a say in who my OB would be due to having an HMO). BUT this turned out to be the best referral I have ever had. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Li. Unfortunately my first pregnancy ended early within the first trimester. Dr. Li was so great during this time. He has excellent bedside manner. The nurse and office staff were so sensitive to this unpleasant time in our lives. Fortunately I became pregnant in 2012, and my husband and I insisted that we have Dr. Li again with our HMO. In our short time with him in 2011, we felt we had started to build a good relationship with him. And yes, we got Dr Li. Dr. Li delivered our baby boy in September 2012, and we would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Li! The best is: * He has office hours on Saturday mornings. Plus parking is free on Saturdays. * He explains everything very well. We always felt like we understood everything. I had to go through all of the screenings, and tested positive due to my age. Dr. Li always made us feel informed, and he never passed any judgment over our decisions. * His nurse is always pleasant. She remembers you too, and she always remembered my husband. Not just are names, but also little things happening in our lives. We never felt like a number. * His office staff is great. Very organized, and always remembers our preferred appointment times. Even expedited any referrals that we needed. I not only judge a doctor on his/her abilities, but also the office staff. This one is an A++ in our books. * Dr. Li is always available by email too. Great for questions that aren't urgent. * I completely trusted Dr. Li with medical decisions. I always felt informed and comfortable. He would give us the options with all the details. I felt like he really took the time to know what we preferred. We were a little sad after our last follow up visit. Dr. Li and his staff have become apart of our lives over the past year. They made the pregnancy easier because we always knew we could count on them for support and help. And we felt like we were in really good hands for the delivery. I had a c-section that was unexpected before my due date. I felt so at ease that day because I knew that Dr. Li was going to take care of us. Dr. Li was also wonderful during my entire stay in the hospital (Huntington). I had top notch care the whole time. He cares. If we are fortunate enough to be blessed with another pregnancy, we will be going back to Dr. Li for sure! read more

Dr. Li is a great doctor however doesn't really try to connect with his past patients. I had seen doctor Li. About 3 years ago. I am trying to get in to his office again and according to one of his employees Pauline , she is stating that doctor Li can not or will not take me. And for this I am giving him a one star. I am not a troubled patient so I'm not sure why he would reject me. Don't go here. His staff is very rude and lack phone etiquette. You can barely understand Pauline. I have a looong history with Dr. Li. I find him to be just a tad bit short of amazing. He not only took great care of me during my first pregnancy, but is also now watching over my second. I was referred to him by my family (sister, cousin, and aunt) who were all under his care previously. He knows his stuff! He's a bit brief and straight to the point...but he also deals with tons of business women and knows not to waste any time when it comes to a business womans busy schedule. He is open on Saturdays, and late on Mondays and Tuesdays. He is extremely accessible...encourages you to email him with any questions...and also makes you feel very comfortable. He doesnt give any vaginal exams until the final weeks...which I found to be great because they are extremely uncomfortable!! He does do an ultrasound every time you go in so you get a chance to hear your babies heartbeat every single month. =) He also promises to be at the delivery, which I found to be true. I dont know how he does it...but he manages to be at ten places all at once. He is a great doctor, highly recommended in the industry, and will definitely make your entire pregnancy a lot easier. read more

I love, love, Dr. Li. I was pregnant with my third daughter and was referred by a friend after having difficulties with the staff at Dr. Eleanor Lueng in Pasadena also. Him and his staff are great. Pauline and Vicki are awesome too. I had complications with this pregnancy and with no hesitations he send me to the best specialists. He promised to be there for my delivery and he kept his word. The nurses at Huntington Memorial told me he's one of the best and that he's a workaholic. I'm good with that. Don't hesitate to go see him if your pregnant. read more

Dr. Li is the very very best!!! Every time I pass by his office it just brings me such great memories because he made my pregnancy so much easier. I had previously suffered a miscarriage I was 16 weeks into my pregnancy. Dr. Li was not my dr at the time. Six months later, pregnant once again I was referred to Li by a well known specialist in Pasadena. I explained to dr Li my worries, concerns, anxiety about my pregnancy and he was so caring that he allowed me come in every two weeks for a check up. What dr does that? He knew that I couldn't wait a whole month without knowing how my baby was doing, specially the first weeks of pregnancy when you can't feel any movements. I truly believe God put dr Li in my life!! With all my heart I'll recommend dr Li to my friends and family or anyone reading this review. You will not regret it!! He has such a great sense of humor. Dr. Li took care of baby and I during my pregnancy and I have to say he was great at keeping me calm and well informed trough the entire process, from day one till the birth of our daughter. As a first time mom, I had lots of questions and concerns, and always felt like Dr. Li gave me all my options while never pushing me to choose one over another. He has a great sense of humor that puts you at ease with a joke while making sure you understand what may be something to worry about vs. another you can dismiss. I had a singularly bizarre experience trying to set up an appointment today. My PCP referred me to Dr. Li because I'm planning to start TTC in March, which will require removing an IUD. When I called Dr. Li's office, I asked if he was accepting new patients. The receptionist answered that he was, then asked for my insurance info, which seemed to be to her satisfaction. Then she asked what the appointment was for, and when I told her that I would like to have an IUD removed, she responded that Dr. Li would only remove IUDs that he had inserted himself! She then went on to describe at length that IUDs sometimes can get stuck up there. Even though that was a huge red flag, I tried assuring her that I'm not a problem case or anything, that I'm looking to establish a relationship with a doctor who will hopefully be an OB throughout pregnancy, and that I can't very well go back to my old OB/GYN in Boston to have this thing removed. There was an extended back-and-forth before finally she said that she would ask Dr. Li and then call back. She did not call back. Needless to say, I'll be seeking care elsewhere. I've chosen to leave this feedback anonymously because it concerns my reproductive choices. read more

My husband and I LOVE Dr. Li, Pauline and Victoria. He delivered my daughter, our first child, and he was the perfect blend of levity and professionalism. He also was open to and supportive of my wanting to give birth naturally (which I didn't as my water broke with no contractions for hours, but he supported our decision to try to bring on contractions and didn't pressure us). He also also made it to the hospital within an hour of our arriving. WE LOVE HIM. If we have another child, we will undoubtedly want Dr. Li to be our doctor again. read more

I'm so blessed to have Dr. Li as my OB. I was referred to him by good friend and i'll be forever thankful for him. He delivered my first baby just last week. Throughout my pregnancy he made feel positive and answered all my questions. He is very knowledgeable and his staff are great! They have great teamwork and you can just see it. I will refer Dr. Li to all my friends. I trust him and that means so much. My husband calls him Master Li! Lol hes the best!! read more
