The front desk folks here are rude. They made a mistake on my blazer then argued with me about it, didn't apologize or show any customer service skills, and acted like it was a big inconvenience to redo it properly. They are just not nice. I won't use them again. read more

Best Dry Cleaning Ever! We have used Widmer's since 2008 when we moved to Cincinnati. Great customer service and always gets the job done on our clothing. This is the ONLY place we would trust with our daughter's wedding gown preservation and cleaning. I promise you, the bottom was black from walking in the park, the street, the beer spilled on the dance floor and the coffee that someone spilled. The dress is perfect and absolutely like new again. We trust all our dry cleaning to them. Handy delivery/pickup available and they will also bill you monthly so you can pick up in store quickly. read more

Widmers has been one of my preferred dry cleaners for years. There was a span of time when I went to a local, mom-and-pop dry cleaner. When they retired, I went back to Widmers in Harpers Point even though it meant I had to drive from the Milford/Loveland area. They know me by name. Not many establishments bother to make that effort. They have reserved parking in the busy Harpers Point Kroger's lot. 2 spots are marked with signage in fron of the store. Widmers replaces shirt buttons, has an onsite seamstress, and offers specialized cleaning (rugs, Uggs, carpets, bed spreads, coats, etc.) I only had one minor problem with an order mix up but it was quickly resolved. I take a large laundry bag to them each week. So, one small issue that was corrected by the manager, Tara, is not a big deal. Widmers gets a thumbs-up from me! read more

Don't waste your money. I used them for cleaning the carpet in my apartment because I have pet stains and odor. First their equipment broke down and they had to come the following week. Then they don't spring it on me until they get here that using portable equipment for the fourth floor isn't going to work too well, and he doesn't promise all the stains will come out. He promised some of them would come out, and 100% of the smell would come out. I'd say 5% of the stains and 45% of the odor came out, no more. He left two feet between the machine and the wall. There was a brand new poop stain he didn't touch. I got it out with Hot Shot and a sponge. Maybe it's a different story if they use their truck's power, if if you're in an apartment, you're wasting your time and money. I will be using a different company in the future read more

I will no longer be using Widmer's after many years of bringing my clothes here I feel the customer service should have been MUCH better that what it is. I dropped off a bunch of items and picked them up without thinking I needed to check through them. A few days later one of my sweaters was not in the mix. I went back to Widmer's thinking they forgot to hand it to me. When I went back, they not only had lost my sweater but they knew about it and did not feel the need to call me, even when they had a note with my number and details on their desk for a week. They said they would contact the plant over the weekend and call me back, but even then, the next week I had to inquire to them about the status of my sweater because they still had not yet called me back. End result I do not have my sweater and had a terrible customer service experience with the manager there. read more

I arrived at widmers and parked in the reserved parking spot and decided I would go to Kroger and grab myself a drink before running into widmers. An associate came screaming out of the front door of the store telling me I'm in a reserved spot and that I needed to move my vehicle "right now". After the incident I decided to go elsewhere for services. For future reference I would reccomend your associates not scream at customers/potential customers. Had she asked if I was coming to widmers I would have gladly explained I was getting a drink from Kroger right next door then stopping in immediately after. read more

FYI Alert! Don't use Widmer's Drycleaners in Harper's Point! I just pulled my dress out of the bag to try it on with jewelry for a wedding I'm attending. It was all wrinkled and still dirty, etc! For over $22 it wasn't even touched!!! Guess what, it's too late to go back!!! I took it there to be sure to get good care. Well, totally unsatisfied and very disappointed. I took a white, oxford cloth dress shirt to Harper's Point Widmer's "dry cleaning specialists" location. I'd never used Widmer's, but always had the impression that it was the best dry cleaner in town. The shirt has our co. logo embroidered on it. It was new, had never been worn, but had a small (probably grease) stain on the front. The 1st time I tried to pick it up, the original stain was still there, and there was an additional NEW black stain on the pocket that wasn't there when I dropped it off. The 2nd time I tried to pick it up, both stains were still there, and a THIRD stain was on the collar. It was a glob of something red that looked to me like some kind of berry had been dribbled on it. The 3rd time, all THREE stains were there, and there was ANOTHER NEW grayish stain near the top of one of the sleeves! The last time I was there, they said I hadn't paid. When I got back to the office I found the receipt. This shirt was purchased to be given to our customers. It has been cleaned at least 4 times, and LOOKS like it. The stains finally came out, but it can no longer be given to a customer if we want to make a good impression. :( read more

i had used widmer's years ago but switched to a friend of mine who opened his own dry cleaner's. last year he sold his business and i went back to widmer's; but at the harper's point location instead of home delivery. everyone there is so nice and professional and i can't say enough about how happy i am. 3 people that really stand out are tara and mary who are awesome and carol the seamstress (yes they have a seamstress on site) who is fantastic.... if your looking for a dry cleaner: here you go ..... if not: you might want to try them out anyway and you won't be disappointed.. 5 stars all the way !!!!!! read more

I brought a pillow cover of a decorative couch pillow in to receive a quote on cleaning - I had no idea what the cleaning cost would be and only wanted to proceed if it was reasonable. After I explained to the lady working that I didn't want to pay more than it would cost to replace the pillow, I was quoted about $5 after she looked up the item in her book. Upon picking it up a week later, I was charged $17 and change!! That is much more than I would have spent to replace it. I expressed my disapproval and disappointment and was met with arguments - the other girl was wrong but they won't honor that price, they got it clean - didn't they and so on and so forth. In the end, they took $3 off - not enough in my opinion. I was forced to pay for the service when what I wanted to do was to walk out and leave it there for them to keep. read more

This is a great dry cleaners. Lisa is wonderful and always remembers us, and the things we've been up to, and things we have planned, etc. They're on the expensive side, but I just watch for coupons that come in the mail and almost always have a $10 off coupon ready to go. They also have a talented tailor/seamstress who is in on Mondays and Wednesdays (call for hours). She has fixed everything from jeans to evening gowns for me and does a great job. read more

Couldn't have been happier with their services. I brought in 5 pairs of pants that I had previously had hemmed from another company which I had numerous problems with. Lengths were wrong, threads didn't match,etc. Widmers was able to fix all the problems and they looked like a factory hemm when finished. Wow, my daughter just went to Widmers. She is from Chicago and she has laundry delivered to her door on the weekend for 50 percent less than Widmers charges to drop off and deliver. I had no idea they were charging so much. A dress to dry clean over night in Chicago Gold Coast delivered to the door is $8.75. And the dress is pristine. Widmers is 18.30 per dress. Seriously people, who wants to open a dry cleaner in this town!!!! read more
