Manny did an absolutely excellent job with my Australian shepherd. Generally when I take her to get groomed I dislike the cut because she looks like she was simply buzzed. So very happy she came out looking like effort was put into her cut. I will definitely come again. I should also note the address is wrong on Yelp/internet. He is at Shampooch, so search that place and he's there. But I should also note the location on iPhone maps is slightly off :/ but it's just south 100yds more. Tried Manny's out because a friend recommended him. Appointment was at 10am, but had a meeting at 9, and Manny was more than willing to keep the pups as early as 8:30am which completely saved the day. I did not want to reschedule as my dogs were due for a groom. Picked them up and my expectations were exceeded for such a reasonable price. You can also tell he cares for them as they were his own. I've only known Manny for 6 months or so, but all I can say is WOW! He is amazing with his "babies",! (what he calls the pets he takes care of) He is an easy going kind of guy and I think you will find it very pleasant working with him. Both he and his wife work wonders in grooming. I take my 12 year old Springer Spaniel to Manny and he does a fabulous job. She has trouble standing up the whole time because she is so old and he is very patient with her and let's her rest through out the bathing and grooming process. His prices are very reasonable to. Wow! I have a Border Collie & a Pomeranian- age 12 & 5 respectively. They have never looked so good coming out of the groomers before! Having just moved here from the Chicago area, I wasn't sure how to best groom my black collie, Manny knew just what to do! I am sure she will be cooler w/ this cut- not to mention adorable! My pom could be in a pageant... Manny is very knowledgeable about various breeds. He is also a perfectionist. Their nails were absolutely perfect . He takes credit cards too. I was so thrilled with my old groomer in Chicago I never thought anybody could equal them in quality. Manny is my second groomer down here in Florida. A few months ago, I called Manny for a quote for my 90lb golden. I was very honest about her -- told him she was a big girl, and very sweet, but fairly energetic (she's actually a golden/lab mix - both very excited pups). He quoted me $75. I was thrilled with that price, and I scheduled an appointment immediately. I took her in a few days later, and I was told I would get a call when she's ready. A few hours later, I got the call, so I went to pick her up. When I got there, I was told that it would just be another few minutes. They weren't quite done (so why did you call?). I waited another 15-20 minutes, and they finally brought her out. Manny told me (kind of annoyed) "she's a VERY big girl, and she moves a lot...". I said "yes I told you both of those things". He said "well my assistant is very small so your pup was very hard for her to control" I'm not sure what he was anticipating from a 90lb dog, and I've never had anyone else complain about this. In fact, I've stood outside of groomers before and watched my pup during part of a grooming session, and she stood still and behaved. I then noticed on the desk at Manny's the sign that says "difficult dogs may be charged an added fee". I could understand if it was a dog that couldn't be controlled, an aggressive dog, or something along those lines. But again, mine is big and pretty energetic, but she's not badly behaved. Sure enough, when I went to pay my bill, it was $20 more than originally quoted. Now, I'm actually used to paying about that much for her to be groomed. The only reason I was so shocked was because of the difference from the original quote. I was charged $20 more because my dog was big -- something he was already aware of. When I got her home, I gave her a once over, and I discovered she still had some small matting behind her ears, on her belly, and on her bum. So now I've paid $20 more than quoted, gotten an attitude for the size of my dog, AND the grooming job itself wasn't thorough. My pup is 5 years old. She's been groomed plenty of times. No one has ever complained, and no one has ever had issues doing a great and thorough job. Needless to say, I will be looking elsewhere for a groomer who isn't clearly used to grooming 5-10lb puppies. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE UNLESS YOU EXPECT TO PICK UP THE WRONG DOG WHEN YOU RETURN AFTER THEIR GROOMING! This place put my Bestfriend through hell lastnight!! She arrived to pick up her dog after they called her saying her pup was ready and she arrived with the owner handing her a wrong dog!!!! He ended up giving another client HER DOG!!! He left my friend crying panicking and worried for 6HOURS!! In the end he ended up getting her back and pretty sure he expected her to pay him! CAN YOU BELIEVE?!! read more

I took my Welsh Springer Spaniel to Manny's today and was pleased to meet Maria, Manny's wife. She washed and groomed ou dog and when I picked her up Maria had done a beautiful job. I was very pleased and our dog was not at all traumatized by the experience. I could've be more happy with Manny's and I highly recommend this groomer. The price was also reasonable. read more

A few years back I met Manny as he was just opening his shop here . I was "Long Haired cat sitting" for a family member going through a serious illness. I was one of his earliest customers . His kindness to his 2 legged customers was , and is, unmatched by his care and detail to his "furry clients" . My cat guests went home to another state with their "mom" and so there were no other visits ,until an exotic love bird flew to the screen of my home on the first diagnosed day of a serious illness of my wife. Not knowing what to do , I called Manny for advice for he knows all things of pets said I. He said .. I have a cage ... come get it until you find the owner or decide to adopt him . I did. Now to today ......... my 19 year old domestic short hair cat seemed to have a stroke that left her unable to walk or stand . I needed an honest trust worthy vet so I once again called Manny. His referral to one of the most kind and honest men was a true blessing in a time of stress and need . Manny is a MAN among men and I am privileged to have met him . I have two, two-year-old Shih Tzu's. I have been taking them to Petsmart for lack of a better place to take them and because I thought they'd be cheaper than a small groomer. Petsmart was a regular disappointment and I was never really happy with their service. On a whim and a Google search, I found Manny's. I called and he had an appointment open a few days later and I decided to give it a shot. What a great decision! First of all, Manny really loves what he does. I warned him that my dogs are super nervous and have grooming anxiety. He promised to take good care of "my babies" as he refers to them. And he did. Manny showed them the patience they needed and provided all the TLC a pet owner can hope for. Each of my dogs cost $45 for the bath and haircut which was the same as what I was being charged at Petsmart but they turned out sooooo much better. Manny did exactly as I had asked and they look great. I highly recommend Manny and have found my new groomer. My only fear is that once the word gets out about what a great job he does, appointments will be harder to come by. Thanks Manny, we'll be back. read more
