First time here -I saw the sign up a few weeks ago and I'm glad that they're up and running. Sat at the bar and was taken care of by Ian and EriK. Had a sweet martini kisses with champagne, a delicious Caesar salad and mussels as an entrée served with warm toasted cheese bread by Chef Jason. Walking in they seem kid friendly; the bar had three flatscreen TVs and there's a second level that I did not get to explore. Will come back- curious to see what the dinner menu looks like. Sampled the bar/ lunch menu that runs til 5pm. read more

We went to Wicked Sisters because of Maryland Vegan Restaurant Week. We'd been wanting to go there because of good reviews and it's close to home. We had made reservations online and were promptly seated upstairs. The two of us got different items from the $35 three course menu and we each tasted them. My food (tom kha soup, faux crab cake) was very bland and lukewarm. The only highlight was the Beyond meatballs (although the rest of the dish was lacking in flavors. It took a conscious wait/stare for our server to take our order and then to get the check when we were done. We were looking forward to a nice vegan dinner but instead got what we felt was overpriced, mediocre food. Disappointing! read more

Just went this morning for brunch. It was purrfeeccttt! I'm so glad we took the plung. Valet parking makes the location easy and chill.

If you get nothing else get the lobster Mac and Cheese!!! Excellent lunch and friendly staff.

Little expensive, but 100% worth it. Customer service is was perfect, with a lasting impression, food was fast and delicious. 11/10

Loved it... Loved the friendly staff, loved the vibe, loved the rustic decor, loved the intimate spaces, and loved the food... they do some magic on their brussel sprouts. read more

Excellent food quailty, selection and atmosphere. Unique menu items too. Parking is a bit of a struggle depending on when you go.

I came here for brunch about a month ago with a party of 6. It was really nice that they took reservations and had a nice table in a private room ready for us. The little room was great because we didn't have to worry about being too loud or offending a table with children, which is inevitable in our group... They were playing the best music while we were there and it was so fitting because it was music that we all loved. The music couldn't have been more perfect, to the point where we were getting suspicious of how they could've known to play all of our favorite songs. Jordan was our server and she was fantastic. She totally kept up with us and was the perfect blend of friendly and fun, yet professional. Almost everyone ordered the burger, which was very, very good. I have to admit, I'm a little over sriracha, so I was kind of not interested in that aspect of it, but for what it was, it was an amazing burger. We were all very happy. read more

Wicked Sisters - Burger with breakfast potatoes was so good! - American Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

We live close to this place and I really like what they've done with the space. After the McCabe's fire, I often wondered what, if anything would take its place. The space is open and inviting, slightly industrial with simple but enjoyable food. It's elevated bar/comfort food, with some imaginative twists. We've tried the wedge salad, tomato & fennel soup with grilled cheese croutons, baked meatballs (Grandma's recipe), Insanity burger, and the crispy fried wings. I would definitely try some other entrees. We went once for brunch and I got the crab breakfast bowl which was different and a good usage of delicious crab meat. My most favorite thing is the Strawberry Basil Crush. It's made with Stoli Strasberi Vodka, muddled strawberries, simple syrup, and basil. It is heaven in a glass. Service has always been good-we typically sit at the bar because it's usually busy and we have never made a reservation. The upper bar is where we normally sit. It's a great spot to catch up with friends, and they can accommodate larger parties as well. I am glad it's in our neighborhood and I wish them much success. There is street parking on the rather busy Falls Road, or valet in the adjacent lot. The valet is a funny teenage kid who doesn't know how to drive a manual so we typically park our own car. read more

Food is decent at Wicked Sisters Tavern. Get the burger. They also have snake oil to compliment your food. It looks spicy.

I been wanting to try wicked sisters for long time. Finally got here. The atmosphere is great environment, feels kinda at home. They have a upstairs and downstairs. The plus about this place is it located in Hamden area, so parking is terrible, but they have complimentary valet parking. The customer service was great the waiter was very attentive, kept coming back to check on us. The food was good. We ordered a table full, really went for the Brussel sprouts. We got the Brussel sprouts, turkey burger, crab dip, salmon, mussels, and chicken salad. All the food was delicious, but my turkey burger was fully cooked. The manager came out and apologized, and the waiter. They even brought me out some hot fresh fries. I would go back for a second visit, maybe just get the appetizer, and not the entree. The appetizer will fill you up. The Brussel sprouts, and crab dip are a must to try. They were the best out of the food dishes. I say give wicked sisters a try, you will really like it. read more

Atmosphere, food, drinks, service - this place is excellent. The food is classic upscale American with interesting culinary twists that are well-executed and served in huge portions. Also, the cocktail menu is creative and everything is delicious. It's a chic, well-designed place that's classy and a little cozy. I've been here for a quick drink on a weeknight dressed very casually, and also it was a fun spot for a fun Saturday night birthday dinner. And, the service is amazing. Wicked Sisters just has all the pieces of a puzzle of a great restaurant - my only complaint is that it's not closer to my house! read more

We were lucky enough to get in opening night here ! We thought since we didn't make a reservation we would fair at the bar and have some snacks and people watch. Well boy were we wrong ... Both bars were completely packed ! They were nice enough to get us seated on opening night without reservation even though the place was packed. Staff were all super friendly. The décor is great. 3 TVs at the downstairs bar. We started with the raclette app over potatoes and my only disappointment was they didn't come table side and slide the cheese off in front of you. However it was a delicious starter. BF had the insanity burger which was awesome and side of fries which were perfectly cooked. I had the half sandwich and butternut squash soup both of which were great! Despite being fill we couldn't pass up dessert. I never heard of wine cream and had to taste that. It was good a different and definitely boozy. Red wine , ice, cream and chocolate chips . Mmmm. He had the birthday cake Sunday which was amazing and I almost didn't give it back to him! Drinks were equally great. The grapefruit crushes is one of the best I had in baltimore. Good beer selection. Good mules. Will absolutely be back esp since we are just down the street. Btw brunch menu looks awesome too. Upstairs has shuffle board and bathrooms are super nice. read more

I've had some pretty good meals here, but last night was, well, Not very good. The service was painfully slow, and when the food finally came out, it was lukewarm. The appetizers (crab dip, Brussels sprouts, mussels) were tasty, and three items was plenty for six of us. But we waited and waited to get our food. Another strange thing about Wicked Sisters is that their water glasses are tiny -- the very same ones you used to get at institutional cafeterias. We kept having to get refills over and over. I hope this was just an off-night, and not a sign that things are going downhill. read more

Service was great. Loved the upstairs dining. The garlic pesto tomato sauce on the squash pasta was delicious. I asked for veggies as a side instead of the garlic cheesy bread for my pasta, and they gave me some delicious juicy mushrooms (no extra charge). Tofu in the penne was nothing special...not spiced at all. read more

Had a great dining experience, the food was good and the wait staff was very courteous! My second time dining there.

Trendy gastropub with enticing menu selection. Creative cocktails and mocktails. Delicious warm, golden and crusty rolls are a wonderful side. Classic rock and rustic yet slightly upscale atmosphere. Javier was was an incredibly attentive and kind bartender. read more

I am still talking about the Brussels Sprouts! In addition to the sprouts, I had the crab cake with fries and asparagus. I was pleasantly surprised by the crab cake, it is much harder to get a good crab cake than it should be in Baltimore. I had fries and asparagus as my sides. Both were excellent. The only reason that I didn't give this place 5 stars is the lackluster dessert. We tried the Wine Cream and the Smith Island Cake. I was disappointed by both. The Wine Cream had an odd flavor- too winey (and I didn't think that was possible). The Smith Island Cake was dry. read more

Big Flavor in a Small Package On a weekday night we arrive a little early and find this place humming with activity. We order burgers, a reuben, and the brussel sprouts appetizer. Did I mention the brussel sprouts? Wow? A full plate of roasted sprouts full of crunch, teaming of flavor. The burgers were perfectly done with plenty of extras to fix anyone's burger fix. Wicked Sisters is a small space, but, they deliver large portions big on flavor. Note: Parking is tight. Be patient. read more

I don't even know where to start! Amazing all around Booked a table for 12 for a casual get together of old schoolmates. Got there and all good- ready to go! Since in cases like this people just trickle in, we started with 3 people at 5pm and people were just coming and going even past 9pm! Regardless of the table count and the ridiculous amount of time we were there, the staff was friendly and professional - we just LOVED our server Dana! She is amazing !!!! The food was absolutely wonderful and delicious as well! Drinks were great and included classics with a "twist" so that was fun. read more

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. Came here on a Friday night for dinner. Sat at the bar. Our bar tender Danny was super nice and on top of everything. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxed and not too loud so you can have a conversation with the people you're with. Now for the best part: THE FOOD!!! Only ordered two dishes but they were phenomenal!!! Crab Mac and cheese for appetizer. Huge portion. I don't know what kind of cheese they used but it was delicious and had great consistency. Lots of crab meat and just the right amount of old bay. Insanity burger for dinner. Everything everyone else has said about this burger is spot on! It's huge so don't fill up on apps. I ordered it without any of the extras and had it cooked medium. Best burger I've had in Baltimore! And the fries and dipping sauce they came with were something else! One note: if you don't like spicy, ask for no Sriracha on your burger. It's not an overwhelming amount but next time I'll have mine without. At that point I was too full for dessert. I'll definitely be back to try this place again! read more

Very good meal in the old McCabe's space. Seafood soup was great. Baked sprouts were perfect. While there were some "blah" selections it's the little touches that make basic fare stand out. Example: a very average(Smoked Gouda and water crackers?) cheese plate was kicked up with 3-4 small jams and spreads. Service is only fair but appropriate. We sat outside but Inside is where the action is! It was trivia night! Just good old fashioned neighborhood fun. They are trying hard at all things and succeeding. read more

Great choice for a casual meal! Had 2 "young adult" grandkids with me,and we all had great food and more importantly a great time. Our server,Jordan, was really helpful with suggestions and by bringing us samples of the drinks before we made our choices.. we all had totally different plates, and everything was delicious, plentiful and well paced.. no rushing and also no long waits.I would definitely recommend this place for a high-quality casual meal. It is definitely not a fancy place at all but at least on the first floor where we sat it was very comfortable. Convenient and free valet parking is a plus for me! read more

We were 5 minutes early, so nice to be seated. Pleasant wait staff; brought requested beverages and beer promptly plus water ( love the ice, btw) and then let us be to ponder our brunch / lunch selections. Our group had Mac n cheese ( almost too creamy, but we licked the dish), split the chicken waffle sandwich and the rest had eggs bennies. They were gone before our refill cocktails had a chance! Delightful way to start our adventure... we ended up "on de Avenue, hon" . Servings of potatoes too large, felt bad leaving them. Sausage in the sandwich maybe should be in a patty form? As they rolled off the waffle. Do swing in and enjoy the food and atmosphere; we'll be back the next time we need a Hon fix! read more

It was OK. We went in for Restuarant week, and it was fairly busy. We were seated within 5 minutes, and ordered our drinks and 3 course dinner at the same time. Everything came spaced out and our drinks were brought out in a timely manner. Just wasn't really impressed with the dishes! I had the brisket, which had jalapeño corn bread and green beans with it. Was kinda dry, didn't really stand out. My fiancé got the duck lamb but we didn't realize it would come out shredded. It was more pasta and sauce than anything. We did love the duck fat fries though! And our waitress was very kind. Prob won't be returning anytime soon, unless maybe happy hour. read more

Wicked Sisters is a great new restaurant in Hampden. There's free valet parking which is nice when you can't find parking on Falls Rd. The atmosphere is cozy, hipster and rustic. It feels very much like a cozy tavern with farmhouse tables and little nooks throughout the restaurant. The menu is a little pricey but the selection seems wide. There was little to eat as a gluten-free vegan, I really wish there were more options for someone on a more restricted diet. My vegan but non gluten free husband was able to find a few options and was very pleased with his meal. I couldn't write this review without mentioning how pleasant, friendly and accommodating the staff was. Multiple staff members checked on us to make sure we were okay, we were never without water, and our food and drinks came out quickly and warm. This place feels like Woodberry Kitchen's little sister-- and if there were more options for those on a restricted diet, this would probably be more new favorite restaurant. However, until the menu expands to accommodate more gluten-free and vegan options, I probably will find somewhere else more accommodating until then. read more

Great place to grab a gourmet-like meal at down home cooking prices. We came here for a lunch and were promptly greeted and seated. We got the meatballs, tomato soup and brussel sprouts (all very tasty). The portion size was just right and it they were served at the right temperature. The waitstaff was friendly, although she could have smiled more and checked back a bit more on us to help make the experience exceptional. Overall, we'll be back and will keep fellow yelpers updated. read more

We randomly found this place while searching for 4+ star restaurants that are close to the Zoo. We just finished seeing the Zoo lights, called ahead and blindly picked the insanity burger, chicken entree, crab cake, butternut squash soup and Ceasar Salad. The Chicken and burger were very good. The crab cake was EXCELLENT, along with the butternut squash soup. The veggies were all fresh and delicious. And they have arguably the perfect fries. Years ago I went on a hunt for the best crab cake and have tried all the "top 10" lists. This little Tavern nailed it. Lump crab, light seasoning, good texture, no filler and broiled to perfection. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture before devouring it! The next time you are at or near the Zoo - they are just 2 miles away...7 minute drive to be exact. Try them. We will definitely be back! read more

Absolutely terrible service. Food was marginal at best. Hostess was friendly, but that's about where our good experience ended. After over 15 minutes of waiting at the table, we requested a server because no one had even been over to greet us. Ordered a food and beer. Beer came out super slow. Food was delivered by someone other than our server. Had to request the check because server was no where to be found through our entire meal and after dinner conversation. Super disappointing experience. read more

Saw this spot on the food network.. I think, but the food was pretty good. The wings were great. Also, they have some of the best turkey burgers. Meatballs were to die for. So was my sandwich. I tried the Rachel with a side of Mac and cheese. The sandwich was super yummy especially the bread (perfectly grilled with butter). Mac and cheese was also very good but definitely had a smoky taste. 10/10 would come back to try more. I wanted to eat the whole menu read more

It's okay. The environment is probably the best part of this place. The food is okay and service is ... okay... they happened to be out of the first and second draft that I picked. A more senior server came up to us to tell us that our server had 4 hrs out of th 4 weeks of training that he was supposed to have so it wasn't his fault...just sounds like questionable management to me. I got the salmon BLT and it was pretty good. Mac and cheese appetizer was good. read more
