I took my chances and went with the $3 choice. As a new coffee drinker, I'm not too picky about where I get my caffeine fix, and this CVS refrigerated option did the trick. What surprised me most was how big and clean this CVS was--especially for a downtown location! The aisles were neatly organized, everything was easy to find, and the parking right outside was a lifesaver for my morning commuter rush. Good to know I have a solid, quick-stop "corner store" near my house for future caffeine emergencies!

It's not actually what I do for work. I work in Solar, but just moved to Houston. My tablet was stolen at this store. When I went back to retrieve it he said well does the tablet belong to the delivery people or does it belong to you try to imply that I was lying he was stereotyping me, even as I explained to him that I was a veteran he didn't care because of my skin color it's more so who are you for me to take orders from? That's the reaction I was getting from him mind you I wasn't giving him orders, but I'm very familiar with the behavior that he put out. It made me very sick to my stomach knowing that H-E-B locations can be this way. This CVS is in a super convenient location, and for that reason alone, I've stopped by more times…read morethan I can count. Whether it's picking up prescriptions, grabbing a quick snack, or running an errand, it's great to have a pharmacy right in the neighborhood. That said, the experience is often tainted by the constant presence of panhandlers right outside the entrance. I'm a bleeding heart, I always want to help, but there's a time and place, and today wasn't it. I came in with the flu, just trying to get my prescription, and was approached several times before I even got through the door. I've started going to other CVS locations farther away just to avoid being approached. It's disappointing, because this store is so convenient, but at some point, you just want to run a simple errand. I also really hope the city can step up and do more to take care of those in need. It doesn't seem like Houston is doing much to help these people and is actually stopping those trying to help.
