We were in the area and wanted something to eat and decided we'll try a spit we haven't eaten at yet. My son recommended this place and glad he did. The place is a good size and they have outside seating. They have a bar area and TVs. We were greeted right away and when there was a change in shift and servers we were informed before he was done with his shift which was nice. The food was cooked fresh and we just had water to drink. We ordered some appetizers and it looked all good so we got the sampler. The onion rings were so good. Haven't enjoyed onion rings for years. It was fresh, flavorful & yummy. The while sampler was pretty good. My fave were the rings and mushrooms. We ordered wings because they have wings in their name, so we had to try that and they turned out to be very good. They were cooked to order, a good size and they drown it with your choice of sauce. I had the garlic parmesan, hubby had extra hot because they didn't have the wicked, and my so had the Jamaican jerk. We were all satisfied and very happy with what we ordered. The place smelled clean and sanitary when you came in and staff was friendly and on top of things. I recommend this spot and Im sure we'll visit again when in the area. My friend and I went on a slow Saturday and were the only people there. Others eventually trickled in. The bartender was super cool (I think his name is Michael) and took great care of us. The fried mushrooms were very good and had a great crust with perfect texture inside. With ranch, they were divine. I ordered my wings xtra hot with lemon pepper and they came out split half and half (which I ultimately realized was for the best). The drinks are cheap and the wings were fresh. The waffle fry portion could be bigger (they are similar to Pluckers). Overall, this place has a great home in Kyle. read more

In Kyle this hidden gem awaits in the HEB parking lot. Some friends and I went here for karaoke in celebration of a birthday. Good drinks, good vibes and a fun spot to feel free to sing whatever. The deejay did a great job in rotating whoever signed up and encouraging us all. The two bartenders were awesome as well. There are places to sit around the bar or on the patio in the front outside. Wicked wings has a sports bar feel, the dinning room was clean and the TVs had every sports station on. The service was very attentive to our table and over all nice. The food was a little disappointing. The appetizer sampler was fresh and hot, it could have been a meal and was the best part of the meal. The Kickin' Bourbon wings were bland and not so kickin" (spicy) but it was fresh. While Philly Cheesesteak was hot and fresh it tasted more like a mushroom cheesesteak. Oh my.. service was slow and there were only 4 groups of people of 3 or under. They were out of sauces. Our food still came out wrong for two people and lack luster would be a compliment. Overpriced and also let someone, who clearly works there, because she was going behind the bar to make her own drinks.. twice before we were even greated all while openly smoking a vape and blowing it everywhere behind the bar and when sitting at the bar. I was fighting depression and anxiety and it's so important to have friendly people who really care about making sure you eat. I just met these guys and they already were happy to help. I ordered Sweet Red Chili boneless wings/Hot Honey. These are real cuts of breast meat, fried crispy. Side of ranch cools down the heat. I have never made a fuss about this, but it's about time your Cook gets his shit together. The person taking my order is always very quick to tell me that will be an up charge, which I am more than willing and have paid for. Not only am I paying over $50 for 16 chicken wings you guys cannot get my order correct. I would be a lot less likely to post a review if you had 5 to 10 different options but it is either wings or Flats, not that difficult. This will be the last time I waste money on this establishment. 1. Service was horrible. There was only one waitress but it wasn't too full. There was folks at the bar plus a table of 2 when we got there. We were also a party of 2. She was very very chatty to some folks & did not pay attention to others. Never got a water refill. 2. The menu was limited, waitress made us aware when she gave us menus at the table. 3. Waitress was obviously under the influence of alcohol. She was coherent & then after a while just obviously drunk. We come here regularly for date night since I work across the street at the hospital. It's just convenient when you work evenings. There is a couple of servers, that we try not to come in when they are here (Melissa) We have witnessed multiple times they are intoxicated and dancing on patrons, there was even a time when there was a server putting lights in her shirt to show nipples. I'm an Austin person and all for it but not in terms of someone who I'm entrusting with my food and beverage, let alone the only server in the bar at 12am on a Saturday. So unprofessional and as a previous member of the service industry, it's quite inappropriate. We have also been outside when the owners were spray painting the tables at 1 am, which was great *not* if we wanted to huff paint, we could kill out braincells some other way. Order the appetizer sampler and wash really greasy, can understand it's all fried but overly great for me. Got a 12 piece wings which was overpriced for me especially with the little amount of fries. The spicy lemon pepper was rated a level 1 heat and had no lemon pepper flavoring in it and had buffalo sauce on it which is rated a level 2 on heat so I did not understand that. Not much flavor. The garlic parmigiana wings were better but all were a bit over cooked. Only one waitress in the building which is okay but she got our drinks, order and brought the food and never checked back on us. Keep conversations with everyone else. If you say a burger comes with Swiss shouldn't you serve it with Swiss. It was literally white American cheese. American cheese goes on kids burgers and fast food. Here's the kicker, I inquired about the cheese and asked the barkeep to see what it said on the package. She came back without finding a package, but was told it is American Swiss. WTH is that? Recently went back to give this place one more try. Was pleasantly surprised with the great service we received. The male bartender that was there was very friendly and on top of things. Happy to see that we received a lot better service then the time before. This place is small but has indoor/outdoor seating. So I'm new to the SM area but i wanted to give this place a try so in my opinion, the skin to these wings are amazing. I got the original hot/buffalo flavor and they were flavorful. The french fries we're crunchy which i like that so i won't complain, they just some typical french fries nothing special, no seasoning on them or none of that. If i was to compare these wings from WingStop and/or Pluckers, they're better than WingStop but not better than Pluckers. As for the service, when i went-i went all by myself so the server took care of me and didn't have small talk with me which i like. He was nice & attentive to my needs (which i didn't need besides just when i needed to order and pay). I would go again for the wings. read more

I had the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant . Coming from the restaurant  industry I'm usually more lenient on mistakes but tonight was the worst. I'm currently still waiting on my food it's been an hour and 10 minutes now. They first brought my food out after 45 minutes and I had orderd boneless hot honey . They brought me bone in  with hot garlic.  I've never waited so long for food. Upon asking for a manager   There  was not one here  They took half off my meal. When I finally got my meal I had waited a total of an hour and a half from when I ordered that's just crazy. I came tonight and the bartender lady (that's not even wearing her mask properly, has it under her chin, while making drinks or doing anything in the restaurant) came to take our order we only got our drinks and fried pickles, but waited for an hour plus! A group walked in, sat behind us and got their food within 15 minutes that they got there. The bartender lady and her other coworker were only paying attention to ONE big group the whole night. I came when it was a little bit busy, and I think they were short handed. I ordered the 4 piece extra crispy, bone-in wings (yea not breaded!). I wasn't sure which sauce to order, so I decided to be brave and order the hottest on the menu. Emma warned me, schooled me with a tiny sample of their pepper spray level sauce. After humiliating myself, I backed down to hot. Not hot enough. So, next time, I will Goldilocks those wings and order extra hot. Just FYI--my wings came our cool and raw the first time. We showed up during baseball tournament break with a group of about 18 about 15 min before opening when only the cook was there..he opened up and seated us when he could have turned us away as he was the only one there at the time. Took our drink and food orders and got right to work! A little bit after another person showed up and took our alcoholic beverage orders and delivered orders out as they came available.
