They had me so stressed out the other day because of their own staff's incompetency. They will belittle you on the phone and say you said "this and that" when I know good and well, I didn't request my med to be transferred. I was literally dying with COVID and needed my medicine. Beware of Ashley H , a pharm tech. She has the worst attitude ever and will make you cry and wish you had chosen another pharmacy altogether and then not give our meds that were already ready! The pharmacy tech Ashley Herrera License Number: 317965 needs an adjustment or to be retrained. I have already contacted corporate and complained several times because this is NOT the first time she has done this to my family.

Here is the issue, over the last three months I have been caught off guard by people begging for money outside . Please note that I understand that times are hard, gas is high, inflation is kicking everyone in the rear . However , today was the first time that I felt somewhat let's just say very uncomfortable . While getting in my truck i had an individual ride up on a bike and ask me for money . He somewhat blocked me from shutting the door . When I refused to give him money he seemed to get even a little more aggravated . If it wasn't for someone pulling into the parking lot next to me he decided to ride away . So if you're using this Walgreens , please use caution . Park on the side that is well lighted if you go at night . Better off may want to not be alone or go during the day time . This guy may have been down on his luck and truly needed help . Lord knows that I have been there . There is a difference between asking for help and demanding money . Never did the words can you spare a couple of buck come out . It was I need $5 dollars I know you got $5 dollars . I don't need the harsh comments that you must have never been poor before . Just thought that a would be afraid if this would have happened to my wife or kids .

After wasting 3 hours at Galveston Walgreens & La Marque CVS declined to even attempt to fill, in a last ditch effort, I visited Walmart La Marque pharmacy at Dr. Wen's urging. First impression: 3 pharmacy techs and 1 pharmacist all efficiently occupied. Pharmacy very clean and well-organized. Además, y es algo muy importante, todos los carteles están en español e inglés. También parece posible que al menos uno de los técnicos pueda traducir si es necesario. 2 people in line and out in less than 3 minutes. Ok, so far, so good. I was greeted warmly and professionally by Melody, the tech. (No "I hate my job & I hate serving customers" vibes here like the previous places). I gave her the script and the attached Dr. 's instructions, she asked me the appropriate questions to build a profile since I'd never visited there before, and voila! In less than 30 minutes I was walking out with an eloquently thorough consultation by RPh Jay Patel, two new prescriptions, the joy & relief of knowing I'm going to feel better soon, and all the pleasantries to boot. While I'm so extremely grateful for this wonderful experience I'm saddened by the reality that great service is no longer the norm but rather the exception. Thank you, La Marque WalMart Pharmacy, for being that exception. It matters very much to this patient desperately needing medication.

A few weeks ago I had a 40-minute wait experience with Walgreens followed by a short "We don't…read morecover you. Call this number." conversation regarding my prescription pick-up. So I turned to the internet to find a new provider for my medication. Samuel provided great customer service to include calling my insurance provider himself to make sure that I was covered under my insurance. That was awesome. Then last week I went to pick up my prescription and the order, while correct in terms of being a generic version of my medication, wasn't exactly what I use and myself and the pharmacist did not want to alter anything since even slight changes in meds can be difficult on the body. So the pharmacist (I believe his name is Dr. Nguyen) went out of his way to find my exact medication, check to make sure it was covered, and then ordered it to be picked up two days later. Thank you for providing great customer and healthcare service!
