I am greeted every time I enter...by a hello, or hello to my dog. The reception people look up and smile and greet you...stopping what they are doing. They are friendly and seem to enjoy the brief conversation while I'm there. They seem genuinely interested in any comment or concern I have with my dog. The caregivers are also happy and polite when they receive my dog...know his name ect... I've been in retail/ customer service for over 40 years. There is not much "customer service" around anymore. We don't know if the counselors have changed but our dog's recent stay was a total disaster. We feel so disappointed and hurt that our dogs were treated so poorly. We would not recommend Camp Bow Wow and would highly suggest that dog owners (who care for their dogs well being) look elsewhere. There are options that are so much better. read more

This is the most unprofessional and dangerous pet facility I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. We've been clients of Camp Bow wow for a few months now. The first red flag was during the first few weeks of daycare, we noticed on camera that the dogs on the small play area were left unattended for approximately 3 minutes. As any dog owner knows, a lot can happen in such short amount of time in a room with 20+ dogs in it. When we casually brought it up to the front desk staff, they denied it happened. We decided to let it go. The last straw was drawn when we inquired about boarding services and the front desk informed us that the dogs are left alone in the facility from 7pm-7am. Finding that to be outrageous we decided to call Dominic, the owner, to see if those policies were true. The phone call with Dominic was upsetting to say the least. The owner made every excuse in the book as to why those policies were in place. Starting off by saying that every employee who would work the night shift would be sleeping anyways. I asked why he would hire someone who's sleeping on the job which he replied with "well I live right next to the facility so if anything's happens, I'm a few minutes away." Dominic, wouldn't you be sleeping in the middle of the night as well? How many minutes have to pass before you can actually assist any emergency that could occur in your facility? He then said if a dog requires medical attention, it should be boarded at a different facility and there would be nothing an employee can do anyways. I thought that was an outrageous statement seeing how his employees are supposedly Pet CPR and First Aid certified and if that is the case, the employees should be able to administer aid until proper medical help can be provided. His final excuse was that having an overnight employee would be violating Naples Code and that no other boarding facility in the Naples area does this. This is egregiously false as I called 5 other facilities in the Lee/Collier county area and they all have someone on staff during the nighttime hours. For the next few days, his comment about his employees not being able to provide basic medical attention to a dog in distress concerned me so I began to question whether they really were CPR and First Aid certified. I decided to send him an email to see if he could provide proof of those certifications and he said he didn't know who I was. He couldn't recognize a clients name nor could he simply look me up in his system. This place is a safety hazard for all dogs in Naples. read more

I am extremely picky about who I get to watch my dog..due to a home improvement project we were recently pushed to find our puppy, Paco, a babysitter. After trying 3 local boarding facilities, we found Camp Bow Wow. From the moment we walked in, the building was clean & the staff was positive & attentive to myself & Paco..& I love that all you have to do to check on your dog, is go to their website & take a look on the camera. Paco was always under the supervision of an employee & even has some canine buddies @ CBW. Paco is always eager to go in, which says a lot because he's a rescue & can be hesitant around certain people or situations. Our family has been traveling to Naples for the last 4 years & our lab has been going to doggie daycare at Camp Bow Wow every year! Dominic & Isel are wonderful to work with!! They are hands on owners. Their staff is just as wonderful as they are!!! We had a scary situation last year when our lab suddenly has a seizure at daycare. They called me and our local vet immediately. I was a mess! Everyone at Camp Bow Wow was calm and very helpful. They made a horrible situation a little less stressful!! There isn't enough space for me to rave about how much we LOVE Camp Bow Wow. This is my "short" version. This place is amazing, the owners are special people, who clearly love what they are doing, are gifted at Customer Service and obviously train every single one of the camp counselors to be the same. One of our big hesitations before getting our dog was that we knew living so far away from our families, there would be times when boarding him would be our only option. The "kennels" from my childhood are grainy, depressing black and white memories of sad dogs in a cage getting little exercise and acting strange when you got them back home. So I researched, and google found me Camp Bow Wow. Hit their website http://www.campbowwow.com/us/fl/naples/ this is for real. I had never heard of "day care" or pups playing all day? What?? So drove by on a Sunday and popped in, the she- counselor working was incredible, she offered to show us all around, introduced us to the other counselors, talked all about the facilities and what they do, and you could hear it in her voice, she loved what she did. We were impressed that the place was spotless. The dogs do their business and within a few seconds out comes the mop & cleaning materials. The dogs there that day bounded over to say hi and then ran off to play with each other all happy. The "cabins" where they snooze are actually huge! With little cots, I mean even at home he doesn't have a cot....yet. Our dog loves going to "camp" beyond reason, he gets to exercise, socialize and play all day. When we pick him up, he is so happy. We have boarded him now on several occasions, and I almost feel like...he'd rather stay there. The dogs are supervised, and fed, and they get digestive/ nap times, and personal attention. You can WATCH them on the play-cams. Now if we make plans I know that us leaving him there is actually a huge TREAT for him. ZERO guilt. We get back a tired, happy dog, and when we're smart and order a bath, a clean one :) You'll see on the site that there are separate climate controlled play areas, as well as large outdoor areas, with POOLS, and little playground equipments, which when I peek in on our dog from home, he's often out on that thing, Who knew? We took him here when he turned 4 months old, and was starting to worry me with his rambunctious behaviour. He passed the Interview ( a process that is for his and the other dogs good), although with a 4 month old puppy we were sweating it... We saw a difference immediately. I never in my life thought I'd be dropping my dog off to daycare to play, or paying $ for it. I thought we'd play ball and walk and he would lay at my feet adoringly and that would be that. WRONG. I really do love Camp Bow Wow In Naples, FL and I know my dog, Johan, does as well as I watch him wagging his tail on the cams all day with his doggie friends. This is the second time I have boarded my dog here. The first time, of course, I hated not being with my dog but I called and the team gave me a full report. And because of that the rest of my trip I was at ease knowing that my dog was being well cared for during my trip. As for the second boarding, of course it's the first full day I'm away from my dog...so I called to check on Johan and once again, I was given complete feedback from "his tail is wagging" & "he ate all his dinner and half is breakfast this morning"...and then i asked a few questions and every one was answered reassuring me that Camp Bow Wow in Naples really is the best. You can tell that they are true "dog people" and they love what they do. You know what else is neat? On their website they have live cameras that you can switch between to see the whole facility. When I went to pick up my dog they said he was over stimulated and couldn't be around the other dogs. Clearly he wasn't even given a chance because he has about 10 min of energy before he has to lay down. He has also never had any problem at other boarding places, or any other animals (I basically own a zoo). He is submissive to my cats and very gentle with my toddler and rabbits. I'm assuming they just couldn't be bothered to deal with such a big dog. What bothers me most is that I wasn't even contacted and he sat in a kennel alone for 10 days. He is at home now hiding in the closet, which is completely out of character. My heart is broken for him. read more

Camp Bow Wow has quite actually been a saving grace to my family. My husband found out the hard way that he has genetic heart disease by having a massive heart attack and subsequently an open heart quadruple bypass. Having a 5-month-old Boxer puppy, I immediately knew I needed help - unable to provide the needed care for our rambunctious puppy and my husband simultaneously. To say Camp Bow Wow was, and continues to be, compassionate is an understatement. Chubbs, our puppy, has been given the most outstanding care at a time when we could not provide it ourselves. I do not only recommend Camp Bow Wow, I wholeheartedly endorse, promote, and encourage anyone going through something difficult, or just someone whose dog needs more exercise than they can currently provide, to employ and trust the services of Camp Bow Wow. Their staff is nothing short of remarkable. I would coordinate dropping Chubbs off with my afternoons spent at the hospital. The staff treated him as if he was their own - greeting him the door and taking a vested interest in his play and wellbeing. I trust Camp Bow Wow with our puppy beyond measure. He would return home gleefully tuckered out having received love, attention, and the play time he requires. The webcams enabled both my husband and me to watch him from afar, bringing us both delight and relief. I can assuredly say that Camp Bow Wow has been a life saver during this unforeseeable time. Their prices are remarkably affordable and comparable to those of lesser facilities. It is with genuine gratitude and first-hand knowledge of their superb care and conscientiousness that I am able to say they are in a league of their own when it comes to dog care. In Naples for a month, our Winnie always excited to play with the other dogs here. Gets great exercise and comes home ready for rest. Staff is always pleasant and courteous. Cameras give extra comfort to see what your dog is up to. Also love the freedom of long time window for drop off and pick up, really aids convenience. I've tried Camp Bow Wow in Naples twice. On the good side: the staff is friendly and my dog came back alive. Both times we used them the dog beds were covered in urine or feces. They knew when we were coming back and hadn't taken care of it. The gave me a huge bed ( 4 ft) and said it was covered in Pee and I needed to wash it. really? After using CBW for as long as I've been in Naples, I've started to look elsewhere. The last several times I have dropped off my dog the customer service appears lackluster to say the least. Sometimes I even question if I am in the right building. 2 weeks after hurricane Irma we had to leave town and were frantically trying to find a place. I kept calling CBW because the owner forwarded the calls to her phone. I knew they received some damage and it would be closed for a few days but I needed to know if they would possibly be open 10 days later. I called and left message after message just asking for a call back. After nothing, I booked with Pet Paradise on Pine Ridge RD only to find out later that I could've used CBW. Not once, even after they opened and could've booked me did she return any of my calls! I left 3 voicemails just simply asking for a call back about some dates that were 10 days out. After using Pet Paradise I found them to be a little better. The staff was actually friendly and gave me and my dog the time of day. They didn't just grab his leash and take him back like CBW does. They actually spent a little time with us and left me feeling good about leaving him in a boarding facility for once. I may give CBW a chance again but after the last several times I've been there it appears they have turned into what most businesses in Naples have turned to - cold and distant with no ambition. read more

I've been to this location a few times. Their prices are fair and better than other daycares in the area, however the rooms are pretty small (including the outdoor connecting part) for the amount of dogs they stuff in there. I would watch my dog on the camera app and the dogs are either sitting or pacing. Mine would be consistently sitting by the exit door looking restless and anxious. There's so many dogs there's not even space to run around. Just b/c it's 'winter/busy season' doesn't mean you keep accepting an unlimited amount of dogs. My dog has been to many daycares and has never been so anxious and energetic when i bring him home. Also, he clearly wasn't getting any water (even though I specifically asked them to take him out at least once during his day) for water break. He would literally gulp a giant bowl after coming home. The last (and final) day I picked him up, I noticed he had fleas. Even though he is on monthly medication, I don't know how strictly they check to see if all other dogs in attendance are being given medications and are bug free prior to attending daycare. This was disappointing, and I'm now stuck paying hundreds of dollars on various medications and home cleaning products to prevent it from worsening. Like I said, the prices are better and staff was friendly hence 1star. However, we've been to many daycares around the country as well as other camp bow wows and never had these issues. I recommend checking out other places to see if they have space/capacity rules, strict medication regimen checkups and other things that may be important to you. It's worth spending the extra money. read more

We have 2 English Bulldogs and they love Camp Bow Wow. From the time you walk in the door, you know your pet will be well taken care of. The counselors love the animals, it shows in the level of attention the animals receive. Our 8 yr old bulldog was one of their first campers, she has been going there for about 6 years. It is nice to not have to worry if she is getting enough attention or activity. For every day our dogs spend there, seems like they need 2 days of sleep at home to recover from all the fun they had. read more
