At 43 years old, this pregnancy means more to me than I can put into words. Dr. Llarena was extremely thoughtful and precise throughout the entire process. She continuously adjusted my medication protocol to find the best stimulation and ovulation plan for my body. During the embryo transfer process, she also carefully tailored my medications to give my uterus the best possible support for implantation. Thanks to her expertise and personalized care, I was able to create a healthy baby boy embryo, and incredibly, my very first embryo transfer was successful and resulted in implantation. I am now 14 weeks pregnant, and I could not be more thankful. What makes this journey even more meaningful is that three years ago, Dr. Llarena also successfully helped me create a healthy baby girl embryo. I have kept that embryo safely stored, and I hope to come back in about a year, when the timing is right, for another transfer and hopefully continue growing my family. Dr. Llarena is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but she also made me feel that every step of my treatment was carefully considered and individualized. I truly appreciate her dedication, patience, and outstanding medical expertise. I also want to sincerely thank her entire team for all of their support, especially her assistant Kelly, who was always patient and thorough when explaining my medications and treatment instructions. Thank you so much, Dr. Llarena, Kelly, and the whole team, for helping me reach this incredibly special milestone. I will always be grateful for everything you have done for me, and I look forward to seeing you again when I am ready for my baby girl's transfer. -Bo

I trust Dr. Oropez so much that I recommended him to a close friend who was also experiencing infertility. She began seeing him for both acupuncture and hypnotherapy. During my most recent 90-minute massage, the therapist introduced a treatment that was never explained to me or discussed beforehand. I wasn't asked for my consent until after it had already been used on one side of my body. I later learned it wasn't even part of the massage service I had booked. I left with significant marks on my legs for days afterward--something I absolutely would have declined had I been given the opportunity to make an informed decision beforehand. To their credit, management acknowledged my concerns and confirmed that this technique is not part of the massage service they offer. However, the resolution offered didn't reflect the seriousness of what happened. When I respectfully explained why I didn't feel it was appropriate and asked them to reconsider, I never received another response. Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, what began as an issue with informed consent ended with poor follow-through and communication from management. After years of supporting this business, spending hundreds of dollars on services and gift certificates, I expected much better. I hope they take informed consent more seriously and do a better job standing behind their services when they fall short.

This review is long over do!!!!!!!…read more After researching several other IVF clinics, we finally decided to come here for two reasons. (1) A friend of mine had highly recommended him (who had healthy twin girls the first time) and (2) He was much more affordable than other IVF clinics in the LA area. Other clinics that we had consultations with prior didn't have that "warm fuzzy feeling" and were much more expensive! So my husband and I came to Dr. Bayrak's office in September 2021 with the last hope of starting a family and he did not disappoint! From the very first consultation to the last appointment in June 2022, we have been completely satisfied!!! His staff creates a friendly, helpful, and welcoming environment and Dr. Bayrak always makes time for his patients either by phone, email, or appointments. Dr. Bayrak is a very knowledgeable doctor that does the best for his patients. He always made me and my husband feel comfortable and took the time to answer our questions and educate us on the process of IVF. He truly cares for his patients and doesn't rush into any procedure-- he is always looking out for the best interest of the mom and baby. Our first round of IVF was a success and we couldn't be more happier!!! We are truly grateful to God and to Dr. Bayrak for helping us get our healthy baby girl who was born on December 15th, 2022! We can't wait to bring in our precious baby girl for everyone to see. (after her immune system is completely developed of course:) We highly recommend Dr. Bayrak!! He is amazing at what he does!! So if you're on the fence about who to go see for IVF treatment, look no further!

I went in knowing I had low egg reserve based on a blood test. He very bluntly told me he saw an endometrioma Cyst in my ovary, and given my low egg reserve I should go straight to donor eggs. He said he would give me a shot at IVF with my own eggs as sort of a compromise to appease me, didn't discuss any endometriosis treatment or anything, and he didn't seem to have much faith that I would have success. I left there completely in shock, crying, traumatized. I ended up getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion and ultimately did 5 eggs retrievals in the last 4 years. I ended up with 2 genetically normal embryos and then got spontaneously pregnant in between my cycles without any intervention. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby, then had surgery for endometriosis and now I'm pregnant with one of my frozen embryos. All this to say I do believe he had an ulterior motive to only do IVF with those with higher egg counts to have better statistics. If you have a trickier situation, I would look elsewhere for a doctor and clinic that believes in giving you a chance rather than giving up before you even start. I thought I needed donor eggs but here I am with 2 babies from my own eggs.

She seems to truly care about her patients and she took the time to answer our questions. She sends follow up notes for your visits and you can most definitely reach her for anything urgent. We also saw Dr. Dooby (not sure if that's how it's spelled) and she was super personable and gentle. The doctors don't make you feel like a cash cow getting herded through the process for money. Can't really say the same for the HRC - Pasadena staff and nurse. They were pretty useless and lied to us on our first visit saying they were closed at 10 AM Sunday. They aren't closed. Their staff just wanted to leave early because there were no other patients scheduled past 9:30 AM on that Sunday. I fought with three receptionists/staff/call operators until I finally got my foot through the door. Best advice is to advocate for yourself and try to connect with someone that is not just a call center operator if it's something urgent or can't wait until the next business day.
