When asking the clerk, where do they relieve themselves she just was telling me the conditions of the restroom which is not what I ask. I was hoping she was gonna tell me something nearby so then My son will be redirected there and possibly not get our car towed as we witness a vehicle will be towed possibly because they wasn't guest of Walgreens. read more

Came here for a scheduled covid vaccine appointment. I understand the pharmacy gets busy but geez i waited like an hour and a half. It already didn't look good when a guy that was there before me kept complaining he was way past his scheduled time and he had a fight to catch. Seemed very disorganized as they take walk ins too, but they don't seem to have a system for them to know who's actually next. Only reason why i gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the pharmacist did apologize for the wait and was friendly. I came to pick up photos I had ordered. The women at the photo register was very annoyed and rolled her eyes at me when I asked to pick up photos. I'm a 14 year customer at this location. But i just contacted all my doctors to move my prescriptions to H-E-B. I don't know why they continuerl to do the very things I have complained about, e.g., texts saying your prescription is ready when it's not, telling me to refill prescriptions when it's way too early. I believe their IT guys smoke weed all day. Waiting forever on new hires improperly trained - I am so pissed off. Never again. read more

I've been looking for a medication that is sold out everywhere. Another store told me that this location had some. I called, spoke to someone & was told that they have two boxes. When I get there, I find out it's the wrong stuff. Girl was very nice & polite, but wrong. No huge deal, except I'd left work to come pick it up. I'm mildly annoyed. Tried calling this location to transfer a prescription. Immediately got put on hold. Then each time the phone rang they put me on hold( three more times). The fourth time the phone rang they picked up and hung up on me. Seems they don't like people calling the store. read more

There are unfortunately always homeless people at the door (some begging for money, some completely passed out and being carted away in an ambulance). I've also witnessed two homeless men come into the store and shoplift. I bought a two-pack box of Burt's Bees lip balm one day, only to find that there was only one in the box because the other one had been stolen out of it. So irritating! The store is nice inside and staff is helpful, it's just an uncomfortable place and the theft is unreal. read more

During the peak of covid I was able to get thermometers and Walgreens brand Lysol. It still rings true today. This Walgreens is clean, large stock of items and a good spot for last minute items needed. read more

Want to start off by saying I have been a costumer of this walgreens for a very long time. My review doesn't reflect the store as a whole, but one particular employee at the photo counter. I ordered christmas cards and some prints online and went to pick them up yesterday. The employee started off with immediate unwarranted rudeness. Rolling eyes-shacking head ect. simply because when she asked for my last name I said my first and last name. The obvious tension towards me carried on for the remainder of our encounter. At the end she printed the receipt and tried to hand it to my boyfriend behind me who did not order or pay for the services while completely ignoring me. I went to grab the receipt and she proceeded to move it away multiple times. Finally I grabbed it from her hand and she was clutching her fingers and holding it with force trying not to give it to me. While walking away she screamed at me "why'd you yank it away" probably about 3-4 times as i continued to leave. I ended up turning around and replying "because you were clenching it and refusing to give it to me". All in all the interaction made me extremely uncomfortable. I understand everyone has their bad days, but the lack of professionalism and costumer service makes me not want to return. The woman had curly hair-shoulder length and circle glasses. I spoke to the manager afterwards and he was very apologetic. I really hope management takes this seriously, and something is done. It's an incredibly poor reflection of the customer service you would expect to get at such a well known establishment. read more

The pharmacist is really friendly at this location and so is the rest of the employees. The store is clean and pretty organized. I live in Midtown so a pretty easy walk. My only gripe is they have a lot of homeless people that hang around, but never call security or request that the leave. Those same homeless people leave behind trash in the parking lot and the store front. I feel if there was stronger response to homeless people hanging around the front door and parking lot, this location would be perfect. read more

I called in here asking about their COVID drive through testing. The girl in the pharmacy answer med , then I asked her what the procedure was we we're doing when given the test. She copped an attitude and said I can't answer that you have to ask a Pharmacist! I then get transferred to a Manager not even the pharmacist. Tell the manager what happened. She apologized then asked if I like to talk to the Pharmacist Manager, yes, so she can know how customers are being talked too. She transferred me, and omg... the female Manager Philin I maybe spelling wrong. Ignored me while I'm talking to her, repeats her self multiple times what can I help you with... then insults me saying "I'm mumbling I can't understand." I respond with it I can understand you with a strong accident Ma'am, you can clearly understand me! I asked to be transferred to the store manager where I let her know what happened and requested a District Manager to give me a call! read more

My husband & I have had the walgreens on west rd & beltway 8 for years. They have been the most incompetent, frustrating, uninformative pharmacy we've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Today I give 2 stars for the pharmacy- lady was very rude. Acted like I was bothering her. Stated she didn't have time to put in my prescriptions and to come back in an hour and a half. The proceeded to say "sorry" in the most sarcastic way I hav ever heard. In my opinion people who are employed at a pharmacy should be extra nice not only because they are in the service business but because the people they are dealing with are already having a bad day and don't need an extra reason for the day to be a bad one. Since I do not live near the area I had to stay at the Walgreens for an hour plus and she acted as if I was annoying her just being in the store. Short annoyed and rude would be how I described this ladies attitude toward every customer she came in contact with. Then to top it off instead of tell me (the only person sitting there) that the order was filled I get an automated phone call telling me the order is filled. The guy in the pharmacy ultimately helped me. Then proceeded to tell me that he was sorry because my order had been filled for awhile. If I put 5 stars for the cashier in the front I would she was very happy to help me and all smiles made the bad experience a little better. I've worked in retail pharmacy. I was really disappointed with the service at Walgreens. I went on a Saturday evening, there was only one pharmacist working the drive thru and pick up window. He spent 20 minutes with a customer (totally understandable, he was giving her a consultation) My grief is that there wasn't enough people to help the rest of the customers waiting. In that line there was myself, and 3 others. A few stood for 5-10 minutes then left. I'd like to give this Walgreens another shot, but if this happens again, I'll definitely be taking my family elsewhere. This Walgreens location used to have a sweet woman working cosmetic counter in 2009. She knew every sell, was kind, provided a human touch by being customer centric. In recent years I've witnessed a high turn over of employees at this location. They are completely unaware of sales in their own flyer. Worst part is, in past three visits I encountered this illegal scheme of hook & sink advertisement. That is where they label an item "Buy One Get One Free" then take to counter and they charge you for both. If you aware, and call them on it, they wiggle out of their claim by saying "Sorry, that was mis labeled." I tell them go look at how they have it priced on the counter, and they give you guilt trip about the people waiting behind you. I damn near left my $50 purchase on the counter and walked out. I left behind the items they false sell. I'm not shopping here again until I here of a change in management, and five star commendations of specific employees. read more

Grumpy pharmacist and difficult to work with. They always ask for my name and then cut me off before I finish saying it or finish spelling it, and then claim they can't find me in the computer. Ok genius, wait until I'm done saying my whole name and then type it into your computer. Miraculously once they listen to my whole name and spell it correctly, they find it right away! read more

Excellent customer service from the employees to the manager. Always so polite and patient. Would give them 5 if it wasn't for the homeless outside asking for help even when you say no. They're still insistent and they leave their trash making the store less inviting. read more

Their pharmacy is the definition of lazy and careless. I sent a prescription there that required a rebate card, but the tech simply said "the rebate code isn't working, there's nothing I can do." I left without my prescription because she didn't feel like trying to help me. Plus, the parking lot is filled with people begging for money so I never can come here at night, even if it's drive thru. read more

Every time I go, (which is never again) I must wait while the pharmacist ignores me for no less that 10 minutes. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are so rude ans ugly. I've had several serious health issues recently, causing me to become a frequent visitor here. I had an emergency one night and Emmanuel, was so rude and short with me and refused to fill one of my two prescriptions because they were now closed as I was in line and told me I would have to wait until the morning or go to the one on Montrosw that is 24/7. I had to be rushed to the hospital minutes later because of not being able to get my medicine . So thanks ! Ugh read more

The people that work at this pharmacy are about the rudest I've ever met. They snap at you when you ask for simple things or they make mistakes. I went in once and their whole system was down and they could not except credit cards. The cashier even mentioned this never happens at other stores read more
