Our dog went to another day camp We thought was good for a energetic pup They tried their best but finally asked us to get anxiety meds from vet We ask asked vet they said no they recommended Ruffgers So we had a 11/2 hour trial They figured what our dog needed by introducing different dogs and after 1 st time it was a success They had our pup 6 days straight overnight They had no issues in fact didn't want to come home I definitely recommend ruffgers for high energy pups read more

I boarded my 13 year-old 5 lb Maltese at Ruffgers in February 2021. This was and is the only time I will ever board my dog. I'm giving Ruffgers 2 stars because their staff is very friendly. However, my dog came home very sick with kennel cough and we spent hundreds of dollars in vet bills. As a nurse practitioner, there is no mistaking kennel cough. Ruffger's staff KNOW there is kennel cough in their building. And yet they did not inform their clients that they are experiencing kennel cough. A denial would be a lie and very unprofessional. I hope they have addressed the issue as in closing the building and deep clean/disinfect. read more

My dog is now 6 yrs old and she began taking classes & going to day care @ Ruffgers when she was just 10 weeks old. She took the Puppy Manners, Obedience, Canine Good Citizens training and we have been in agility for 4 years now. I believe the socialization, behavioral, physical and mental stimulation has been the reason Belle is a sound, confident, well behaved happy dog because of the time spent at Ruffgers. Best part is the bond developed between myself and Belle due to the time spent training & "playing" together. Priceless! Good value for dollars spent. Thank you, Ruffgers! read more

Let's begin with ..Brianna is terrific ..she's knowledgeable, professional , friendly, patient and terrific with both the the dogs and owners ... when I saw the agility course for the first time and my dog didn't have one lesson prior to that day I was doubtful ....in the first class my dog, Kevin, just 18 months old was jumping hurdles , running thru tunnels and up the ramps and down .. you'll love this class it's so much fun and your dog will love coming...my many thanks to Brianna and the rest of the staff ...Kevin will be back when we return next season ...Brianna, Kevin sends his love ...Dianne read more

If there was less than 1 star I would give them that. The owners, along with the front desk girls, are the rudest people I've ever spoken too. We have spent 10s of the thousands of dollars there only to be treated so rudely. their computer system is never accurate and they can't keep any workers on a regular basis. I would highly recommend literally any other boarding facility for your pets. read more

Easy to book and clean appearance. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Used the day care service and would return. Definitely recommend.

I've been going to Rutgers for quite a while I also go to several other Dog Daycare places like Bow Wow in Naples my dog is very aggressive he was abused for the first year of his life he is a shepherd pitbull but the most loving dog you could ever meet. the other places finally came out after like 1 or 2 years that he needs to be drugged up because he's too aggressive or some other story. Rutgers today on July 22nd I had the best conversation about my dog ever, she told me they want to train him, they want to make, him better they want to get over his abuse childhood ,No other place has ever said that about my dog and actually made me cry when I got to my truck after I picked him up[ kudos to you] read more

I brought my dog here for the 8 night board and train. I spent over $800 and got literally nothing. He doesn't even sit. He doesn't stay. He is worse now than he was before the training. Not only that but he's had bloody poop since we've brought him home from here so now going to the vet. read more

Ruffgers Dog University is the BEST. That is the most succinct explanation of my experience with Ruffgers and their team. More detail below for the readers... STAFF -- The people that work there are all great, love dogs, and are capable to care for and train your pup. They will know you and your pup's name before you leave. TRAINING -- The training classes are well worth the cost as they make a point to teach you and your pup the best methods in puppy training, obedience, agility, and other aspects of canine good citizenship. BOARDING AND DAY CARE -- This is a big one for me. My dogs have always been family, and so much so that I had always been extra cautious of boarding and day care facilities. Ruffgers has completely changed my mind and my pup is now a frequent resident. As an example of their quality, I recently went out of town for a week and had major travel issues keeping me away from home an extra two days. Not a problem for Ruffgers. More than that, while away my sweet little girl went into heat for the first time. This scared me as the first time I am going through this as a dog dad but this did not scare Ruffgers and staff -- they were amazing to take good care of her for the entire time I was away. AND I know she is taken good care of because I get to watch her running around on Ruffger's Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat stories. :) OTHER -- High quality foods, treats, toys, and supplies offered in-shop with advice on what would work for your pup. Thank you Ruffgers! read more

Ruffgers STAR puppy training and Manners classes have greatly helped both my golden retriever puppy and me. Aschley and Gigi are very knowledgeable and patient with both dogs and owners. The classes are fast paced, informative and fun. They have made a world of difference in my golden retriever puppy. The facilities and service are first rate. Your dog will be a member of your family for years to come, it is well worth it to invest a little time and money to be sure both owner and dog start off on the right foot/paw. I would very highly recommend Ruffgers for training, boarding or day care. If I could give 10 stars, I would! read more

Aschley, Gigi and all the staff at Ruffgers are amazing! Pegi Sue does NOT like her routine disrupted, therefore she HATES boarding! We found Ruffgers online, visited, were majorly impressed and Miss P had a 4 night stay this week! When we dropped her off she was fine and when we picked her up she was not stressed (glad to go home as usual) and a happy camper! We felt so comfortable and confident leaving her at Ruffgers! Everyone seemed so sincere about her well being, they are organized, professional and seem genuinely loving! She will go back! read more

Really loved the concept of dogs interacting all day , unfortunately the supervision is lacking . My 10yo Goldendoodle rolled in something sticky and it developed into a "hotSpot" ... needing antibiotics and steroids to treat . The disturbing thing is the manager tried to say my dog came in with this lesion .... just some kids they hire that aren't paying attention, but I'll never go back .... pity , their concept is great ... just need to hire better help. read more

Aschley, Gigi and the entire Ruffgers staff are amazing! They treat your pup as if it were their own - with lots of love and care! They are so experienced and knowledgeable with their training, we have seen such a difference with Winston ever since we started. We couldn't be happier. read more

My pups can't wait to get to get here. They start getting excited at every turn in the road. The staff is exceptional and extremely friendly. read more

My family LOVES Ruffgers - and most importantly our dog Rosie is obsessed with going there. She's a golden retriever puppy and has had nothing but the best experience every time we bring her. She has done the training school as well as regular day care - everyone at the center is lovely - super friendly and welcoming. And most importantly they really and truly love and enjoy the dogs. read more

Aschley, the owner, and her team are the best. I have so much fun in agility with my dogs that I do it 3 days a week! I learn as much as my dogs and the bonus is getting to meet all of the other clients and their dogs - exceptionally nice bunch of people! I use the daycare and boarding facility as well along with the retail shop. Both are brand new, modern and extremely well cared for. 24 hour staff is a comfort. It is truly a one stop place for your dogs and their "home away from home." read more

Best Doggie daycare I have ever taken my dog to! It's very clean, structured, and they have agility and all types of training, so you dog is kept busy and learning. I never hear barking when I go there, unlike the other place I would take my dog. More doggie daycare's should model their facilities like this one. read more

We boarded our 8 year old dog Doc for the first time at Ruffgers. Staff was very friendly and we loved it!

This is a favorite place for my shih Tzu. She has developed into a snappy agility pup by the sleek training of Aschley owner of Ruffgers Dog University. Also the facility now houses overnight boarding with personal touches for all the pups and personnel that watches over the pups while they are dreaming. Morning romps in the play yard as well with indoor fun and games and bits of training. Well kept facility by all dedicated animal lovers. My pup loves Ruffgers read more

I have two dogs and both of them take classes here! Super awesome facility! Trainers are awesome! Everyone is extremely friendly, it doesn't matter what your experience level is or the age of your dog you will find a class that fits. The boarding part is great, and they work and play with you doggie while you are away! I highly recommend this place whether you are looking to do agility, rally, obedience, socialization, or even just to board! Highly knowledgeable! read more

We were blessed to have had an excellent doggy day care facility (Camp Bow Wow) back in Connecticut. We wanted to replicate that experience here in Naples and considered and examined three facilities before selecting Ruffgers Dog University in Bonita. We made our selection based cleanliness, design and quality of the facility and our initial interaction with the staff. There was an intangible that can best be described as an overall "feel" for our selection and Ruffgers simply felt right. Bogie, our 153 pound Rotty seemed to love his time there. He received a bath and had his nails done and he has never looked so good. We are confident we made the right choice. read more

Aschley has been the best thing that every happened to our dogs. The Ruffgers team is just THAT good.

Excellent facility. Incredibly clean too. We have our puppy trained there and board her when not home. They also train through agility so we will be there a long time. Fantastic place read more

After our Boston Terrier was 'let go' from another dog daycare facility, we turned to Ruffgers. Not only do they have a large, clean facility but they are able to split the dogs into smaller groups to reduce the anxiety that our dog had when in a pen with a large group of dogs. They understood his issue immediately. They also offer training during his daycare visits and boarding which has helped him tremendously. We highly recommend! read more

Ruffgers is one of the nicest boarding and training facilities in the area. It is the first boarding facility that I have left my dog at since moving to Naples years ago. The staff does a great job of keeping the kennel clean. The dogs get to play inside and outside and have the opportunity to have training sessions with some knowledgable trainers. My dog heads for the kennel after agility classes. I think he wishes he could stay.i would highly recommend you visit the facility. read more
