I had a very disappointing experience with this Walgreens pharmacy while trying to pick up a prescription for my daughters. From Saturday through Monday, I came in repeatedly and was met with staff who were cold, nonchalant, and dismissive and acted as if they were robots. It truly felt like customers were treated as numbers rather than human beings. My children don't often get sick so this experience was especially upsetting, and the lack of compassion from most of the staff was alarming. I was fully ready to write a terrible review and move all of our family's prescriptions to CVS because the treatment I witnessed and personally received was completely unacceptable. However, everything changed because of one African American staff member this angle name was D'Anna. She overheard my interaction with another employee and immediately stepped in with empathy and urgency. She went above and beyond to try to accommodate my needs, even attempting to arrange free delivery of my daughters medication after clearly seeing that I had two toddlers under the age of 4 and being pregnant (in my 7th month). Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care completely shifted the experience. If it were not for D'Anna, I would have stopped using this pharmacy altogether. She is the only reason I am giving this location any credit at all. Walgreens should take a serious look at how customers are being treated and recognize employees like D'Anna who actually embody compassion and excellence customer service! read more

This is by far the most frustrating pharmacy experience I've ever had. For two consecutive days, I've called repeatedly, only for someone to answer the phone and immediately put me on hold without saying a single word. No greeting, no acknowledgment--just silence and hold music. Sometimes it rings again, they pick up, and do the exact same thing. This is a pharmacy, not a casual retail store. People are calling because they need their prescriptions, and being treated like this is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. If the staff doesn't want to be there, they should find another job and let someone who actually cares do the work. What we did not expect was the dismissiveness and lack of care from Amy--the tech who informed that our medication was not there. No effort. No verification. Not even the basic courtesy of checking the system properly. Minutes after leaving, frustrated and overwhelmed, I received a text confirming the prescription was indeed available to be filled. This was not a system delay. This was human error, caused by an employee who should have taken an additional 10 seconds to look deeper. And ironically, after I left, that's exactly what she did; manually pulled the prescription over, something she could have done while I stood at the counter. This is not a one-off mistake. A glance at the reviews shows a clear pattern: this location repeatedly fails at the very thing a pharmacy must do right--accuracy and accountability. Parents, caregivers, and community members deserve better than negligence disguised as "busy mornings." After nearly four hours, I finally called and spoke with the manager Dan who informed me the medication had been sent to the central processing facility but was available and could be picked up in 15 minutes. Experiencing this was already horrific but what I witnessed during the wait was even worse. I watched elderly customers struggle with impatient staff members. An older gentleman, moving slowly, was spoken to loudly enough by Donna for the entire line to hear--zero privacy, zero empathy. Another elderly woman had stood so long that she asked me to hold her place while she rested. This is not "customer service." This is disregard. Walgreens leadership--store management, district management, whoever claims responsibility--this review is for you: This location has become a community concern. Not a minor inconvenience. A concern! Your pharmacy staff must be able to perform essential tasks correctly, communicate professionally, and show basic human compassion. Right now, they are failing at all three. Our community deserves a pharmacy that treats accuracy as non-negotiable and people--children, parents, and seniors--with dignity. Until that happens, I will not be returning. Very lazy. Claimed they did not have prescriptions for me and two other patients. Mind you these are very basic prescriptions. When I told them my Dr. said they were supposed to be filled yesterday they suddenly were going to have them available the same night. Very lazy staffing. I came by at 5:40 to pick up my prescription (closes at 6) and they had already closed down the drive thru. When I came in to get my prescription, it was clear that both the pharmacist and pharm tech saw that I had been out there with my car and chose not to help. Refused to fill medication after speaking to the ordering physician. The meds were filled there one month earlier without issue. I had been getting my meds there for years but the pharmacy took my life into their hands and I suffered because of it. Why be a pharmacist if you can ignore the doctor and cause people unnecessary pain? There was no consult with me and no one bothered to tell me the policy that allowed the pharmacist to play with my life. This had nothing to do with religious beliefs. This had to do with the pharmacy assuming they knew my medical history better than my doctor. With the ability to see my previous medication history the pharmacy still decided they were going to play with my life. This pharmacy has turned into a dumpster fire. read more

Unprofessional, unhelpful, inefficient. I called this location and was on hold for 31 minutes before someone decided to answer the phone. They kept picking it up and placing it on hold without actually answering. By this point I drove to the location and there was NO line in the store and 1 car in the drive through. Apparently there are no rules or expectations for the workers to follow and they assist customers when they feel like it! read more

This is my local drug store and I've never experienced a problem here. Lines are never long inside. I have never used the drive thru so I can't speak on that. Shelves are always stocked. I'm greeted each time I enter. For me it's an easy in and out. read more

Came here to grab some powdered Tylenol for our sick child. There was a sale on both the name brand and the Walgreens brand. Tylenol was buy one, get second one 25% off. Walgreens brand was buy one, get second one 50% off. Unfortunately, there was only one package of the Tylenol. I grabbed both the Tylenol AND the generic brand, hoping they'd give me the Walgreens one for at least the 25% off. Nope. They can't do that at least the guy at the register was friendly when he delivered me the bad news. Overall, high prices. Checked out a humidifier filter and it was $13.99. Quickly checked my Walmart app for the same product and it was $6.52 there. All in all, if you need something quick and don't mind paying more, come on in. Hopefully they'll have what you need in stock. read more

Pharmacists Juanita and Borin were so generous with their time, hunting down my medications and explaining what had happened with a closed prescription, reopened it and preauthorized it. Its because I was also gentle and patient with them. Maribel was also wonderful at the window, helping me bring a $500 item down to $33 with my insurance. They are doing good work, and not just with me, but all the people in line beside me. read more

For the true rating it deserves, deduct one star from the above rating. This is a review in the pharmacy and not truly the store itself. The store itself I would give a 3 due to higher prices than the competitors and always long lines. The pharmacy, OMG, I don't even know where to begin. The line has 8 people in it which took 40 minutes for me to get to the front because they didn't have ANYONE's prescription ready (mine included). They claimed they could not find my prescription. When I explained my doctors office sent it electronically an hour and 53 minutes prior she all of a sudden found it and said "oh we received it at 2:39". Just FYI, it WAS 2:39 when she told me that. Unfortunately for BCBSTX members we don't have much of a choice but to put up with a pharmacy that takes no pride in the company and has no compassion for their customers that are sick and don't want to drive 30 minutes home to drive 30 minutes back for a prescription that will be ready in an hour and a half. If you call the store to inquire whether your prescription is available they'll put you on hold, answer the phone and place you hold again, until they eventually hang up on you. It's literally the worst place I have ever dealt with! the pharmacy takes forever they're so slow, every time you call they take forever to answer, when waiting in the drive through I've waited 30 min plus. I have been trying to get a certain medication for over a month there were no problems with the doctors end or my insurance company strictly Walgreens. Every time they would tell me it's something wrong with there computer. Then when they tell me it's ready for pick up I would never be able to pick it up. One of the pharmacist had my medicine in hand and said "sorry ma'am we have to fill it" but it was already filled. It's all BS at this location. This pharmacy has to be the worst. Make sure you are verifying all the meds you're paying for. The pharmacist filled the wrong rx and then was curt when I informed him that the rx was incorrect. Every time I come here it's a disappointment. I had to drive to the pharmacy because every time I called they would either put me on hold for an extremely long time without saying anything when they pickup the phone OR they would just hang up on me. When I arrived through the drive thru she said it would be 45 minutes so I waited because I don't live near by. Well an hour and 15 minutes later my pre-made bottle of cough syrup was ready. They only had one pharmacist on duty and she had not taken her break because she was eating chips while filling the prescriptions. Walgreens needs to do better!! If my insurance would allow me to use another pharmacy I would do it in a heartbeat. read more

Wish I could give this Walgreens location 0 stars. My husband and I were traveling to Seattle and needed to get a negative covid test. I made my husband an appointment for 3:45 on a Thursday. He pulled into the drive-thru on time and there were 3 cars in front of him. He waited in line for 45 minutes and was not seen for his appointment. He decided to leave and come back. By the time he came back, it was 6:00 and they told him they could not do his test because they don't do any appointments after 5:00. It's not like he was a walk-in...he had an appointment. This really put us in a tough predicament. Most other places that do covid tests were closed. I do not appreciate how unhelpful the Walgreens employees were. I placed an order for curbside pickup at 10am. I received confirmation (via text and email) that my order was received and that was it. 8 hrs later when I got off I realized I hadn't received any further communication about my order. Did some digging and found out it was cancelled. Reason given was the items were out of stock which is fine but it's the lack of communication because I could have easily found a solution so I wouldn't have to scramble on what to do once I got off and headed home. And now the app isn't working I doubt if I'll ever give this location my business. read more

I cannot figure out why, but if you come to this walgreens, you will wait a long time. There seems to be usually one person working the registers and sometimes one or two working to drive through. When there is one person working the register and one person working the drive through you're going to wait at least a half an hour if you have more than two people in front of you. I wish I could go back to the CVS across the street, because I never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes there. read more
