I took a quick browse through here. This is a really competitive industry (pet supplies), so I was curious what would set this store apart from others. They do have a lot of neat products for ALL of your household pets. Employees were friendly and I was greeted on at least two occasions. You do need to know your prices here as some items were quite expensive and others were reasonable, such as the Nutro dog food I have purchased in the past at other stores. Small dog t-shirts were quite high at $19.98, but the dog harnesses were not too bad. Other things I noticed here: -A dog washing station -Dog tag engraving -fish for sale -Bins of guinea pig treats If you need a speciality product for your pet, this is a good place to check out. read more

Brutal customer service and careless attitude from the manager of Pet Supplies Plus, Kings Lake, Naples, Florida! This guy should not work with the public! If we could give less than 1 star we would! The story; Our dog is particularly sensitive to his food's freshness and ingredients. On December 14th, 2018 we went into Pet Supplies Plus to buy his premium Acana Dog Food. The 2 bags of Acana they had in stock were almost a year old so we asked the clerk if it would be possible to order a new bag for us. She agreed and told us the new stock would be delivered on to the store on Saturday, December 22nd. We called during the week and asked an employee if our food had been ordered. The clerk we spoke with did not know so we left our telephone number for confirmation. No reply came so we called again and were told our Acana dog food was in fact ordered. When we went to the store on Saturday December 22nd to pick up our dog's food we were told to speak with the manager who said the food had not been ordered. This employee was dismissive and condescending! We were under the impression that pet stores in general care for and "go the extra mile" to accommodate pet's and their owner's needs. This is NOT the case at Pet Supplies Plus at Kings Lake in Naples, Florida. There are too many excellent alternative pet stores to buy pet food and products. We brought our Gracie for a do-it-yourself dog wash. The young woman at the front desk was very nice and she was helpful. She explained the options so we could choose what we wanted. The store had only 2 or 3 customers, but the inventory was great, many choices. read more

I stopped in since I shop at the nearby Publix and they had sent me a coupon. So, I thought I would check the store out. I buy Blue Buffalo and it was $4 more a bag than where I usually shop. With my coupon it was $2 less so, went ahead and purchased it. There were two different sections of the Blue Buffalo across the aisle from one another so, layout a bit disorganized. I would not have even written a review however over just the food it was the checkout that I took issue with. The checkout ladies were pleasant but...she was signing me up for the rewards program and it was taking forever....during this process I realized she had a snake on the keyboard and was fidgeting with it. If my dog had been with me this would not have been a good experience for her and I was quite taken aback as was my son. I am also a germaphobe so standing there and seeing her touch my purchases, the bag, etc. was feeling quite grossed out. This is one of the nicer pet supply stores that I have been to. The dog wash is very nice and you can buy a card to buy discounted washes as low as five dollars a piece. Their prices are very reasonable, the store is well lit, and very clean. read more

6/17/21 went to this location as I always do and bought 4 cans of blue dog food that was listed at $2.78a can. When I got home I noticed on my receipt I was charged $2.98 a can. Went back the next day to point out the over charge and spoke to the manager ( skinny blond) didn't get her name. She told me they were in the middle of changing there prices and that all the labels hadn't been put up yet and that what I got charged was actually the new price. I did look the day after my purchase to make sure I wasn't making a mistake and it was still the 2.78 price and it was. I suggest they really should change the price at the shelf before the right price was listed at the register so ppl know what there gonna be charged. She stated there's only one person to do that job and there was absolutely nothing she could do to make it right. So I asked should I just return everything? She said if that's what I wanted to do. I left the store with the intentions that's exactly what I was gonna do then. Went to pet smart got the same food for $2.58. next day I returned it all and they had to call a manager to do this. Different manager this time and told him exactly why I was returning. He offered to make up the difference but told him it was too late that he had lost a customer over the fact they couldn't honor the posted price that they had been selling it at. I asked him if he went in a restaurant and ordered a steak off a menu for $25 and got the bill and they charged you $35 what would you do? read more

I've had some very bad experiences at this pet store. To start with, since I've seen a lot of people using the dog wash, I want to mention the mats have mold. Please do not use the dog wash; Ive mentioned it to the staff and nothing was done. The bald man has given my grandmother and I attitude on various occasions and has done a fair amount of eye rolling and rather rude sighing when asked for assistance. The older blonde acted the same way, but I haven't seen her in a while. They would also leave the store and smoke whenever it seemed they wanted to. I've been suggested items that are bad for my pets, which shows the workers are very misinformed and not trained. I came in asking for a cage for my dwarf hamster and was lead over to the wire cages with nowhere near enough room. It seems like they only care about their sales for their dog food too; when asking for a food I was brought straight there, despite mentioning my pomeranian's allergies. The old brunette had also given me attitude and instead of bringing you to where an item is she just points. The young blonde and the young brunette and the black girl are all very friendly. The fish tanks have constant algae and the rodents frequently have green stuff building up in the water bottles. Whatever cats that are there are poorly taken care of as well. I'll be going to pet supermarket from now on after all of these instances; I hope this store gets their shit straight and hires knowledgeable, friendly employees. read more

I have been a good customer at this store, along with many of my friends and family who live in the area. The store has acquired a maroon bellied conure who is in the back of the store in an isolated cage with only 1 foot to go back and forth on three small perches. The cage is three sided and the bird cannot see a thing except straight in front of it. No one goes back there. These are highly sociable birds that need human interaction. No toys in cage so I bought three for them to put in. They did put them in the cage for me. There is no where for the bird to relieve his feet from perching, as all birds need to get off their feet, no snuggy or fuzzy, as they call them. I spoke to the manager, Josh, about this a week ago and he said he would ask corporate. I even offered to buy the bird this item and was told it needed to be approved by corporate. To say the least, it was never done and the bird is still sitting there on that perch, isolated and alone. There isn't even a sign on the cage for people that may be interested in purchasing it. I will never go back in there again and, if I can help it, noone I know will either. Please, maybe someone can help with this issue. I am told the bird isn't friendly but I can see why. No human interaction. read more
