After craving wings for the entire day, I finally decided to grab myself wings so I stumbled across Wicked Wings in Kyle, TX and did just that. As soon as I walked in I spotted my sitting area but had to really find one that was cleaned off. I didn't want to cause attention so I brushed off sucking candy wrappers and crumbs which sat there during my entire experience unattended to by the bartender who was actually on her game, all things aside. The loaded waffle fries was about the best thing I had there so far. The buffalo wings that were supposed to be well done, were just hot wings with hot sauce, nothing buffalo about it and nothing well done to it - for two orders of wings. A little on the slimey side. First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that none of the featured photos of the menu items looked appetizing what so ever. Which also was the first comment made from the person I had brought along with me. Being a photographer I reached out to them on a separate occasion and offered my services; I was left at "seen" and ignored. First time here, we got the appetizer sampler and it was the bomb dot com! Southwestern egg rolls did not disappoint. Wings were cooked to the perfect temperature and they're HUGE! Service was on point, didn't have to ask for a single thing, everything we needed was brought to us with out have to ask. Great experience, will def be coming back. read more

Called in an order for 2 people (wings and fries for each) and was quoted about 30 minutes for it, not a big deal, it was Sunday night. Got there to pick it up and the place was pretty empty, about 10 people total, how could it take so long to cook wings and fries then if the place isn't busy. This placed seemed like a cheap strip center bar that was popular when they first opened, however that wasn't the case anymore. Once we received the order, everything looked and smelled delicious how we when we got the food home at ate it, the food was pretty subpar. This was typical bar food, chewy wings smothered in way too much sauce. Soft, unsalted fries, even with an order of "seasoned fries" they were not seasoned. This place is disgusting. Do Not Eat Here. Check out the history of these 5 star reviews with zero followers. It literally shows you how low these people will go. Formerly Wings to Go that reopened, and it is still operates like they have no idea what they're doing. The menu is ridiculous and the food is trash. As a Kyle local, I'm still trying to figure out how they keep their doors open. This place needs to be rescued by professionals or shut down. They obviously don't want to work or even be there. This isn't about lack of experience, this is lack of work ethic. Send the Bar Rescue guy in or something geez... Issue 1: You call yourself a wing spot and your wings taste like an after thought. Nothing about them taste like it's your specialty. You have so much open room to use creative drive that could kill Wing Stop, but instead have amateurs in the kitchen. What rock are you living under where you don't see all the new flavors of wings you can rotate and try out? Issue 2: The menu is too busy. You're a hole in the wall, get your menu together. It screams flunky. Instead of offering 80 different things try actually getting maybe 8 to 10 things right to include kid menu and portions. There are burgers within walking distance so fix those damn wings! Issue 3: The drinks here are...meh. If your food is average at best then at least wow with your drinks. Who ever gave this place 5 star review needs to not be allowed to do reviews Yelp. Its very suspicious that some of the folks who gave this place 5 stars only had 1 review and it was for this place. We decided to give this place another go as it had changed management. There is not a menu online for you to check to see what they have available. We go in to get a to go order. It took over an hour to get our food. It was only until we asked what was going on that they informed us that they had a fryer that went down. They did offer us drinks for our wait, but still brought us the wrong drink. The only good thing about this place is the bone in wings were large. The fries are battered fried and were cold. Both the bone in and the boneless wings had little flavor. The hot wings were tangy, but did not have the typical hot wing flavor. The garlic parmesan boneless had a hint of garlic, but nothing more. Both the bone in and boneless wings were way greasy. The burger had a homemade bun which was a plus, but it was burned when they tried to toast it. The bacon for the burger needs to not look black and overcooked. The burger patty was not the typical 80/20 mix that you usually find at other places. It also had zero flavor to it. You can get a better burger from the precooked frozen section of the grocery store next door. I know this place just opened; but, if this is the level of service and quality of food you are going to get, they are not going to be around long. Mixed review. We got a Groupon (just a coupon for the place, didn't pay for it but it's the reason we tried it). Owner didn't honor it, saying Groupon sought them out and offered the coupon but WW never accepted. No discount (which isn't great customer service). I got the chicken sandwich which was actually pretty good, their fries were really good. Wings were disappointing because they weren't crispy and their flavor was very lacking (I got garlic parm). My husband got chicken tenders with Garlic Ranch sauce and said it was also lacking flavor, and he also found TWO LONG HAIRS in the breading of his tenders, which means kitchen doesn't wear hair nets. Gross. I would have sent it back or said something but it was his food, and he didn't want to. So, I don't know how they would have rectified the situation. Went to Wicked Wings on Friday 4/23/21, the service was crappy, I had to ask the bar folks if I needed to order with them or did I have to wait for someone to take our order. The bar person said you can order at the bar, then said she would come to our table to take our order. The beer was warm and then there was a patron who had his pants to the floor showing his junk and under constantly using 4 letter words and making racial comments. The management did nothing about it the entire time. The waiter dropped off the food and basically dropped it off at the table with no "here you go "nothing !! The 60 regular wings were not entirely bad, they had some flavor and some feathers still also. The biggest let down was the Hot and Sriracha boneless wings. They were overcooked to the point that they were really tuff the others were really hard to the point of not being consumable. The Hot sauce was not hot and really not sure what the flavor was. The sriracha sauce was a bit more distinguishable but not great at all. The fried pickles were extremely soggy with oil and not crispy at all. Our waitress must have been new because she messed up all of our orders and then argued with us when we told her they were wrong. Had to ask for service, had to ask for menus (which arrived dirty and sticky) and only got 3 for our party of four.
