Shopping for the gang is easy at Petsmart, they have a good variety of pet food and supplies. If you sign up, you can also get discounts. Petsmart offers a variety of quality pet foods, at prices the grocery store can't match. In addition, I can always find something that my two fussy yorkies will enjoy. Finding a 40 pound bag of dog food can be a challenge, but my two large dogs can demolish a bag of food in a hurry. Petsmart still offers quality, large size bags. In a store like Petsmart, shopping monthly is a convenient and easy way to stock up. The store has decent parking and good access from the main road. If there are more than a few people, they have all the registers going. Finding a clerk can sometimes be difficult, but it depends on when you shop. I have not used the grooming service that is available at this store, so I can't speak for that. The store itself is a good place to stock up on items for your pets. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE. The store manager DOES NOT CARE about your dogs well being or safety. She also does not care about the employee's safety either. She has expected her employees to work in dangerous conditions, jeopardizing their lives as well as the dogs lives in the salon. There is no fully functional air conditioning or ventilation, OSHA, health department, peta, news and state representatives have been contacted several times by staff and clients but she can care less. All she cares about is "who's trying to get her and make her look bad." Great kind of person to have in charge of a building, in control of MANY lives. There are MANY surrounding places to bring your pets that are much safer and have you and your pets best interest as priority. Over ten employees have left since she took over the store and she's still there!!!! There are many PetSmarts that care about the best interest in EVERYONE but in Southwest Florida, that does NOT exist. Because the store manager nastily brushed the employees and pet parents off, evidence was brought to the attention of the district manager, regional manager, hr, associate relations, CEO, every associate support possible but ignored. Mental/ emotional abuse and retaliation by the store manager was enabled and allowed by the district manager. Included are pictures of the conditions. Windows are white because of how hot/humid it was, floors are soaked with condensation, ceilings leaking, staff and pups suffering from many health issues as a result of the terrible conditions. read more

I had an appointment this morning and supposedly was 10 minutes late. This new young man told me that since I was late he could not cut my dogs hair but do a trim. I showed him the text message that my appointment was 7:30 and he insisted it was 7AM. This person needs a lesson in customer service and an education on how to converse with customers. I have been going to this location for many years. The previous young lady was very good and I often had to leave the dog there since they were running a little behind. I think management should give their people a little customer service class on how to deal with people instead of barking at them and taking an attitude of I don't need your business. They have now lost several hundred dollars a month on grooming, and dog & cat supplies which we purchase each month. Does not say much for the education our youth is getting these days. read more

NEVER take your dog to this petsmart for grooming..I made a reservation for a specific groomer 5 weeks in advance ...told she was a small dog specialists. When I arrived I was welcomed a a staff of unwelcoming people then I was told would have another groomer who would groom my dog .when I questioned this they said the groomer I asked for Amanda was on break..ok I m good with that ...when Amanda arrives she comes at me with high attitude ..speaking down to me like I was putting her out....I've had my dogs groomed at Petsmart in my home town for 20 years ..and never had been so disrespected by an employee like her ... the Mangers reply..we're busy!!..as if that's the ok for disrespect and attitude....leave your dog alone with people like this ..right....imagine the treatment when I would not be there? read more

BUYER BEWARE! Stuff that is marked as " on sale " is rung up at full price. The manager, Dawn is unconcerned with customer service. I was overcharged for several items that were clearly marked " on sale " and Dawn was unconcerned with the problem. I drove back to the store to rectify the overcharge and was disappointed in Dawn's response not just for myself but all other customers. I was Trying to shop locally and that's the experience I had. Took my dog in for a grooming appointment as the grooming salon dose have strict social distancing and mask wearing precautions. Banfield also has strict mask rules and distancing rules. The rest of the store NO MASKS! All they have are the social distancing stickers on the floor. Do you really need the governor to TELL you to wear a mask? No you could be self responsible and wear them. Florida just hit a record high of positive cases. Very disappointed in your customer care. read more

PetSmart Grooming asked me if my MALE dog was pregnant or nursing? I thought perhaps I misunderstood her so I said "you know he's a boy, right?" Without hesitation she answered "yes, we have to ask." His bath that normally lasts a month only lasted less than a week. He felt tacky like they didn't rinse the soap off of him well or maybe they sprayed something on him. My biggest complaint was they didn't trim his nails. They also didn't do the nail trim the time before that although they charged me for it. When I called back to tell them about his nails she tried to tell me they did trim them. They have also raised their prices so a bath and "no" nail trim with tip was over $100. No haircut. I will not return for grooming and will likely look elsewhere for pet supplies in the future. I have had it with terrible, over-priced service in this area. You should take pride in your work especially at those ridiculous prices. read more

Took my dog, who has a sweet disposition for a simple nail trim. I got him registered, they took him back and I walked to the bone aisle to look around. I had time to pick up a dear antler and read the label before I was paged back. Maybe it was a 1 - 1.5 minutes after the drop off. The woman said that my dog spun around so she couldn't trim his nails. Then she pointed to other waiting customers and said "ask them, he spun around.". Her only job is to cuddle and calm my dog for a quick nails trim and she gave up in under a minute. My dog had been there one other time for a nail trim and had no issues. My dog has had his nails trimmed at the Vet several times. I wasted an hour of my time driving there and back to find out that the groomer simply didn't want to do the job she was being paid to do. I didn't get her name, but she had blonde hair, pulled back and shaved on the side. Avoid her. read more

I've taken both my Ragdoll cat and my Goldendoodle to get bathed and brushed, I was pleased on both occasions. All the staff was friendly, enthusiastic and you could tell they were true pet lovers! My dog was nervous when I dropped her off, but they were able to calm her down so I didn't have to feel bad leaving her. I do recommend!! read more

Ok, Clean store, friendly staff. Great, free intro dog training session. Looking forward to returning for a basic training course. But whoever the manager is needs to get their head out of their rear about the checkout staffing and process. I tried to checkout out the first time.... line of 4 people and 2 dogs and one cashier. Line did not move for 10 minutes so I gave up and attended the training session. 2nd attempt (30 min later) same line, same cashier and a heavy lady in line with a Cujo like dog terrorizing every dog that came in the door. The only cashier open was, of course, directly in front of the entrance. Gave up. Cujo and its overmatched mistress was still in control of the entire front of the store tying up the one checkout lane open when I left. Come on management!! Do something! Anything! read more

Love this PetSmart, and thank gosh because it's right next to my house. It's always clean, and they always have employees available to help. On this past Black Friday, Petco was having some different deals, and I was surprised to see that PetSmart did not have the same ones. A manager (I believe) walked by and asked if I needed help with anything and I asked if they price matched. She said unfortunately they do not. I was a bit bummed, but I continued shopping for what I needed. She came back a few moments later and told me she would price match! Service here is just always so great, but that one encounter just really amazed me and I needed to share it. read more

They were 5 stars in accommodating last minute requests but 0 I think when it comes to efficiency. I can still smell the original smell of my dog and the nails were not clipped or filed. I paid $57 for nothing! I used to have a GF that groomed dogs, I helped her bathe dogs on weekends. Shampoo plus aromatic spray usually does the trick, but unfortunately... my dog still smelt the same! Petsmart should probably manage their worker well or pay them better. read more

If retailers are struggling with the pandemic, why don't they at least help the few that are in the store struggling. Yes, they saw me. One helped me for a few minutes then walked away. Good luck if you have your dog groomed at this location...i've had a standing appt for 7 weeks at 7 am. I get 2 calls and a text to confirm the appt but then get a call at 6:30 am the morning of the appt to cancel....oh and they don't have any appts available for another two weeks...wow thanks a lot petsmart! We've been customers since last July but I guess that loyalty doesn't matter anymore. Extremely disappointed. read more
