I repeatedly had to follow up to get answers and action. One of the biggest problems was that my existing door trim was removed, and I then had difficulty getting Feldco to take accountability for addressing the trim after the installation issues occurred. Eventually, the situation became frustrating enough that I cancelled my order, and the installation was never completed. I understand that issues can happen during home improvement projects. What I don't understand is why the customer has to repeatedly chase the company for communication and accountability after those issues occur. For a company performing work inside someone's home, I expected much better workmanship, communication, and follow-through. I would strongly recommend doing your research before signing with Feldco and asking exactly what happens if the installation isn't completed properly or an existing part of your home is removed during the process.

The installers were great. Everyone behind the scenes, however, from sales to customer service is just really under serving in almost every way possible. Sales doesn't want to hear from you after they've made the sale. The project manager is over it kinda the whole time but definitely once install is completed. Then you're left with a (likely underpaid) "concierge" who is left to deal with upset customers and can't help much or update you on anything. On the day of install we immediately found out that the electronic Yale door knob on the door did not work. After many calls from us, and reschedules on their end they finally scheduled a new doorknob install for August 5th. Two months. The new Yale door knob STILL doesn't work, which was discovered on August 5th by the installer. Same issues as the last one. We are now at August 11th and they are just ghosting us. Every single person we have tried to contact for the last week has ignored, or said they'd follow up and has not. So here we are! Big thank you to Geoffrey Kurowski in sales, our project manager Thomas Willoughby and I'm not going to name the concierge cause she's been the most helpful but still not able to do much. Since I have mobility issues, he went up to look at the window. First he needed a place to work from so I said he could use the garage. Then he asked for paint. An hour later he was at my door telling me he was finished. I made my was upstairs and almost nothing had been done. Never needed any work space and no painting either. The windows were leaking to the point that it was taped. Basically, all he did was unstick the window and nothing else. I pointed out the tape and he said he hadn't noticed it. That's his job. He went back and caulked the edge of one window. For this we paid $450. My neighbor went to look at the work and was appalled. I was embarrassed. We feel completely ripped off. Asked for a receipt that was never sent. We are now hiring another company to do it over. Save yourself a lot of grief and don't call them.
