Being on a breeder's "waiting list" for a much in demand unborn pup didn't feel right and the horror stories about pet store conditions made us wary. I was able to choose several pups to meet with from their web site, schedule an appointment, and see them, hold them, watch them play with the others. And the puppies seemed happy! Beautiful little babies. I've Refered many happy customers to this breeder and have a beautiful baby myself from them. Rescues these days are as expensive or more expensive then getting a baby and they wonder why people shop. I was told my rescue couldn't live one county outside of collier. Had to be in collier. We bought Miles a 12 week old Yorkie for $2200 2 weeks ago. We had 3 previous Yorkie's and the last one we had suffered from luxating patella's . So before we purchased Miles my ONLY question was does Miles have luxating Patella's. Both guy's responded NO and Miles has been seen by 2 vets. Well 2 weeks later Miles had his 1st vet appointment with our vet. The vet advises he has luxating Patella's and both knee caps slide out of place. So I CALLED Florida Pets Online and of course they said of course he had stage 1. Funny they were so NOT so forthcoming when asked that before the purchase as I would have left immediately . I bought my F2 Golden Doodle from FL Puppies Online 5 1/2 years ago. Pepper is the smartest dog I have ever had. She can open doors, especially the front ones. Can even unlock deadbolts, but never runs away. Her temperament is perfect gentle with babies and little kids, plays ruff with boys and snuggles with the girls. Lives to swim and sunbathe. I have had a lot of dogs, but this one is different and So special. She could be a service dog. EVERYONE asks where we got her from. I thought FL puppies online were great to work with, very professional. The only thing I can that I'm not crazy about is the part of their name "Online", it cheapens the brand. We love our goldendoodle that we got from here! Some things were a little skeptical to us though-they told us she is a standard goldendoodle, but the website has her as a mini. They claim they do not have photos of the parents because it would be too difficult to keep track. In a world of modern technology, it seems odd to make this claim. When we went to the Naples location, we were very impressed with Teddy who was very patient and helped us pick out the right puppy for our household. Logan walked into our home like he had lived here his whole life. Because they had started him on the artificial turf, Logan started training outside within a half hour of being home. He is the smartest dog we have ever had ( this is our third dog- we had a Bichon who passed away and have a 10 year old Bichon now). When I took Logan to our vet for his first check-up, she called him "Fantastic". She said he is both very healthy and has a great temperament. Do not buy from Little Puppies Online, they get their puppies from a puppy mill! Unfortunately I was not informed and really thought they were a legit breeder. I was inexperienced and this was the first dog I ever bought, now that I did my research I would never buy from any pet store ever again. When we got to Florida Puppies Online in Naples our precious little puppy whose name was Vinnie at the time was waiting for us. The vibe was a little awkward from the employees when we asked to use their restroom and they went in the back to get things ready. We drove an hour and a half to go to this place so all of us needed to use it by the time we went there. We thought it was weird how they went in the back and then came back out to let us use it. I couldn't really see the Puppies and they had them hidden except one who was waiting for someone to see them in a cage. After I came back out of the restroom we asked questions about the parents of our puppy and the owner really couldn't answer or seem to know much about them. At the time I didn't realize that was a red flag but I did my research and saw that all breeders should have parents on sight and you should be able to see them. I was unaware of this. We ended up getting the puppy and he made us sign an agreement on how we cannot have any refund unless there is a serious genetic disease. I also found this was not something a reputable breeder will do, but I did not know this at the time. Also we were informed that our puppy at 12 weeks had tons of vaccines and shots, he had a rabies shot the same day we got him. We of course thought this was a good thing until we went to Vets and talked to people about him being vaccinated and they all looked at us in shock. Florida Law states that Puppies should not be vaccinated until 16 weeks and that's because they didn't develop their full antibodies yet so it doesn't even work. Usually they do this if they are from another state for travel purposes (merchant info is Little Puppies Online in Mount Vernon, Ohio) , or if they are from a puppy mill. When we took our puppy home and he barely knew how to run in the grass, which we thought was a little strange but cute. Now we realize he was probably kept in horrible conditions to not even know what grass is. Fast forward to that night and he would cough the whole night. As if he was hacking or choking on something. This would keep happening at night so we took him to a Vet. They told us that he had kennel cough and gave him antibiotics, they say dogs usually get this in close contact with other dogs. We contacted the owner because he promised a happy and healthy dog in his contract and in the first week we had health issues. I will give him that he paid for his expenses, however when we told him our concerns about our puppy having future health problems and he asked us what we would like to do. We told him we would think about it and see if he would continue to keep coughing, which he did. In the refund invoice for his antibiotics that the owner paid for, I saw merchant info that stood out to me. It said Little Puppies Online in Mount Vernon, Ohio. It took me aback how it was a different location than Naples, Florida. I typed in the merchant info and found that they are indeed a puppy mill and are listed in the Horrible Hundred Puppy Mills, and had dogs in cramped, undersized cages. They also had purchased from unliscened breeders so who knows what my puppy is even mixed with and what conditions the parents are in that will be passed on to my poor puppy. My heart broke when I read this because I don't know how any person can keep dogs in these conditions willingly and sleep at night. I've tried to contact the owner and I told him what we found about them and he has done nothing but ignore my family. Since they won't respond to us, I will make it known the true colors of the kind of people they truly are. read more

I recently purchased a Golden Doodle puppy from these folks. I have had 2 health issues with the dog that is just 4 months old. The first was a rapidly growing Absess that had to be taken out...the second far more serious. We noticed he was bumping into things more than a puppy should. HE HAS CATERACTS .... which THEIR VET should have picked up " claiming " to give them a healthy release. We have had him since Nov. and we are more than happy with Duffy. He does have an overbite but that does not subtract from his personality. We bought 2 puppies from this outfit. Initially, I was only there to buy a Yorkie puppy that was 5 months old. My heart strings tugged when I saw her because I thought she is going to be euthanized if they don't sell her. When we went to get her they asked me what other dogs I like. Well,out comes this cavapoo. My husband now has his heart strings pulled and don't you know it we take both home. Well, when we went to take them out the door they were shy. I was concerned with pulling them out and was trying coaxing. So, the lady says "well they have never been outside", What! So, now I am thinking let me just get these puppies and get the hell out of there. When I got home I corralled the puppies using a pen and attached it to the crate. The puppies peed and pooped anywhere even in the crate. They were so confused about doing their business outside. I was on top of taking them outside but, they didn't understand at all. The Yorkie is doing better, but the cavapoo can walk for 30 to 40 mins and won't go outside. Bring him back in the house and there he goes. My belief is that never being outside and being crated for 12 hours and having that catch basin beneath confused the natural instinct of the dog. They are both comfortable just peeing in the house or in the crate. This is my warning about puppy mill dogs. read more
