The entire pharmacy staff is rude & unprofessional. They all have a nasty attitude. The pharmacist got rude & complained that she's too busy & doesn't even have her log in password. They LITERALLY sold us fraudulent merchandise! My brother (in active duty in the military) came for a visit and bought me a Vanilla Visa gift card from this CVS for my birthday. Once we went to use the gift card, we found it was fraudulent and there is no credit on the card. Ridiculous! HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS and the card doesn't work. When we went back to the CVS to fix the issue the manager on duty told us that they have had a lot of fraud with these cards, and that he couldn't believe we were sold the card. So they have had other issues with fraud and are STILL SELLING THE CARDS?!?! Additionally it has been several weeks since the incident and they have not followed up with calling us back or a reimbursement. CVS is claiming it is a third party issue that we need to take up with Vanilla/ Visa. We are getting the run around and the third party isn't resolving this either. Our money was taken, we cannot use the gift card and CVS not only washed their hands of us and now are still waiting weeks for resolution, on a product they knew was fraudulent and should not have been sold to us in the first place. Negative stars, soon as I walked in I immediately noticed the old black lady and the hunchback white (?) lady with dark hair staring me down and acting aggressive and rude towards me, following me around the store. I even heard the black lady calling me names such as "trick".... I am a 4.0 (black) college student and look and dress the part, so I'm not sure why such extreme stereotyping, especially coming from another black woman. If she wasn't talking about me (while looking directly at me and following me around the store with me only being inside for 5 mins or less) why is she using that language in customer service anyways? Piss poor customer service, and both of these employees need basic etiquette skills or to visit a church, one. I approached her about her staring so intently at me like she had an issue, and she immediately flew off the handle being rude. It's interesting a lot of the older generation makes comments about the younger generation when they aren't much of an example to look at. read more

The associates that work here are pretty friendly. I hate to leave a 3 star review for them. But the store itself is gross. They need to get rid of the carpet because the place just smells like dirty feet and urine. Or at least have it cleaned. And they're always out of stuff. read more

This pharmacy is a hot-mess. Dropped of my grandad's prescription via the drive thru at 4pm. I was told it would be ready for pick up in 1 hour. My father came back at 6pm (2 hours later) and was told they could not locate the prescription. He was asked to wait 30 minutes and he did. After a 30 minute wait he was then asked to wait another 30 minutes. He said he would come back. I had to call and yell at the pharmacist (Monica) to get the prescription ready before closing time of 8pm. Monica stated that my father was 'unwilling to wait' which is complete BS. If you tell someone a prescription will be ready is 1 hour then it should be ready within that time frame. Very disorganized pharmacy. read more

The location is hectic and sometimes hard to reach. I'm sure the pharmacists and techs want to help customers but they aren't incredibly cordial. I felt like another patient going through a revolving door of inconvenience. Aside from that...the checkout clerk at the front of CVS was very nice and accommodating. read more

I visited a local CVS store yesterday looking for one thing and one thing only: a Snuggie. I've been on a Snuggie kick for awhile now and as much as a talked about them, I still didn't own one. The first place that popped into my head was CVS and I was relieved and happy to walk in and see them proudly on display in the front. They had a whole bunch of pink Snuggies and a few promoting college football teams but no other colors. I really wanted the generic standard blue color and after a quick tour of the store I was about to give up hope. My friend and I asked the cashier if they had any additional colors and she said they had a leopard print and a blue one in the back of the store. She went to the back and got it for me and I couldn't have been happier. We then spent probably 15 minutes discussing the Snuggie while she rang up my purchase. Awesome service! Because of that awesome cashier I am now writing this review from my laptop wearing my new cozy blue Snuggie. My favorite thing about CVS though is that there's a machine at the front of the store where you can scan your CVS card and it will print out all of the coupons available to you (including my favorite, the $5 off a purchase of $25 or more). I never keep my coupons and since I frequent CVS I like that I can print them out before I shop and save some extra cash. read more

Maybe I got spoiled by living next door to a 24 hour CVS in the Heights but this CVS has given problems since I moved to the area and switched my prescriptions here. I recently had some infections and needed antibiotics filled. Unfortunately I filled them on a Saturday and in my head well they should be open til 8pm to pick them up. Nope closes on the weekend by 6pm. That's fine, I didn't know what they pharmacy hours were so I wasn't going to be mad for holding them accountable. I go the next morning to pick them up, open at 10AM. I wait til they open and they assist me through the Drive-Thru, I give my name and my keys with my CVS card, the pharmacist tells me they have no prescription for me and asked if I dropped if off. I tell her yes around 2pm. She checks again, still no luck, finally another tech finds me in file in the wrong place. She charges me and gives me my medicine but forgets my keys. I have to ring the bell to get my keys back so I can drive away. Ok...so one experience doesn't really keep me from giving a place the benefit of the doubt. I went to fill my regular meds, they were to be available around 2pm the following week on a Tuesday. I came to get get them, seemed like there were no major issues except that when I counted my meds, I was supposed to receive 4 total and only received 3. When I came back and explained their to the tech, he looked it up in the system and said the pharmacist had to explain/verify something first. I just happen to be there when the pharmacist was out smoking. So I waited, 30 minutes later, the pharmacist comes in, the tech explains I need assistance, he verifies what he needs and I get my meds. I am not sure what the hold up was and when I asked he said he just had to check off something in their system. Maybe my timing was bad but in the 2 years I lived in the Heights, never had a single problem with my meds, dropping off prescriptions, friendly pharmacists. This pharmacy operates like it was in the 50s, very limited hours but without the friendly customer service. Too bad not all CVS's are created equal. read more

Worst customer service I've had in a long time. Uncaring, snotty cashiers that don't seem to understand the banking system. Didn't seem to understand the difference between debit and credit. When I asked if they could tell me how much an item was (none of the items I saw in the clearance section were marked) she told me there was a scanner over there, and "waved" me over there towards the general direction. I seemed to be a bother to her.. There were no other customers that needed to be waited on at the time. I will never be going back to that location. read more

This is one of the best pharmacies around. The pharmacist, Jerry, is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate pharmacists I've met. They have a good variety of medication in stock that most pharmacies have to order. Super convenient and my scripts are always done on time. Never had any issue in the 6 years we have lived in the area and we have a household of 5. I was actually forced to switch pharmacies because I got new insurance, and I very much miss this CVS and Jerry. You can't beat this CVS's exceptional selection and personable staff. read more

I was forced into using CVS as part of our insurance. It's not that I've had horrible experiences, it's just that the customer service isn't great. Half the time they take forever searching for a prescription that they called and told me was ready. There is usually a long line at this location- if it takes 20 minutes to fill something, they should suggest to customers to pull around and wait in the parking lot. Instead, the line builds up and the rest of us get stuck waiting. The techs are never particularly friendly and can be hard to understand. They've lost prescriptions before, canceled orders, etc. I would recommend staying away from this location, I am in the process of transferring my Rx's over to another place! read more

Jaylen in the pharmacy was amazing! I went to pick up my rx and with no insurance it was quite expensive. He was awesome and took the time to help me find a coupon and cut my cost almost in half!
