I like the way they combine the drive-through and in-store line (meaning alternate who they are serving), when they have less workers. The drive through employees are nice and the pharmacists seem to really care. I have only had slow people a few times and it is not because they are goofing off. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Greta Adams, a practitioner at MinuteClinic. I scheduled my daughter's appointment four days in advance for 2:30 PM. Despite having a scheduled appointment, we were not seen until 4:15 PM--an exact wait time of 1 hour and 45 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. To add to the frustration, another patient in the waiting room had a 3:10 PM appointment and was also still waiting to be seen. During this time, Greta spent approximately 40 minutes laughing and chatting with another patient while multiple patients remained in the waiting area. When I respectfully addressed the excessive wait time, I was met with a nasty and dismissive attitude rather than professionalism or an explanation. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, after the patient before me left, it appeared that my daughter and I were next in the queue. However, Greta attempted to call another patient ahead of us and stated that someone else was before us, despite the check-in screen indicating otherwise. The individual she referenced appeared last in the queue and was not even present at the time. My preteen daughter was there for a physical--the same type of physical I brought her to this location for last year. I was then told that the protocol had changed and that Greta could not complete my daughter's physical without a specific school form being completely filled out. The practitioner who completed my daughter's physical last year did not require this form, so this was frustrating and unexpected. Throughout our interaction, Greta also repeatedly vented to both me and my preteen daughter about working alone on a Saturday and not receiving a lunch break. While I understand that staffing challenges and working conditions can be difficult, it is inappropriate to place those frustrations on patients, especially in front of a child. Those concerns should be addressed with management--not repeatedly discussed with patients who are simply there to receive care. I understand that healthcare professionals can have busy and stressful days, and I am sympathetic to being short-staffed. However, patients should still be treated with courtesy, honesty, professionalism, and respect. More importantly, MinuteClinic's appointment scheduling and patient queue process need to be seriously reviewed. If patients can schedule appointments days in advance and still wait nearly two hours to be seen, while the order of patients being called does not appear to match the queue displayed on the screen, there is clearly an issue that needs to be addressed. Overall, this was an extremely unprofessional experience. I hope MinuteClinic management takes this complaint seriously and reviews both the conduct displayed during this visit and the appointment/check-in process at this location. read more

It's obsolete to close down a place of business because of lunch. Use shifts so while some employees eat at one time, others are available, then switch. They do this elsewhere. Closing the Pharmacy drive thru from 1:30-2pm for lunch is too 1985. read more

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but the manager, Jeanelle, was exceptionally rude and unprofessional. I came to process a return for photos that I had ordered for print. Some of them were missing and some had been printed poorly. I will say that my order was 2 months ago, but it was meant as a gift for the holidays so we didn't notice these issues until after the holidays. The cashier, Larry, was so helpful, but he ended up needing to ask for help. Jeanelle arrived to help and immediately assumed Larry did something wrong, speaking quite condescendingly. Then, she kept talking about me in front of me. She would say to Larry "why did she wait two months to return this". As she walked away, she not so quietly under her breath muttered "I don't know why she would wait two months to do a return". This entire interaction was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I even said to Larry "I'm sorry that you have to work with her because wow, she has an attitude". Her behavior makes me never want to come back to this CVS. I want to point out that Larry was incredibly helpful and professional, and I really appreciated his kindness despite his manager's poor attitude. read more

This review is based on the online experience and pick up, which I would NOT recommend. There were several digital coupons and deals on items that I use and even a pick up order coupon that could be combined with the deals and coupons I had, so it was a great bargain-- unless you need to make a return or exchange. When I picked up the order, I know what I intended to order, but of course in a rush, one of the items I ordered was the wrong shade of concealer. Mind you, I told the young lady waiting on me that I was going to check my order before I left. I didn't even leave the store. I opened my bag, saw one of the items was not correct, checked my order confirmation to ensure it was not the store's mistake versus mine, picked up the item I needed, and got back in line. When I finally was waited on, first then she asked me had the product been opened. You all remember I didnt even leave the store to check my order...I figured maybe she had a long day so I politely said no. Still I had such a hassle to do an exchange. The barcode that was suppose to be used to return an item would not work. Mind you I had my phone on the highest brightnest and the young lady even tried to type in the order number manually. Finally, her resolve was to return the item like I didnt have a receipt, so I had to show my ID, she gave me a gift card then attempted to process the purchase but needed a manager's approval. Some more waiting. When the manager finally came, the young told her she just needed her approval. The manager asked why and the young lady had to explain what happened. The manager continues to tell me that I need a receipt. I'm laughed then said I had one digitally that didn't work. Her response was that the purchase isn't connected to the receipt and I need a receipt in order to get a return. This was so absurd to me for the manager to say this since the young lady had already went through the processes to verify the purchase, saw it was a technical glitch beyond my control, and had came up with a solution that I agreed upon. All the manager needed to do was approve the purchase, not give me a ludacris response like I was being reasonable or combative. I finally stated to her I had no issue on how they were resolving the issue; she just needs you to approve the purchase. The manager typed in her approval and left. I told her thank you, but really did not like her attitude. She assumed I had an issue when it was the receipt that CVS sent electronically. I did not appreciate the assumptions and attempt to not give me some sort of resolution to my issue. I hope the young lady that was waiting on me becomes a manager and the current one that I dealt with gets her attitide checked. Learn how to listen and provide customer service that makes people come back. Definetly will think twice of going to this store and will think long and hard ordering online. read more

We waited in line at the pharmacy window for 30 minutes before the first car was serviced. When I called inside to let the pharmacist know "we're doing the best we can". Does not answer phone calls. You must have a authorization number before anyone will answer me. You must have a 10 digit before you can speak to a person. Scheduled a covid test here, they canceled it a few hours before I was supposed to show up then text me an hour later confirming the appointment. When I arrived no one was there so I went inside and waited for 25 minutes just for them to tell me it is canceled and that I need to reschedule. As a pharmacy caring for and dispensing medications to the elderly, the employees should be helpful to customers. I spoke to Anthony today and asked if I could get my medications grouped together to pick up all at one visit to the pharmacy. He was not helpful at all and implied that he doesn't make the rules. He did not even try. He was thru with the conversation in that I would have to either wait until they were all refillable (which means there would be a week without my heart medication) or return to the pharmacy as each prescription was ready to be picked up. I love shopping here, most of the items i needed to buy are in stock. The aisles look very presentable and organized. The store is clean and always smells good, better than other pharmacy. And mostly i would like to make a shoutot to the employee name Michelle, she is very friendly and greets people with a smile. Whenever i go to this store, she always ask how am i doing and make a very pleasant conversation with customers. And for the Self Check out machine she is very helpful, and makes people comfortable using it. This store store is a nice store to shop because of her friendliness! I live about 1/4 mi from this CVS and use it for things like gallons of milk or quick OTC meds because they are 24 hours. Having 2 Redboxes is great, too. However, when it comes to *prescriptions*, I cross the freeway and seek THE OTHER CVS, 4 congested miles away. Quite simply, Silverlake CVS' success rate at filling a Rx is about 50/50. Like other reviewers, my complaints are a culmination of wrong meds, wrong dosages, and lost prescriptions - those guys ain't kidding! I get that they are busy, and I allocate sometimes 12-24 hours before expecting my Rx at this location, but when it still isn't right and the recourse is painful, I feel like I need a cocktail just to take the edge away... I'd bet you a CVS buck that if you drive over to the OTHER CVS you'd get a much better prescriptive experience. I am forced to do it quite often. It's been like this for years, actually. Stop in to their photo department around the holidays and see what kind of confusion is brewing. It's nice that you could send your online photos to the store for pickup, but it'd be nicer if that had a good success rate too. We've waited days after being quoted hours. It doesn't help that the merchandise stock at this store is less, too. I had a relative scour the advertisements for deals and would skip right over our store since they were always picked over with the deals. I do agree that some of the staff are friendly and the general store is not that busy. But for what really matters when you need it, they aren't good for that. read more

I found the store incredibly well stocked, especially as compared to other stores I've been shopping at these last few years. The staff were all very nice and super helpful. The pharmacist went out of his way to help me with something that I could have done myself on-line when I got home. And he offered, I didn't even have to ask. This is by far the worst Pharmacy I have ever seen. If they have your medication in stock then you may not have a issue but they are always out. Every month I have the same prescription, I cannot understand why they always have to order it. The first time I called it in 7 days in advance, they didn't order the prescription until day 10. They told me I can get 10 pills for the full copay. When they finally got the order in, I had to pay the same full copay for the remainder 20 pills. This time I ordered the prescription over two weeks in advance. I received several alerts that I had one day to pick up before they canceled it. Once I arrived and waited in line over 20 minutes the pharmacist tells me they just placed the order that day. It's a joke, I will take my money else where. Someone keeps dropping the ball and I have to suffer when I did my part. read more

This CVS is incredible in that they have somehow gathered together the most unhappy group of pharmacy techs the world has ever seen. I think they might be trying to form their own Justice League of rudeness. This CVS is right by my house and I stop in all the time for little things I need and the front staff are great. So feel free to stop in for a water or a snack or a Blu-Ray from the RedBox out front...I just would not recommend filling your prescription here, at all. read more

This is probably the most critical review I have ever written but after my experience, I feel that it is justified. The incompetency of the pharmacy staff amazes me. This is by far, the worst, most awful CVS pharmacy I have ever, ever gone to. 1) The first time I went to this CVS, I dropped off my prescription and was told to pick it up an hour later. I arrive an hour later, and they lady at the pharmacy counter told me they haven't even TYPED IN my prescription yet. I look over at the lady who I gave the prescription to (and the one who is suppose to type it in) and she's busy talking to her friend about non-work related things on the phone. Really? So unprofessional. They then told me to wait 10 minutes while they get my prescription ready. 40 minutes later, the pharmacist tells me that they don't have my prescription and I would have to wait until tomorrow to pick up my prescription. I just wasted over an hour at the CVS for absolutely nothing. 2) Giving them the benefit of a doubt for this terrible example of laziness and not doing their job, I dropped off my prescription to them a second time. This time, my doctor wrote two prescriptions on one prescription sheet, and when I came back to pick up my prescriptions, only one of the prescriptions was filled. The same lady obviously doesn't fully read or is too lazy to fully read the prescription because had she bothered to read the second line of the prescription sheet, it would in fact say that I have another prescription bottle to be filled. The lady at the counter than told me to wait 10 minutes while my second prescription bottle was being filled. 30 minutes later, I finally get my correct prescription. After looking up this CVS, I see the other (unsurprisingly) 1 star reviews this location has gotten. One of the reviews states that they actually give people the WRONG prescription. After the two incidents that happened to me, I'm not surprised they would do this. Look CVS pharmacy staff, you are dealing with medication that impacts people's health and lives. You should not be on the phone talking to your friend during work when you have prescriptions that need to be typed in. You should not be REPEATEDLY wasting people's time lying to them about only needing to wait 10 minutes when it's usually 30-40 minutes. And you should be thoroughly reading and typing in each prescription. Get your act together. read more

I have been a customer of CVS Pharmacy (Silverlake Store/Pearland, TX 77584) since moving to this area over 7 years ago; and a customer of CVS in general for over 10 years. I am the type of person who spends money where I get the best customer service, and up until the last year they had excellent customer service. But recently they have changed over the entire pharmacy staff, and it is atrocious to say the least. There have been many mistakes such as almost giving me someone else's prescription, which was a narcotic. I only caught it when as I was walking away I realized the cost was off and stopped to check it. Situations like this have happened twice in the last several months. I used to love this store, but since the staffing change, most pharmacy employees are rude, abrupt, and very much lacking people skills. I have even contacted the Regional Manager of the pharmacy, Nandin Kumar, who was very apologetic when I explained the situations I was experiencing, and even said he would have the pharmacy manager call me directly so she could get my feedback, and hopefully improve their performance. THAT WAS A HORRIBLE MISTAKE. When the manager called me, she proceeded to talk about how much better they were doing since she took over, she had never heard any complaints like this, and how there 'METRICS' showed they were doing a better job than the previous staff. As a consumer and long time customer I could care less about her metrics, and told her that was irrelevant, and that I was a customer expressing my complaints and that her METRICS were not attempting to address the things I was experiencing and had expressed to her regional manager and now to her. I can now see why most of the employees in the pharmacy have horrible customer service skills, because employees reflect the attitudes and personalities of their leader,...the manager. The experience I just had tonight was horrible too, and the very last time I will spend a penny at a CVS Pharmacy. I can take my business to someplace that will at least treat me with dignity and respect. The 'woman' at the drive through window was rude, and loud. It is very rarely that I let anyone get me upset over a pharmacy issue, but this person really 'pissed me off'! CVS is not worth my time or money anymore. I've always filled my prescriptions at Walgreens, however, my new insurance favors CVS. I can't help but compare the two, not just this location but in general. At Walgreens I could wait for my prescription, 10 mins maximum. At CVS I'm told to come back in a few hours, which usually ends up being more like 24-48 hours and as much as a week! A week for a prescription, medicine that is important for my well being! Hmmm, doesn't make much sense. So besides the fact that they are incredibly slow, they're rude and act like they're inconvenienced to do their job. It's normal to have off days so I usually extend a bit of grace, but the staff here seem to always be off their game. read more

I struggle to write this review because one employee was polite, but the rest were not. The first employee was so rude and seemed to hate her job and did not like the fact that I was bothering her. She said they would call when the prescription was "transferred" from my previous pharmacy. I called the next day and was told that it was ready to pick up but I needed three different codes/numbers from insurance company. I called my insurance company to get them,. My insurance company actually put me on hold and called CVS with the #'s for me. I then went to pick it up about 30 minutes later. I was told that they did not fill the order yet and it would be 15-20 minutes. That was finally the truth and the one employee that seemed to care had it done in just under 15 minutes. Worst piece of crap place ever! Do not ever get labs or vaccines done here. I took my sister in law here. The minute clinic has no direct number and when you do reach someone they hang up on you! The doctor at this minute clinic scammed $60 from my sister in law all in the name of referring her to quest diagnostics down the street to end up paying $108 additionally to have her labs drawn! We tried to fill a prescription here and were told that they had to order the medication, which was fine. It was supposed to arrive within 4 days. A week later we were told it was still not in and after looking more into it found out that it was never ordered and that the person who orders medications was on vacation for two more weeks. We ultimately had to return to the store and pick up the written prescription to get it filled elsewhere. We will not return to this location. read more

The reviews are right. Standing in line for 10 minutes while 3 people worked on the same "first" customer. I was 5th in line. The phone was ringing when I had arrived and it announced "one pharmacy call" every 10-15 seconds. This continued for about 15 minutes. Then another call came in, now it says "two pharmacy calls". So much for my sanity. Of course I did eventually get to the front and of course it wasn't ready. "Please have a seat, it'll be a few minutes" but just like the others, 30 minutes later I was released from this punishment. And in case you were wondering. No one ever answered the calls. By the time I left it was "Three pharmacy calls". This will be in my nightmares tonight for sure. They must have been desperate. read more

I made an appointment online and got there 15 minutes before my appointment. I then waited 85 minutes for the Minute Clinic. After 30 minutes of waiting, the nurse came out of a room with nobody in it and brought in a girl that was apparently already in there once. I gave it 55 more minutes and then gave up. If you're not going to be seeing patients and then are going to take that long for a single patient, that's a bit ridiculous to me. I hope the girl in the room when I left is ok, she seemed fine in the waiting area. I won't be back, just an awful experience. Based on the other reviews on here and my experience, CVS needs to work on this location a LOT. I recommend staying away! read more

The few but critical times I needed the Minute Clinic because of the sudden on surge of cold, flu, strep throat, and allergic reactions have been very convenient and god send. It's a basic setup but they try to get you in and out. Depending on how many people are waiting but they have a kiosk for you to sign in. They also call you two days later to check up on you. Even my primary care doctor does not do that and makes me wait an hour even though I have an appointment. The pharmacy is okay. I've never had any problems using this pharmacy (10+ years now). read more

Had a very bad experience at this pharmacy. I was shorted pills, and when I called they were rude and insisted they made no error and I was probably counting wrong. My medication is not a narcotic or controlled substance; it's a medication that I need every single day, but they were very rude and told me they are hand counted and there's no way they would've made a mistake. Never once did they offer to recount their inventory or try to offer any other solution besides having me pay out of pocket for the missing pills. Terrible service. I went to Pearland Parkway Location for TB test. I signed up and waited for more than 1h 30 min. I was in the screen marked as next patient At 1:07 and the lunch time for staff Was 1:30 pm. They said that I have to wait until 2:40 for the test. They had 23 minutes left, and after I explained I am living more than 40 min away, they decided to didn't attended me. This is really disappointing. read more
