    They are so kind to all the pups. The grooming is excellent and my dog is no longer afraid to be groomed.

She assured me she was experienced in grooming westies, told me she grooms many show dogs and I was excited to meet her because of her high Yelp ratings. Also, to try out the bakery next door she mentioned. When I showed up Friday for our appointment, she was not there. Finally showed up about 15 minutes late and it was complete chaos! She set off her alarm unlocking the doors and told me to wait while she took care of her regulars although I was the first in line. I politely waited over 20 minutes until she called me inside and said I did not have an appointment but would take my dog anyway. Acted like she was doing me a favor and wondered if I was in the right place. #1 I wrote down her address, date & time when we spoke and #2 she mentioned the Argentinian bakery next door. Oh I how I wish I had turned around and left!!! We discussed a "short westie cut with a pretty westie head", but this was a scalp job. My dog's cut looks NOTHING like a West Highland Terrier - and there was a chart on her wall right by her grooming table with a picture of a westie! His head has absolutely no shape and 4 days later is still razor burnt. The icing on the cake was my dog came home smelling like he did not have a bath. I am just so confused on many levels with this experience from a "professional master groomer". I chose Designer Dogs because of her ratings, past photo/review from someone with a Cairn Terrier (similar to a westie) and mention how kind/careful she was. Unfortunately, I must have caught Robin on a bad day and would not recommend bringing your dog here.

    As a fellow veterinary clinic calling about a mutual client, we were shocked by the level of…read moreunprofessionalism we experienced from Skylar specifically, a receptionist at Pet Paradise. We called to confirm if the patient records we sent had been received--nothing out of the ordinary. Instead, we were met with complete silence for nearly two minutes. No greeting, no acknowledgment. When she finally spoke, it was with a rude, dismissive "um... can you hold up?" and a tone that was completely unacceptable. Her attitude was not only unprofessional--it was outright disrespectful. This type of behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in veterinary care where clear, respectful communication between clinics is essential for the wellbeing of our shared patients. This is not the level of service or professionalism anyone should expect, especially in a setting that involves the care of animals and coordination between veterinary professionals. I sincerely hope this is addressed, as it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. Her attitude was shockingly careless and disrespectful. In a field where communication and compassion matter--especially between veterinary teams--this kind of behavior is inexcusable. It left a terrible impression of the facility as a whole. If this is how Pet Paradise handles basic inter-clinic communication, it raises serious concerns about how they manage more critical interactions. This experience was incredibly disappointing and reflects poorly on their facility. Pet Paradise needs to seriously evaluate who they have representing their front desk.

    I was initially very pleased with Furry Land Mobile Dog Grooming. I used them once, was happy with…read morethe service, and scheduled my next appointment for two months later. My appointment was scheduled for Monday at 9:00 AM. However, on Thursday, I received an email stating that my appointment had been successfully rescheduled to a different time. The problem was that I never requested a reschedule. If Furry Land needed to change my appointment, I would have expected a phone call to discuss available options rather than receiving an automated notification that the appointment had already been moved. The new appointment time did not work for me, so I called to discuss the situation. Unfortunately, I reached an answering service. They said they would contact the franchise owner and have someone call me back. Later, I received a call from a woman who identified herself as the manager. When I explained my concern, she repeatedly told me that she had not rescheduled the appointment and that "the system" had done it. While that may have been true, it completely missed the point of my concern. My issue was not who or what changed the appointment--it was that the appointment was changed without my knowledge, approval, or input. Rather than acknowledging that frustration or offering a solution, the conversation kept returning to the fact that the system made the change. At that point, I realized we were not going to reach an understanding, so I asked that my appointment be canceled and decided to find another mobile groomer. I made one phone call and secured an appointment with another groomer for the very next day. The grooming service itself was good, which makes this experience disappointing. Customer service and communication matter just as much as the quality of the grooming, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations.
