My girlfriend did not want to adopt him because he was very sad and depressed but I knew when we got him home he would change and he did. They are very dishonest and they do not tell you that you have to sign up for pet insurance Kanguroo is the company and charge you $65 a month with a huge deductible. My boyfriend and I went in and took home an adorable teddy bear puppy on 2/3 and we took her to the vet on 2/6 and found out she had pneumonia, and two different types of parasites/worms. It has cost us thousands of dollars in vet treatments and when I've called to inquire about this all they say is to talk to Insurance because they are not responsible. They say in other reviews that they will take care of it via their warranty but all that means is they basically exchange your puppy. Nobody wants to do that after getting to know and love the puppy that they bought. I purchased a Teddy Bear mix from your Petland of Naples, FL. I paid thousands of $ for her. The very next day after bringing her home, she began vomiting continuously. After consulting with TeleVet, I rushed her to a local veterinarian. The veterinarian ran tests and told me Mazie was dangerously weak, and needed to be transferred immediately to the animal hospital. She was hospitalized overnight. and it cost almost $3K. I had bought insurance but still between the Vet bills and the puppy cost me over 4K - for a puppy who was clearly not healthy. This was not only financially distressing but so stressful to deal with for a 4 pound puppy. When I called the Petland store, I was treated rudely and the operator would not allow me to speak to the store. After much back and forth, was directed to a website that turned out to be non-existent. I then submitted my complaint through the company's website and after almost a month received a response that her illness was not covered and I would not be refunded. Purchased a sick puppy from the Naples Petland with 2 illnesses: giardia which is a disease which can be passed to humans and a contagious flu which got my 10 year old dog sick after the first 5 days. We noticed our puppy sneezing the first night which turned into coughing fits which lasted 2 weeks. Fortunately Petland paid for his flu treatment but they wouldn't pay for our older dog even though we bought a contagious sick puppy Snot came out of his nose and every morning he'd have snot covering his whole nose and upper mouth. Yesterday he was diagnosed with giardia. From the very first time he pooped the night we got him his poop has been liquid and now I'm terrified that my older dog, my family and I might catch this human transmittable disease. The very first moment we saw our little puppy through the glass, he poop pure liquid which a technician wiped up right away and I'm wondering why Petland wouldn't test a puppy with liquid poop for parasites before selling them for $7000 to a customer. I have 3 girls between 5 and 9 so we stopped by Petland to check out the animals. They had a bunch of adorable puppies. Although we aren't able to adopt at the moment, they let us play with multiple puppies to get in some play time. They told us to stop back anytime to play with puppies. I was researching where to buy a doodle and went to Petland. I found a bernedoodle and couldn't have asked for a better dog. She is very funny and nice and enjoys swimming. Her fur is soft like cashmere. She is very healthy and eager to learn and try new things. I went in the other day and saw the puppies in the kennels and there were multiple in one kennel. The girl came up to me and started explaining all the puppies and she acted like she knew what she was talking about but one thing she didn't want to tell me is how much. She kept pushing me into going into one of the areas with a puppies me then she can explain the process.
