This update is based on my last few drive-thru prescription pick-ups -- which were quite positive. In particular, Danielle has taken care of me, and she has been fabulous. Even on my latest visit, when my prescription had a "hold" on it (whatever that means), Danielle let me know that she could have it filled in the next half hour. She was also apologetic, despite that this issue was no fault of hers. I have had plenty of experiences here over the years with pharmacy employees who were churlish and surly. I am hopeful that those days are finally over at this location. After all, it costs nothing to be friendly and polite. read more

The CVS pharmacy was NOT considerate of my situation, therefore I will no longer be coming back. I walked into the store to buy CVS vitamins and pick up 2 prescriptions that had been called in by my doctor. I walked in about 1:15. I had trouble Finding my vitamins on the shelf because of ALL those tags in front of every bottle. I went to find the nice lady at the registrar who came to help me. She even had difficulty but found them on another isle. At approx 1:30 I walked behind a lady who was being served and that's when I was told by the Black lady I could not be waited on because it was lunch time and they had to eat. The phone service is horrible! Iv called 5 times and never got ahold of the pharmacy department nor anyone at all period. I used to go to the deer park one a lot when I lived over there and never had an issue with calling the pharmacy and them answering or anyone!! Don't wait your time calling. Would give zero stars if possible. Provider sent in a short term refill for a medication. Pharmacy didn't fill it because of the cost, as it isn't covered by my insurance. They did not bother to contact me and ask me. I had to call them to find out the situation. Fast forward one week. Provider sent over multiple prescriptions. Again, no contact from the pharmacy to let me know they were ready. I called them and was told that they were all ready but that I needed to bring in my insurance card. Went to the pharmacy and was told that only 2 of the 4 were ready. Not five seconds later, I was told that they found my insurance information online and that it would take about 30 minutes to process them, including the two that were ready. I went home, then called the pharmacy and asked them to update my information to actually contact me when any future prescriptions were ready or if they needed further information to process. They asked for my phone number which I provided. They said that they already had the number on file. Total incompetence. Nonexistent customer service. Highly recommend you drive a little longer to another pharmacy so that you don't experience the same aggravation I had to endure. read more

Pharmacy never answer the phone when you call. So you have to waist time to drive up there to she if they have filled a prescription and get told no. The technician stated they wanted to verify the doctor meant to write the prescription for pain medication in that strength. If I could a specific pharmacist a 0 rating it would have to be a lady named Erica who works in the pharmacy area, she has a really bad attitude every time I come to get my prescriptions, she wants to argue with me about the cost of my prescription when I ask her nicely to please put my prescription on my good RX that they have on file she argues with me every time that they don't do good RX anymore I told her I'm aware of that, but mine is on file and y'all still use it it's a constant battle with this lady. Her demeanor is super rude and aggressive.... I never have any problem out of the other pharmacist who work there they're always super nice but every time I get a hold of this one lady Erica it's a consistent battle. I don't see how she still works here with that kind of attitude i've let it go a long time now, but somebody needs to talk to her. That's why I'm writing today. I saw my radiation oncologist today and he prescribed another medication for me because there's some issues coming up with my prostate cancer. He sent a prescription into this CVS pharmacy at approximately 3 o'clock this afternoon. I received a text message from CVS saying that the prescription would be ready at 7:55 this evening. However, it's now 7:21 this evening and I got online to find out where my prescription is. Their website informed me the drug was out of stock. I called CVS and I asked them. Why wasn't I notified that the drug was out of stock the person hung up on me. The pharmacy attendant hung up on me. This has happened before at the CVS. I hate this damn pharmacy. Was going to take a trip to South Africa in 2020. I asked CVS pharmacy if they had a preventative for malaria. Yes, they had hydroxychloroquine. My trip was delayed due to Covid for a year. In 2021 I asked for the malaria medicine. Now they had no hydroxy and it would have to be ordered. Long story short - I never got it. CVS is into politics and overruled my doctor. This is specifically about the minute clinic. I do know this is during Covid but it would be nice if they actually cared about their patients... Husband went was told would be about 45 mins no problem... understand completely ran errands came back.. he was told since he had a sore throat and fever he would have to do it online!! I have used this clinic many times but today is one that I will not let slip through the cracks. My daughter was needing to be seen for a simple strep test. The CVS website states that a 16 and/or 17 year old can be seen as long as there is a hand written letter signed by the parent with a copy of photo id and insurance card. My daughter came in for the appointment and the staff onsite Alicia and Clara refused to see her. I was on the phone with my daughter the entire time. I explained that we followed all requirements for my daughter to be seen without her parent present and they still refused. I had my daughter ask them for a phone number to file a complaint, and after giving us the run around and they finally provided us with the number 866-389-2727 to file this complaint. Clara slammed the door in my daughter's face while she was still talking. I called the complaint number and was told by the representative to have my daughter stay at the clinic because with the letter brought in my by daughter she should be seen with no issues. The representative said if my daughter left, they would cancel the appointment. My daughter waited until I provided her with further direction. The complaint representative walked me through additional steps to fill out an official authorization to treat form written by Minute Clinic. The form was filled out and sent to my daughter to present to Clara and Alicia. While my daughter was waiting to be seen, Clara looked at my daughter and told her that she needed to watch her attitude. My daughter told her that she did not have an attitude and reminded Clara that she slammed the door in her face while she was talking to her. Clara stated that she did not feel comfortable seeing my daughter and refused services. I heard and witnessed this unprofessional behavior displayed by Clara towards my daughter and she needs to be held accountable for her actions. This is unacceptable and both staff members of this minute clinic need direct Supervision and additional training. I have filed a complaint with Minute Clinic Headquarters. This CVS is convenient for me. They have a drive thru which is super easy and they also have curbside pickup for shopping- buy online and they'll deliver to your car in the parking lot. Prescriptions are filled quickly and without issue. They usually do same day fills. The only real problem I've had here is that frequently the pharmacy workers don't correctly apply coupons that I give them. So double check, or buy your coupon items at the front desk. I've used their clinic for flu shots and that was easy, too. read more

I am new to Harris County. There is so much involved in relocating. As a rather senior, very healthy active senior citizen, I still have a few medical needs. Dealing with pharmacy refills was. Concern for me. I had two lifetime prescriptions and with some concern, I used the automated system to phone in for refills. Now, I will say, I had filled these scripts once with this CVS. So I used the automated system Saturday evening. By Tuesday morning, I received the text message they had my scripts ready. The rating is specifically aimed at their Pharmacy. I've had issues with this pharmacy three different times. The first was when they took over 3 weeks (3!)to fill a script for an infection my son had. The second was when the pharmacist told me wrong information about a nebulizer machine being required for purchase to receive my albuterol. This past time I went in three separate times to fill three prescriptions and was told every time it would be 15 minutes, at 12:40pm, 2:30pm and then at 5pm. I NEVER received my medicine. Rx was called in from Dr.'s office at 10:30am. After driving home from the MED Center to Seabrook directly after surgery to pick up pain medicine and antibiotics, I was told there were no prescriptions and that they must have left a voicemail and that they were busy so they will check them in a few hours. I expressed that I couldn't wait that long. The girl on the phone said that was what was going to happen...I called the Dr.'s office back and told them to please send over the rx directly, physically so that we did not have to "wait" for the pharmacist to check the voicemails. Then, they go to lunch until 1:30. Now, I've been out of surgery for 3 hours...I called to see if ready, they say they did not receive. So, I called the Doc back and the NP said she resent them. CVS says they only have one. And, the doc never specified how many mg. So, now its 3:30 pm. They have the rx. The pharmacist called me personally, apologized and said she would have it ready in 10 min. My MIL goes to finally pick them up...She was in line in the drive through and was told it would take 10-15 minutes...so, she came into the store and "Katherine", behind the counter tells her it will be 30 min. and that they were so busy...there were at least 6 people working behing the counter...and only after She asked to talk with Pharmacist then all of a sudden Katherine walks over to the bags of rx and there they are! They had been sitting there...Both of them. She says she needs to talk to me. They call me. Ask me a question and finally, 6 hours later.... Needless to say, the girls running the counter are not nice. Very rude and should not be in customer service. Dealing with people that need medicine - no matter the reason - need special kind of loving care. I will be moving all of our meds to a different store. This review is about CVS 2242 Repsdorph, Seabrook TX. I'll start this review by saying 2 things: 1. This review is ONLY for the pharmacy. Every time I've worked with anyone in the front of the store it's been nothing but pleasant. 2. This is one of the best days I've had in a while because after refilling my last prescription (which was like pulling teeth, as per usual) I NEVER HAVE TO VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN. I've been using CVS Pharmacy for over 15 years. When it was located on Meyer and 146, the staff seemed happy and helpful. Since the move, I can very hardly say the same. Specifically today, my receipt says I was helped by "Danielle". Who knows if this was who I was actually helped by since no one seems to wear nametags. I guess I wouldn't wear a nametag either if I was going to treat customers the way these people do. Today I called "Danielle" to inquire when my prescriptions would be ready. She said one was filled and the other hadn't been finished. Odd, since both myself and my primary care doctor had called two days prior to have them filled early in the morning so I wouldn't have to take off work but, apparently convenience to the customer is not their strong point. "Danielle" told me over the phone that the other prescription would be ready in about an hour. My cell phone says that this conversation was at 10:40AM. At 11:15AM, I received a text from CVS that both my prescriptions were ready for pickup. I drive up there and arrive a little past 11:20. When I get back to the pharmacy and tell "Danielle" that I'm there to pick up my prescriptions she snaps at me that "like I told you 20 minutes ago when you called, one is ready and the other is not." Small detail but no Danielle, it's been at least 40 minutes plus. I explained that I'd received a text from them claiming BOTH prescriptions were filled. She huffs and turns to talk to the pharmacist who I will say was not rude whatsoever, and LOW AND BEHOLD, BOTH MY PRECRIPTIONS ARE READY! Does Danielle acknowledge her mistake? Does she apologize for her attitude and inaccurate information? OF COURSE NOT! This is CVS Seabrook we're talking about! Staff members, including the, who again I can only assume since nametags don't exist for awful employees because I specifically looked for hers today, pharmacy manager "Carol" are seemingly encouraged to treat public like their own personal trash cans. "Carol", who doesn't seem to physically have the muscles you need to smile, but oh goodness does she have the physical capability to ROLL HER EYES! Especially when I'm asking about information regarding my new insurance. The last time I interacted with Carol (the brunette who seems to handle most of the "drop offs") she was so rude to me that I almost asked if I'd done something to offend her. That's how outright she was with her grossly horrendous behavior. These two ladies should be full on fired. This is not the first time I've been talked to like I'm somehow bothering them when I arrive to pick up a prescription. Their customer service skills aren't only lacking, they're non existent entirely. I am disgusted and disappointed and not only will I be going to corporate about this consistently poor service, but my family and friends will never again spend a cent at this store. I will happily drive down NASA to Walgreens where the pharmacist actually calls you the next day and checks to see if you're doing okay on your meds. WHAT A THOUGHT! If you can manage it, go to Kroger, Walgreens, Target or Walmart for your prescriptions because this pharmacy is the ABSOLUTE WORST. read more

I personally love this staff and this pharmacy, I've never had any issues. I picked up meds for my daughter and it was ready within 10-15 mins. I guess everyone has issues with waiting, they are probably ones who say "why does it take so long when you just count a couple a pills and slap a label on it?" IDIOTS. They are dealing with peoples lives, I'd rather wait for my meds to be filled correctly, after all I did just wait at my doctor's office for to be seen. This is a great pharmacy. The only problem are the nasty customers. Watched someone sit in drive thru around 3 today and be extremely rude to the teller at the window and refused to move when asked after she had been told her script would be ready in 10 minutes and she needed to move so the people behind her could be helped. Then when she wouldn't move she was told her script wouldn't be filled because of her nasty behavior. Also saw her give them the bird as she drove away. What nasty nasty people that live here in seabrook. I have never had anything but pleasant experiences from the staff at seabrook. Especially Carol. DO NOT GO TO THEIR CLINIC! I made an appointment online and was bumped to the bottom of the list upon arrival, totally ignoring my appointment time. After questioning why my previously made appointment was disregarded I was treated rudely by the clinic staff and the fellow customers waiting for their appointments. I left and went to Walgreens and will do so from now on. This CVS pharmacy is very unprofessional and rude. I needed to get medication for my son twice in May. They costed me hours to get them. First, I got phone notification which said the medicine was ready to pick up. I went there, they were not ready and I was asked to wait. During my waiting time, the pharmacist: Tammy L Bennett and Tech: E.Kmie made fun of me. After I waited for a while, I wanted to walk around in the store. But they told me it's ready and wait for there, but it's not ready. After they verified the insurance and knew I had divorced, they kept calling my ex-husband's name through the speaker even though I just sat in front of them. When they saw me impatient during waiting and embarrassed when I paid, they just had fun and scoffed at me. Very bad experience in this CVS store! read more

I went in to fill a prescription for a surgery I was having the following day. Handed the prescription to what appeared to be a pharmacist and was told she couldn't fill it because the doctors office was to far away....what??? Ask if that was a new law an she told me the DEA was cracking down. Really??? Proceeded to Walgreens a quarter mile away and was filled with no problem. Although the staff are very nice and try to be helpful, they continue to fall short of good service. They blame it on lack of staff and no time to fill prescriptions. Well, hire more staff. Almost every time we have been to get a RX it was not filled, even after I called and they said it would be ready. Again ""lack of staff"". The last time they filled the other RX's and I did not notice one was missing. They said nothing. After getting home I called and they said they were out, no bother to let me know, but they would have it by the afternoon(yesterday). This morning still no call or message it is filled. I called and again ""sorry we are understaffed,". Then after checking she said they didn't and wouldn't have it because it was back ordered. So a week later no meds. I'm just thankful it wasn't a medicine that would have potential life threat effects if not taken. Please. HIRE MORE STAFF! I'm not sure about the negative reviews but this is by far the most personable, helpful CVS staff I've ever encountered. The pharmacist, Jerry, is by far the BEST, most helpful pharmacist I've ever encountered. He goes above and beyond to assist in any way he can. I've always had pleasant experiences with the regular pharmacy and store staff, as well. They keep the store stocked, organized, and clean. All very willing to help. They don't have the best drink selection, but that seems to be a common thread with all CVS locations and it's obviously their buyer/supplier not their staff's fault. read more

I would normally never write a review like this but after dealing with Michelle the pharmacist at this locate it just have to speak about my very disappointing experience. The first time I dealt with her she was very passive aggressive, it seemed like I was bothering her simply asking common questions. She was supposed to fill my order and she did not. It wasn't ready for pickup. I called a 10am that morning and it wasn't ready at 6pm for pickup. I was very nice to her even when she had a sour attitude. The second time I dealt with her it was to change the insurance info on my brother account. Again passive aggressive, couldn't be bothered. She twice put me on hold abruptly while I was speaking. I understand customer service can be frustrating at times, so I made a painstaking effort to be extra polite to this lady. If you are not a people person maybe don't take a job where you have to answer questions, or have someone else answer the phone. I really hope I won't have to deal with her again. read more
