I stopped using them a long time ago, but my doctor's office accidentally sent a prescription here, so unfortunately I had to deal with them again. When I arrived, they told me they never received the prescription, so I had to call my doctor's office. They confirmed it had, in fact, been sent. It was in their in box that they never checked. This was after waiting in line for about 20 minutes. First, I was told it would take an hour. Then they changed that to a "guaranteed" time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. I went home and called before making the trip back. After being on hold for quite a while, I was told it still wasn't ready. When I asked if the guaranteed time was when I could realistically expect it to be filled, I was told no it would probably be another 45 minutes beyond that. So the timeline went from 1 hour, to a guaranteed 1 hour 45 minutes, to "realistically" closer to 9:15 p.m. If the guaranteed time doesn't actually mean anything, why give it? To make matters worse, I try to run errands during the day for safety reasons. Having to make multiple unnecessary trips because of poor communication is frustrating and inconvenient. This experience reminded me exactly why I stopped using this pharmacy in the first place.

I was fully ready to write a terrible review and move all of our family's prescriptions to CVS because the treatment I witnessed and personally received was completely unacceptable. However, everything changed because of one African American staff member this angle name was D'Anna. She overheard my interaction with another employee and immediately stepped in with empathy and urgency. She went above and beyond to try to accommodate my needs, even attempting to arrange free delivery of my daughters medication after clearly seeing that I had two toddlers under the age of 4 and being pregnant (in my 7th month). Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care completely shifted the experience. If it were not for D'Anna, I would have stopped using this pharmacy altogether. She is the only reason I am giving this location any credit at all. Walgreens should take a serious look at how customers are being treated and recognize employees like D'Anna who actually embody compassion and excellence customer service!

Despite having a scheduled appointment, we were not seen until 4:15 PM--an exact wait time of 1 hour and 45 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. To add to the frustration, another patient in the waiting room had a 3:10 PM appointment and was also still waiting to be seen. During this time, Greta spent approximately 40 minutes laughing and chatting with another patient while multiple patients remained in the waiting area. When I respectfully addressed the excessive wait time, I was met with a nasty and dismissive attitude rather than professionalism or an explanation. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, after the patient before me left, it appeared that my daughter and I were next in the queue. However, Greta attempted to call another patient ahead of us and stated that someone else was before us, despite the check-in screen indicating otherwise. The individual she referenced appeared last in the queue and was not even present at the time. My preteen daughter was there for a physical--the same type of physical I brought her to this location for last year. I was then told that the protocol had changed and that Greta could not complete my daughter's physical without a specific school form being completely filled out. The practitioner who completed my daughter's physical last year did not require this form, so this was frustrating and unexpected. Throughout our interaction, Greta also repeatedly vented to both me and my preteen daughter about working alone on a Saturday and not receiving a lunch break. While I understand that staffing challenges and working conditions can be difficult, it is inappropriate to place those frustrations on patients, especially in front of a child. Those concerns should be addressed with management--not repeatedly discussed with patients who are simply there to receive care. I understand that healthcare professionals can have busy and stressful days, and I am sympathetic to being short-staffed. However, patients should still be treated with courtesy, honesty, professionalism, and respect. More importantly, MinuteClinic's appointment scheduling and patient queue process need to be seriously reviewed. If patients can schedule appointments days in advance and still wait nearly two hours to be seen, while the order of patients being called does not appear to match the queue displayed on the screen, there is clearly an issue that needs to be addressed. Overall, this was an extremely unprofessional experience. I hope MinuteClinic management takes this complaint seriously and reviews both the conduct displayed during this visit and the appointment/check-in process at this location.

The employees are always helpful and kind. Sometimes when it's not so busy, they will be restocking. Please call out to them instead of just waiting. It's ok. :) Don't get suckered in that holiday aisle!!! Any holiday!! Oh I have used their app to order photos and man, they were fast!!! Like a couple of hours!!! You go in, pay and pick them up. There is a Redbox with two units also. It's just outside the doors. Parking is always open. This Walgreens does close. The only 24 one with a 24hr pharmacy is on 518 & Hughes. FYI.

What really pisses me off is the fact that I called in to refill my pharmacy yesterday and was told that the pharmacy needed to reorder more medications because they had run out and were told that they didn't have any emergency doses available. I was told that I would receive a call indicating once the medications had been received. Guess what?! At noon, I haven't received any calls, texts, or emails from Walgreens Pharmacy. Meaning, I missed two doses of life-threatening medications. Of course, I called the pharmacy to verify and spoke with the head pharmacist and she acted like she didn't know anything. Just pathetic. A pharmacist with years of schooling and she doesn't even know what's going on. She told me that my prescription was ready to be picked up by Saturday. I asked why wasn't I notified, and all she could say was, "I'm sorry, it is ready now". There's a lot of miscommunication and incoherence taking place at this pharmacy.
