I know the reviews are not impressive but we have come here many times and have never been disappointed in the wings. They are large and always hot. The sauces are always on point from sweet to hot to savory. I used to be a pluckers fan but have been burned too many times by the San Marcos location. The beer is cold and prices good. I can't speak to the other offerings as we usually get wings. There have been several times where we tried to order pizza but it wasn't available. Went to eat there for the first time in a long time and I noticed they were very understaffed from the getgo, we got our table and waited 20 minutes to get drinks but we were understanding due to the lack of employees. Tables were just sitting down and leaving Bc they weren't being helped. We sat for around 25 minutes waiting to order. We all ordered our food. When we got our food my friends food was incorrect. My food had not been delivered yet so I decided to eat the mistake instead, and the waiter said she would comp the mistake. They gave my friend a new order of wings but it was still incorrect (he ordered 24 they gave him 12) he didn't care as he just wanted to eat, pay and leave as soon as possible. We all get up to go pay and the waiter asked me to pay for the 24 wing mistake, I simply said I wouldn't pay for a mistake and she had told us that it would be comp'd. The waiter gets upset and says she will pay for the whole order and we had told her that wasn't necessary, we are willing to pay we just have to figure this out. She said have a good day and walked away. I feel bad for her as I know this can be tough job but getting upset is not the solution. 2 stars because the food was still decent. Just management needs to plan to have more people on a Saturday afternoon so situations like this don't occur. read more

Every time I come here after the second drink they don't add alcohol but offer for you to buy a shot yo add into the drink. I asked for the manager because even the sodas were wrong. After 30 mins someone comes over impersonating the manager her name was "Britney" she was out on the floor drunk. So when I asked my waiter what's the managers name she went to say it was "Robert". I questioned her why didn't she call Robert she said he was on the phone and wasn't available then she said he had left already. All waiters were drinking walking around with an alcoholic beverage. My mom and I went there Tuesday day night. Which was poker night. There were only two waiters there. It took a little bit to get our drink orders. Then took longer to get our food order. The waiters were so worried about the poker customers that they weren't paying attention to their other customers. They never asked us for refills on our drinks. Some of the poker people came in way after us. Had their drinks and food way before us and we ordered before them. It took a long time to make our food that we ended just leaving and going next door to Casa Garcia and got better service. Now I will say my friend talked me into going Friday night with her. They had 3 girls work and one guy I guess he was a manager. The service was a little better. They were busy and the girls were doing their best. If their going to have poker night then they need more people working. So the customers coming in that are not playing poker can get the right service!!!! read more

I've been here twice with my wife and have had an extremely lackluster experience each time. The place is just extremely mediocre and dirty. Their menus are sticky and smeared with sauce and greasy fingers - like this both times. The first time we mentioned it to the bartender and she scoffed at the notion that part of her job might require her to wipe the nasty things off every once and a while. The lemon pepper wings (dry rub) were soggy and drowning in grease and oil. The sauced wings are far too saucy and floating in a basket of the sauce. Last night when we were there, they were loudly jamming Tejano music/Latin rap in the dining area which is something you'd expect to hear next door at Casa Garcia's (great food and vibes) but doesn't exactly fit the soundtrack of a sports bar/wing restaurant. Just an overall sloppy place. Staff last night was super friendly and nice but it'll be our last time. Saw a new location opening on Slaughter, maybe a new place will be cleaner and better ran. read more

Went here on a Friday afternoon. Wings were good, I had the mango habanero and also the garlic ranch, both were very good. Waiter was good always came back and checked if we need anything. I also tried the bone in Buffalo sauce wings, which were good and I usually don't like Buffalo sauce. Only negative was I wish I ordered hotter wings, I'll know for next time. FOOD POISONING!!!! First off, I paid about $18 for 12 wings and a soda which is ridiculous. You cannot order wings without fries, and they upcharge you if you to sub for anything. Next, the soda I ordered from the bar was terribly mixed, and I couldn't even finish it. I was having a pleasant lunch with my family with a very engaging young lady who took our order. My son in law's order was incorrect so my daughter went to the counter to get it corrected. It came back to the table incorrect again and the supposedly fresh wings were cold. He decided he didn't want it anymore so offered to pay for his wife's order but not his own. The server became visibly upset and became very curt with him. He offered to pay for the two wings he tried. She called her mgr and we tried to correct her narrative, she started raising her voice and making a scene as if we were being confrontational in front of the other customers. My son in law walked out to no longer engage with her. We remained calm and she finally admitted her error. Then she rudely finished our transaction for the rest of the food. She seemed to be having a bad day when we walked in but I think she was already mad because she was working by herself. Hope she has a better day! This was very poor customer service. Stopped here after going to the Poteet strawberry festival, we ordered bone in wings and turns out the cook made boneless, so the manager gave us half off the wings and let us munch on the boneless wings while we waited for the new ones to be cooked up. This was my first time trying boneless and it was great! Hostesses and the girls working there (obviously their first job) could do with some more training but other than that customer service was great. Also wings were great. Just had dinner here and the only reason I gave it two stars was because our server was super sweet. First off, the place is dirty!! Everything needs to be cleaned, floors, tables, bathrooms, and yes the kitchen too! The two other young woman in there had so social skills and obviously didn't giv a hoot about our experience. Both our pizzas were incorrect, prob because they'd run out of the toppings the menu said it came with, and they just added whatever they had. this is my boyfriends & i go to spot , usually we prefer this over , wing stop but we got there today at 9:00pm , our waitress brought us our drink , didn't come back to check up on us until 9:40pm , meanwhile she was " serving beers " and sitting down with other customers. and just ignoring us , keep in mind there was only like 6 people tonight , the waitress looked like she was drunk/on drugs. she was dropping everything , her other coworker had to come help her, other customer step all over ranch SHE DROPED , and didn't bother to clean it .
