I brought in my $600 mother of the bride dress the day after my daughters wedding to be cleaned. The dress said dry clean only. Tide dry cleaners stripped all of the color out of the dress and wouldn't take any responsibility for it. I bought the dress planning to wear it for several occasions and unfortunately cannot do that now. I have similar dresses from the same designer that I have taken to other dry cleaners and this did not happen. I am so disappointed and upset that Tide dry cleaners did this to my dress and didn't give me any form of credit or take any responsibility for it. read more

I dropped off multiple pieces over two weeks ago. I went in to pick up and two shirts were missing. I was told to come back in two days. I went back and still missing the shirts. I found out their machine went down from an employee so they sent the clothes to other location. Went back again after 3 day, still no shirts. Called again after 1 day and no shirts. I asked to speak with the manager. Found out the manager left at 2 (the manager is never there) and was given the number for the district manager and I called and left a message. I don't know if this Tide Dry Cleaner is under new ownership or management, but the quality of service has declined significantly. I picked up two white dresses via their drive-through. When I got home I found that one white dress was unzipped on the hanger and has faint pinkish coloring on the skirt...as if there was color transfer from something else. The other dress wasn't straight; it seemed dingier and had the spots I hoped would be removed in the cleaning process. I paid $51 to have these dresses cleaned and now I have to take them somewhere else to have them (re)cleaned. read more

i've been using Tide Drycleaners for a number of years and the service and Product continues to get worse. There is no reason why it should take four days for an order to be completed. Also the condition of the garments that I am receiving back is not the condition that I would recommend to anyone. I get shirts back with tags on it that they're supposed to be pressed and folded, yet they come on hangers, the collars for the shirts that I have done are wrinkled, as well as the polo shirts with wrinkled collars. I was fiercely loyal to my mom and pop dry cleaners but had become more and more dissatisfied with the amount of time it took to get my clothes back and the quality of the cleaning. I came by Tide because it was near my office and it was easy to find. My favorite part of working with Tide is the next day availability. My clothes are ready after 5pm the next day, which is amazing. Also, they provided me with a bag with a barcode that allows me to drop off my clothes without waiting and since I have linked my credit card to my account, I can even pick up after hours utilizing the automated machine outside. So convenient! All that and it's not more expensive than my old cleaners. With all the coupons they offer, it's usually cheaper! read more

With the best of intentions I tried to take the tide name and trust my clothing to this Saturday at the onset things seem fine and they said that they would have everything ready since it was there before 9 AM by 5 PM when I arrived at 5:23 and 3 of the four items were able to be found and the fourth item was at a different location not good I try to do my best to give people the benefit of the doubt but they may need to upgrade their resources to reflect a higher degree of customer service and understanding of what it truly means to run A great customer service Oriented dry cleaner. Edit 10/8/18 I stopped taking clothes here for about eight months because it's not convenient for me. The service I used after them delivered and pick up but they were horrible. Ruined shirts and were very rude. I came back to Tide six months ago. I love the job they do cleaning clothes and pressing shirts. However, they constantly destroy my buttons! Some buttons aren't easy to replace because they are color coded to match the shirt. And I've used all of the spares for this reason. I've expressed my concerns with the staff. I purchased a sample wedding dress, so it needed to be cleaned before my wedding. Due to the convenient location to my work and the good reviews, I brought my wedding dress here to be cleaned. They gave me a estimate for the cleaning and kept my dress for a month, which seemed longer than necessary. When I went to pick it up, the price ended up more than originally planned for, but most importantly, my dress had 20 or more pieces of hair stuck in between the layers of tulle (not my hair). I took my dress back to Tide, and they took the hairs off the dress for me, which I appreciate. However, if I'm spending more than $100 to have something cleaned, especially something as important as my wedding dress, it should never come back to me with hair on it. As a recap, the cleaning process took longer than it should have, the price was on the high end, and my "cleaned" wedding dress came back to me with other peoples' hair on it. I recently switched to Tide Dry Cleaners because of frustration with my previous dry cleaner service. What I discovered at Tide was friendly service and good work done on my garments. They offer a range of flexible pick up and drop off services, many of which I won't need but it's nice to know the options exist. They're a bit pricey, but I've had some sort of coupon (i.e., 25% off new customer, 10% off Inner Circle Rewards, 15% off Father's Day) every drop off thus far so that's a nice touch that makes you not think about it as much. Nothing makes me feel like a grown up as much as picking up clothes from the dry cleaners. I've used a few smaller shops in the Cincy area, and I hate to say that a big corporation is my favorite, but Tide Dry Cleaners are really progressive in how they offer services, and their prices are great. The staff are friendly and informative. The only gripe I have is that somehow they didn't get my email quite right, so the email notifications and coupons I'm supposed to be receiving are not arriving to my inbox. I'm sure I can get that corrected - no biggie. I get my blazers cleaned for under $7.00 each (was paying $12-14 at other cleaners). They have great hours, and if you need to pick up after their business hours, you can pay in advance and have your items secured in a locker that you identify a personal code to open. I believe they offer actual laundry washing as well, but I haven't used this service. The convenient location by my gym doesn't hurt, but even if I had to go a little bit out of the way, I would definitely use Tide Dry Cleaners for all the dry cleaning I need to have done. read more

I go here for all of my dry cleaning needs and they are amazing- the best job on shirts and pants I've been too. This winter I got a coupon for 20% off household items so I figured I would take in my King comforter to get cleaned. On the pricing board inside it's $34 for a comforter. I take it in, get a claim ticket back for 1 item. When I go to pick it up, the comforter has been separated into the cover and the down insert, I now have 2 dry cleaning tickets each for $34. Not only did I get charged $70, but now I have to put the thing back together which is the biggest hassle. I called to inquire about the pricing discrepancy and was told "it should have been explained better to you" and that was it. DO NOT TAKE HOUSEHOLD ITEMS HERE!! I will never do that again. Expensive and unimpressive. I don't mind paying for quality dry cleaning, but this was definitely not quality. I brought in a dress and a wool jacket to be cleaned. The dress was brand new so it looked fine. The jacket however, had hair and lint all over it still (I have a beagle so I get most of my clothes dry cleaned cause she sheds like crazy!) personally, I couldn't tell if the clothes had even been cleaned or just had bags and hangers put on them. I'm new to the area so I thought I'd give them a try since the location is convenient, but I'll be in search of a better dry cleaner for the next time. Tide Dry Cleaners (Mason Montegomery Road Location) That's the lowest rating I can select, else would have selected another. Never assumed that a premium rate business (charges high than others) does these type of things. Not sure if this part of the P & G group. I am a regular customer for the last so many years. Everytime my volume of clothes will be high and I don't get a chance to verify each and every item while taking them back, also take some time to use it. Recently when I opened a couple of them, I noticed, one with minor issue (button gone) and another torn away. And these were mixed with the other shirts and delivered. That's what they say their wonderful quality check. When brought up this with the manager, I was told something like not in the time frame and doesn't know what might have happened or it might have happened at home. They took both and replaced the button for one and stitched the other with a cover up, which they spoiled further and not at all acceptable. The manager said that the district manager will give a call and there is no response from that side. At this time, I don't know if any other are still like that in around 40 to 50 unopened shirts. The most frightful thing is, I have my credit card stored with them for Auto Pay. And without letting me know, they charged for replacing the button which I never expected. Only after a month I noticed that a charge has been applied to my card. Now my doubt, is what if they might be doing this for quite some time and to lot other customers without their knowledge. This is like taking advantage of my stored credit card info and doing fraud. Finally, I have to let them know to take away my credit card from Auto charging. I feel, this place is not safe for us storing the credit cards. Suprisingly, when came up with the issues, the Manager says, he is not sure what happened. (they are more positive about getting out stains) Everything I have looks like new they did a fantastic job!! I have used the location on Mason Montgomery a small hand full of times. I have a convention this weekend, and so I used the drive thru, as I work 3rd shift, and I am usually unable to stop in. I highly recommend first taking a photo or some other journalistic proof of your clothes, without it, when they screw up the data entry, as they did with my order, there will be nothing they can do for you in regards to the fact that you are now without clothes you dropped off expecting to get back. They offered no apology Blamed everything on their computer system They offered nothing at all Added bonus, their conveyer..and I am quoting them directly, "has a glitch in it and sometimes drops your clothes on the floor", as they did with my suit pants in this same order, did not verify they were with my order, and once again.... Ted, the on duty manager at the Tide Dry Cleaners at 5pm today, on Mason Montgomery Rd in Mason OH is the worst manager I've ever seen in my life. He stepped outside to try to fight me because i was mad that he lost my suit and the fact that i was complaining about it. Ted has no customer service skills and has absolutely zero concept of how to manage a store. He should never be in a customer facing position. Hos two employees at the counter at the time were just as bad. Neither Ted nor his two emplyees at the counter should represent #PandG #ProcterAndGamble #TideDryCleaners. They are horrible people and a black mark on your organization. They deserve to lose their jobs for what happened today. Sidenote... i just left my infant cousins funeral and had to deal with Ted. I recently had some couch cushion covers dry cleaned here. I was in the process of moving and was guaranteed that they would be ready no later than Friday at 5 pm after dropping them off Wednesday. Upon going in to pick them up on Friday I was told that they couldn't find them and would have to come back the next day. This was a hassle as Saturday was the day the movers were moving all our stuff and I had to make a special trip over to get them. The lady did give me a 25% discount off of the total which was appreciated. The quality was good but not better than anywhere else I've dry cleaned and for their prices I do not think it's worth it. I was not told how much my total would be before leaving my items and when I picked them up it ended up being over $80 for couch cushion covers as they charged separately for them all which was not explained to me. read more

Took in 4 items, 2 dresses, a pant suit, and a blanket with fringe. A dress and the blanket were returned damaged. They did a decent job repairing the dress. The blanket was a different story. They called and told me they couldn't fix the fringe. They wanted to cut the fringe off one side, leaving fringe on one end. I went in to pick up the repaired dress and wanted to see the blanket again. They didn't have it, it was still with the seamstress. They'd have it sent back. Two weeks later, I had not heard from them that the blanket was back. So, I stopped in to find out where it was. It was in their conference room. The manager there on this day, offered me nothing other than cutting off the fringe making for an ugly blanket, which after 10 weeks from the initial drop off I was not going to do. This blanket was trash to me and Tide Cleaners put it there. Luckily, they gave me back the cost of the cleaning, but I am now out the cost of the blanket. Will never again use Tide Cleaners and will tell anyone that will listen of my experience. Update: 11 days ago Tide posted comment asking for contact info. I took my wedding dress to be cleaned at Tide Dry Cleaners in Mason, OH, but I will never be going there again. Ted (the store manager and person who cleans wedding dresses) assured me that my dress would be finished by June 25th since he was leaving for vacation on June 26th. They would call me when my dress was complete. After receiving no calls, I called on June 26th to see if my dress was done. Not only was it not done, but it had not even been touched since I dropped it off on June 11th. The girl who was at the computer said that they had a different pick-up day in the computer (which was odd since my take-home slip clearly stated June 25th). She said that Ted was the only person who handled wedding dresses. They could send it off to another store but it would take longer to be finished so she suggested that I wait for Ted to come back from vacation and assured me it would be done by July 16th. I was upset about the delay (especially since I was planning on selling the dress and had now lost several customers who weren't willing to wait. But I understood that sometimes computers can go awry). I came into the store on July 16th to pick up my dress. The person at the counter found my account on the computer and said that the computer matched my pick-up date. However, my dress had STILL not been touched by Ted. In fact, when they went to retrieve it they couldn't find it and the description in the computer for my dress said it was "solid blue" when my dress was "ivory". They gave me Ted's cell phone number and I called him right away. He assured me that my dress was there because he had seen it, but they had done a tour for P&G earlier that day and things had been moved around. He did admit to not getting to my dress, but didn't offer any explanation as to why. He told me that he would call me the next day (July 17th) to let me know that he had found my dress. He said he would give me 50% off of my dress for my trouble. He also assured me that he would be able to have it cleaned for me by Friday (July 18th) because it was a really slow week. In fact, he said "It was so slow today that I left work early and I'm actually on my way to golf". Now, I'm not sure why a store manager who is the only one in charge of wedding dress cleaning, would NOT 1.) Have a dress cleaned on the promised date 2.) inform the customer that the item was not finished before they drove out of their way to pick it up 3.) leave work early when an item still needed to be done. As promised, Ted called on Thursday and left me a voicemail to assure me that he had my dress in his hands and told me to come anytime after 3pm on Friday to take a look at it and if I was satisfied I could take it home. On Friday, I left work early to pick up my dress so that I would have enough time to have a face-to-face discussion with Ted (his office hours are until 6pm). When I arrived at 3:15pm, Ted was not there. He had left work early again. I took a look at my dress and there was still visible mud streaks on the outside train, but of course I couldn't point them out to Ted because he was not there. I tried calling his cellphone, but it went straight to voicemail. The staff told me they would have Ted give me a call right away when he came in on Monday morning. Monday morning comes around and still no call. I called Ted myself at my lunch break. He didn't remember who I was or which wedding dress I was calling about. When I told him how shocked I was that he did not stay on Friday to consult with me about my dress he didn't seem to think anything was wrong with his behavior. I recapped the whole story starting from June 11th and he finally admitted that he was in the wrong. I tried to describe where the stains were over the phone, which took some time. He said he would work on getting them out and that I could come back again that afternoon. He was going to leave early again, but I told him that it was not possible for me to leave work early for a 2nd time. He finally acquiesced to stay at the store until I got there. When I arrived, Ted took me to a back room so he could show me my dress in a clean environment without the bag on, which I greatly appreciated. He said that he usually does this for every wedding dress and he wasn't sure why he decided to leave on Friday and he was sincerely apologetic. He told me that if I had cash he would be willing to give me the dress for $25. I said I only had credit card so he was going to charge me $30 for it. He then proceeded to tell me that since I didn't have my dress pressed (that's the longest and most time consuming part of the process), that he was actually breaking even at $25. Originally I was happy to pay $95 for professional service, but I wouldn't willingly pay ANY money for the type of service I actually received with this company. I've been using Tide Dry Cleaners on Mason-Montgomery Rd. since they opened and I've always had really great experiences. Terrific service, exceptional tracking system and very nice cleaning job. This week, however, they went above and beyond to take care of me. I thought I had lost two jackets at the store. Tyler, who deserves a medal AND a raise, spent hours and hours looking for my missing garments. He kept in constant communication and always made me feel like they would do the right thing. He never argued with me or became defensive. Come to find out, the jackets were at the bottom of my closet :( I was sure when I told Tyler, he would be so annoyed with me. If he was, he never let on. As much I have tried, you keep doing little things that irritate the hell out of me. When we went to customer service therapy together, I thought there could be a new chapter in our relationship. That we could turn a leaf and be happy again. But then again, you disappoint me. Remember when we met? It was about five years ago, when I used to live in Anderson. I first saw your bright orange colors right there on Beechmont Avenue and thought, well there is something I need to try. My actions required that I had to have a difficult conversation with Widmer's. Do you remember her? She was closer to me than you were, but I was willing to give you a try. When I decided to move to Mason, I knew you'd be there waiting for me. I have been nice to you. I think I spent over $6,000 over the past 30 months I've been visiting you in Mason. But as I said, you disappoint me time and time again. I know you are expensive. I've accepted your billing system which is kind of a Rubik's cube designed to keep customers like myself trying to figure out how much we paid for what and if the "discounts" were applied. About two weeks ago, September 7 to be precise, you sent me one of your lovely emails letting me know, I was special. You were willing to give me 20% off in dry cleaning and another 20% off in comforters. Wow, did I feel special! I cut my coupons put them in separate bags, took my dirty laundry to you (shh! It's ok, you know me...), and off I went all excited because I was special. It did not matter that you had recently raised your prices about 15% and did not give me a heads up. The email was like you were trying to tell me, "it's all going to be OK." I should have known better. I should have paid attention to my wife who was telling me that you would disappoint me again. But no! I stuck by you and showed up and took another bag to you. Last Saturday I could not wait to go and get my clothes. Mary (not her real name) came out to the drive-through and with a kind smile that only someone who has been brainwashed by a big corporation asked if I was dropping off or picking up. Proudly I said, "It's me Mary, José, BOTH OF COURSE!!!." I got out of my car to help her with the new bag of you know what. I waited, and waited, and waited while Mary looked for my clothes in the back. She brought them over and I asked her if the discount had been applied to my comforter and she said while trying not to roll her eyes, "what comforter?" The little light bulb went on in her head, went back and came out with my daughter's beautiful comforter. I paid the $100+ bill and walked away. In a moment of weakness, I took a peak at the new formatted detailed bill clipped in the plastic covers and two things were evident; 1) you had completely changed the format taking out how the part where I could read how much I had paid per piece, and b) the receipt showed that NO DISCOUNT had been applied to the comforter. You can imagine how I felt. Sad, disappointed and angry. I walked into the store and told Mary, that it was over. That this was the straw that broke the camel's back. But it occurred to me that you deserve better. That me leaving you without telling you why would be the equivalent of you raising your prices without telling me. Oh, that did happen! By the way, as you know, about a year ago I sent an email to Bill (not his real name) the store's manager asking that maybe he should consider giving us (top 5% customers) a discount in our non-dry cleaning clothing as a thank you! Do you know the reply he sent back? None. Oh well... So, now I have shared all my frustrations about you, with you! There are no heavy feelings in my soul. Nothing is left but an unsavory sensation that I've been taken advantage of. Yes, you are good. Yes, you take care of broken buttons without me knowing. Yes, you are close to my house.
