We arrived at the drive-thru recently to pick up a prescription for our daughter, and we were greeted by Valerie. Since it's that time of year when medical plans roll over, she initially thought that the script wasn't covered. We let her know that it was in fact covered, and she very politely asked us to hold tight while she did some research. Long story short, she handled everything, and we drove away with a prescription that was covered by insurance. Insurance companies are the epitome of evil with their ever-changing coverage allowances. We pay exorbitant premiums, and then they decide to not cover something because it would affect their bottom line. But I digress. When it comes to prescriptions, this store is one of the better ones within 2-3 local zip codes. And a special shout-out to Valerie. She's an outstanding ambassador.

Even on my latest visit, when my prescription had a "hold" on it (whatever that means), Danielle let me know that she could have it filled in the next half hour. She was also apologetic, despite that this issue was no fault of hers. I have had plenty of experiences here over the years with pharmacy employees who were churlish and surly. I am hopeful that those days are finally over at this location. After all, it costs nothing to be friendly and polite.
