I took my chances and went with the $3 choice. As a new coffee drinker, I'm not too picky about where I get my caffeine fix, and this CVS refrigerated option did the trick. What surprised me most was how big and clean this CVS was--especially for a downtown location! The aisles were neatly organized, everything was easy to find, and the parking right outside was a lifesaver for my morning commuter rush. Good to know I have a solid, quick-stop "corner store" near my house for future caffeine emergencies!

So I turned to the internet to find a new provider for my medication. Samuel provided great customer service to include calling my insurance provider himself to make sure that I was covered under my insurance. That was awesome. Then last week I went to pick up my prescription and the order, while correct in terms of being a generic version of my medication, wasn't exactly what I use and myself and the pharmacist did not want to alter anything since even slight changes in meds can be difficult on the body. So the pharmacist (I believe his name is Dr. Nguyen) went out of his way to find my exact medication, check to make sure it was covered, and then ordered it to be picked up two days later. Returning 3 hours later I was informed that two of the medications were unavailable and had been ordered and would be available by 2 Tuesday afternoon. Never received any contact advising us that the medicines necessary for treatment after detached retina surgery weren't there. Arriving Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 I was told the medication was being worked on and would be ready in half an hour. Knowing how that went last time I didn't return for 4 hours. Imagine my irritation when I learned the medication is not available and at no point did anyone contact us to tell us that they could not fill the prescription. If vision is impaired or lost, believe that the issue will be addressed in a manner that comes with lawyers and big dollar signs attached.

As well as my medical information, address, phone number etc. I go in for my prescriptions not someone else's. I do not have a picture I.D. Because I have been mugged and it was taken along with my wallet. I present my health insurance card. State food stamp card ie.(SNAP) social security card etc. with tape glue still on my arms from the hospital. They refuse my prescriptions. I called 3 friends as apparently anyone with I.D. Can get my scripts. They refuse, a military I.D. Then a temporary state I.D. Then an expired state Drivers License. I'm most definitely never going to go to this or any other Walgreens ever again. I refuse to be treated as though I'm a vagrant or vagabond because I was robbed by a homeless person. This store is always surrounded by homeless people and obvious drug addicts. It's not safe. Poor lighting in the parking lot. People asking for money before you can get out of your car. As well as rude associates. I give them the lowest rating possible. This location should be closed for obvious negligent security and customer safety.

Just when I didn't think I would hear from him that day, he called me, apologized for taking so long but had been busy. (I totally understood ). He then said he could get my husband's prescription but from a different company. Sure enough, we arrived in town about 4:30 pm, 1st stop was Walgreens and they had his medicine! I asked to find another location since I drove 25 minutes to get there. Clerk found another location but we couldn't go because my mom incorrectly said she had no insurance and if you have no insurance you pay 200.00 to get tested! They told me we have to reschedule for another day! That's all then we left. You wonder why Walgreens has terrible reviews!
