This is by far the worst pharmacy known to mankind. I'm planning on switching my pharmacy right after I write this review. I usually have one prescription to pick up from here and would usually go through the drive-through to pick it up, but even at the drive-through, you will be waiting ten million years for them to process one vehicle to move onto the next. What really pisses me off is the fact that I called in to refill my pharmacy yesterday and was told that the pharmacy needed to reorder more medications because they had run out and were told that they didn't have any emergency doses available. I was told that I would receive a call indicating once the medications had been received. Guess what?! At noon, I haven't received any calls, texts, or emails from Walgreens Pharmacy. Meaning, I missed two doses of life-threatening medications. Of course, I called the pharmacy to verify and spoke with the head pharmacist and she acted like she didn't know anything. Just pathetic. A pharmacist with years of schooling and she doesn't even know what's going on. She told me that my prescription was ready to be picked up by Saturday. I asked why wasn't I notified, and all she could say was, "I'm sorry, it is ready now". There's a lot of miscommunication and incoherence taking place at this pharmacy. The Pharmacy is section is fucked up at all locations but this one they just don't care at all. The app doesn't even sync with their network. You won't ever get prescription that way. Some one at this pharmacy said they would fill my prescription in 15 min. I come back in 15. I would simply not go to this Walgreens for their pharmacy. I've been here before to grab other medications, etc. I'm usually really understanding and patient, would happily come back or wait whatever time they give. Last time I was there, I was just shocked at how unprofessional they were at not filling a script. My sister underwent surgery and was told to start on oral antibiotics the same day as discharge. She got home at 5pm and I ran the script to this place, in line by 5:45pm. There was always a line with only 2 techs and 1 pharmacist working. Several cars outside in the drive through with only one lane open. Only area of pick/up and drop off was open, the other windows had signs to go to main area. I was told it would be ready at 8. Came at 8:30pm just to stand in a line, got to the front with 15 mins to spare and was told it wasn't ready and wouldn't be filled by tonight - tomorrow, they said. Again, this isn't a maintenance medication, pain pills, or compound medication they needed to mix that we waited last minute to fill; this was a generic antibiotic that we were instructed needed to start same day and got there hours before closing. Even after explaining, they just shrugged us off. We had to run it to another pharmacy at 9pm that night. This place is completely understaffed with staff not caring at all about their work or the patients. Please drive down the street to anywhere else. read more

I recently visited this Walgreens photo department to take a picture of my infant child, but was extremely disappointed with the experience.the photographer informed me that they were unable to take a picture of my child because they didn't have a suitable backdrop or props for infants. This was frustrating and inconvenient, If you can't take pictures of infants, please let customers know ahead of time. read more

Do not use this place to fill your medicine!! Horrible wait. Horrible customer service. Don't even care to call you to tell you medicine is not covered by your insurance and give you option to pay OOP so all prescriptions would be ready instead of making five trips!! Useless people! read more

The pharmacist is a nice woman who is kind and approachable. The techs over there have an attitude that needs to be checked at the door. There is no sick person who wants to deal with someone who looks and talks like they hate their job. On top of that, I'm the midst of a pandemic corporate has not updated their guidelines to allow immuno compromised folks get their booster shot at 5 months when the cdc says it's allowed. I didn't look at the reviews before I set up an appointment here to get a CoVid test. Lady seems nice but there is just long wait times. Set behind a truck for 15 minutes and then I sit here waiting for them to take me. I know other locations is just quick tests but here they just don't have the manpower to do everything so why add more services? Hello, I guess you can say I am a couponer and I normally always go to my local Walgreens but this time we decided to stop at this Walgreens because we were near by. I would like to shout out this young Hispanic man (i believe was a supervisor) and young lady in the front cashier. I didn't catch their names, I normally have to do multiple transactions and at almost all Walgreens I always get a ugly attitude and rude cashier that seems to hate their job. Now keep in mind I really don't like to cause problems and if something doesn't go right I don't make a big issue like maybe other couponers do. These cashier really made me feel welcomed and not feel like a burden. The young man helped me with a big smile on his face the whole time even when there was issues. Now this is the example of great customer service. I really appreciate them both and would of love to keep coming to this Walgreens if I didn't live an hour away. Thank you again. read more

For your own sake, please do not have your prescriptions sent here. They have lost my refill and now that I've had to have my doctor sent it again, they are out of stock. So I will now be without my medication for a few days since I fly out soon. I'm not looking forward to having to get my system used to it again. Thanks a lot to this horrible Walgreens. I am a dialysis patient that takes a lot of medications. The transfer over from Kroger was a nightmare. 3 different times they said Kroger did not send over the information. 3 different times I had the dialysis nurse personally send over the prescriptions over in front of me to Walgreens. They claim that the person did not have authorization to write the prescription. The doctor's assistant called since the medication in question means the difference in me going to the hospital and being DEAD. I even asked to have to prescription sent to the Pearland location, but the could not fill it since another pharmacy (Scarsdale) already filled it. Well I went there and I waited 50 minutes in line to only get 6 pills that will last me 1 day! They said they will have an order and it will not be there till Monday (Friday at that day). Well it's Monday and the medication has not been filled yet. The pharmacy tech asked me, "Do you know how much it costs?" Yes, I know how much it costs, and I needed that damn medication. The pharmacy is horrible! Every single time I go to pick up my prescription it's always a minimum 40 min wait. Cynthia was assisting in the drive through she was flustered she asked twice for my last name. Then she continues to "look for the prescription" then she cashes someone out then proceeds to help her coworker read some paper. At this point I'm already heated. So I press the call button "hi can I get a status on my prescription?" Cynthia comes back grabs the a tray pulls out my prescription. That simple! And sends it on it's way. Do yourself a favor! Went to pick up bf prescription the pharmacist was rude her name was Felicia she was an African American I guess she does not like her job, I asked her nicely if the prescription was ready and she gave me an attitude and I kept my cool and asked her again , the order was sent by the doctor 3 days prior to that I'm sure it was ready. What got me more upset that behind me was another customer and she was an African American lady but she was super nice to her. The employees at this location are incompetent, after asking who the prescription was for and having the name spelled out for them they still gave out the wrong medication. Called after arriving home to explain and said we would bring back meds get refund for that then pick up correct meds. First in line it took 20 minutes to get seen and get refund, they then forgot to give us the correct meds. Had to call inside the store and wait a additional 10 minutes to get proper meds. Always problems at this pharmacy going to have to change to another because no one branch of a business should have this many issues as often as they do. Management has been made aware but the problems still persist. If it were possible I would give no stars, they don't deserve any. read more

Terrible customer service. My CVS pharmacy closed so they sent my prescriptions to this Walgreens. Nightmare! 2 weeks and still can't get prescription filled. Called and told them I need them to transfer my prescriptions and they said the other pharmacy needs make request. I WILL NEVER USE THIS WALGREENS!!!! This is easily the worst pharmacy operation I have ever witnessed. I have been waiting an hour and a half for a prescription. There are 10 people waiting in line. There is a line of cars in the drive thru. Now they have lost a woman's prescription and can't find it. If I really didn't need this prescription asap, I would have walked out. This is the worst Walgreens I have ever had to deal with. Pharmacy service is ridiculously slow and the techs are rude. They are always out of medication that we get every month without fail. Having spoken to others in the industry, this isn't something that should happen if it's getting ordered routinely. I have also gotten the wrong medication from them - wrong dose. Awful pharmacy. Just awful. First I go in on Friday after my doctors appointment. They never called all day so I went in the evening, they said they'd have my medicine in on Monday, that it was out of stock. Go in on Monday, this time they actually called, they say it's discontinued(which is a lie.) Went to the drive thru pharmacy and waited over 20 min for the clerk to tell me the script wasn't ready. Told her I would be back in 30 minutes to an hour, she confirmed my hone number and promised it would be ready. Came back and had to wait another 10 min for her to tell me they weren't done. Waited another 15 minutes at this point to get the script. In the meantime I called the store manager to let her know she had some major service issues and she transferred me to the pharmacist?!?! This is not the first time I've had to wait an extended amount of time for that pharmacy...it appears as though they are really understaffed. read more

Omg! Don't use this pharmacy! My grandson's doctor recommended finding a different pharmacy because these people were so rude to her. They have been rude to my daughter twice. They kept her and my grandson waiting for 90 minutes for a prescription for some pain meds. He is only 13 and was on his way home from the hospital after having surgery. They did not care. After 90 minutes of waiting, they said they didn't have the pain meds in stock. What? Apparently these people don't like to fill prescriptions for pain medications. This was the second time in a week that they gave my daughter the runaround when she was trying to get prescriptions filled for my grandson. They need to stop trying to police what medications people are taking. That's not their business. Their job is to fill the prescriptions the doctors write. Idiots! read more

Went in to pick up photos.. stood at the photo center for a few minutes and realized no one was coming to help. There was a long line at the front register and I decided to get in line to ask for help. Finally get to the register and ask for help at photo center. The young lady said she would be over. I waited again at the photo center. People continued to fill the line at her register while I continued to wait. There needs to be a better system than asking me to wait while she helps everyone else.. even people who had just walked in. It was over 20 minutes before she came over to help. Unfortunately this isn't the first time that I've had to wait for help in photos.. so I will no longer shop or order photos here. read more

I have lived in this area for many years. In recent years, the service at Walgreens pharmacy is slow both at the counter and the drive thru. I have visited the pharmacy at least 5 times in the last few months. Three times I had to wait 25-30 minutes to be waited on at the counter, once in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes only to be told the insurance was not approved (which was an error), and once at the drive thru for 6 minutes waiting for someone to come to the drive thru window (no other cars in line). I have even called the telephone number during normal working hours 8 am - 6 pm only to hear a message "the pharmancy is closed." I am hoping Walgreens will improve on its customer service soon or I am afraid they will loose regular customers. OK management, try a little training of staff or establish a better and more efficient way to process pharmacy customers. read more

The absolute worse Pharmacy service EVER!! Be prepared to wait a minimum of 30-40 just for drive through pickup.

This is the only drive through pharmacy in limping distance when I am truly sick. I have breast cancer and chemo side effects, including pneumonia. I have met ALL out of pocket expenses and have no copay, although they make a ton of money of my monthly drugs and it's a 3 hour turn around time for an inhaler to help treat pneumonia. You try to talk with the staff and they don't listen. I am struggling to stay breathing and moving and this is the best they can do! So help me, I will change pharmacies to just not have to deal with the continued lack of compassion and professionalism one has a right to expect from a pharmacy. Frequently takes greater than 30 minutes just to drop off a prescription. Too sick to be putting up with this kind of crap! read more
