The young girl was nice but the lady came out of the back to take part of my order away bc "it has a name in it/reserved", which was not the case at all. I absolutely love this store and tell everyone about it. The staff is inredible and so knowledgeable. I have a 5 year old lab who has a lot of allergies and they have helped me and been my savior. they have an geeat selection of food, treats, and toys. my dog loves coming in with me as well and about loses his mind when we pull up. I also loved the raw food classes they do. I learned so much and was able to implement it into my routine for my pet. this place and the staff are 10/10 and I couldn't say anything more positive about them. read more

I recently met one of the owners at CBW while I was picking up my dogs. I grabbed a bag of the Chicken Chips (as those are the top preferred treats by my two picky eaters) and she introduced herself. We have been feeding our dogs a very fresh diet since August of 2023 and have found it to be a challenge finding healthy, natural treats. Once a company that they carry merchandise from gets bought out by a large megacompany, they stop carrying that product. Wonderful products, great customer service. They are both true Naples locals and grew up here as childhood friends. They both had professional lives but felt like something in their lives was lacking. So, they got together, and with a lot of heart, they created Wholesome Hound. I LOVE going in to talk with both of them. If they had a bar with cold beer in there, I might be there for hours. They have gone above and beyond to order special things I have asked for without even a commitment to buy. I found Wholesome Hound when I moved here because I was looking specifically for these frozen raw food patties that my dog is obsessed with. I went on to Stella & Chewy's website and found that this was my local store that sells their food. When I went in, Molly and Stephanie immediately were engaged in finding out how I ended up in Naples and all about my Frenchie. They even gave me info on a Frenchie meet up group. They also have a lot of in-store and local events. I remember there was a pet massage class there not too long ago...how awesome! There is such a sense of community about this place. I just can't find the right words to describe how great this place is. Usually going to "the groomers" is something I really don't look forward to and can be downright dreadful, ominous, nightmarish (dog hair, cat hair, leashes, anxious pets and people, the smell of wet fur...). NOT HERE! Wholesome Hound is an absolute gem and the experience was a joy - the pleasure was all mine (and our dog's!)! I have been dying to come to wholesome hound!!! I was on vacation in Naples about two months ago and stopped by on a Sunday which was my last day in town and sadly they were closed. My heart was broken lol. I decided to visit Naples again and the first stop we made on a day out from our hotel was wholesome hound. I didn't care that it was storming and I had just gotten my hair done lol I jumped out the car and went in. I was like a kid in a candy store because I love spoiling my dog. This store makes u want to buy things even if you don't need it. Its clean, the people are so sweet both customers and employees. They had just finished having a little Halloween party for the dogs. Everyone was so welcoming and wanting to help. I always thought they only did dogs, but I finally decided to check this store out to see if they had cat food and treats for weight loss and I'm so happy I did because they were very helpful. They were very knowledgeable, they were curious about my cats which is fun, and introduced me to every employee at the store for future visits. They have the kind of natural and healthy cat food, treats, and supplements that I always hoped to find at chain pet food stores, but never could. Awesome! My Shih Tzu, Marta and I had such a great experience at the Wholesome Hound. Molly and Steph were great and made us feel right at home, even though we were visiting Naples from Boston.
