Shopping at Petsmart.

Shopping for the gang is easy at Petsmart, they have a good variety of pet food and supplies. If you sign up, you can also get discounts. Petsmart offers a variety of quality pet foods, at prices the grocery store can't match. In addition, I can always find something that my two fussy yorkies will enjoy. Finding a 40 pound bag of dog food can be a challenge, but my two large dogs can demolish a bag of food in a hurry. Petsmart still offers quality, large size bags. In a store like Petsmart, shopping monthly is a convenient and easy way to stock up. The store has decent parking and good access from the main road. If there are more than a few people, they have all the registers going. Finding a clerk can sometimes be difficult, but it depends on when you shop. I have not used the grooming service that is available at this store, so I can't speak for that. The store itself is a good place to stock up on items for your pets.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE. The store manager DOES NOT CARE about your dogs well being or safety. She also does not care about the employee's safety either. She has expected her employees to work in dangerous conditions, jeopardizing their lives as well as the dogs lives in the salon. There is no fully functional air conditioning or ventilation, OSHA, health department, peta, news and state representatives have been contacted several times by staff and clients but she can care less. All she cares about is "who's trying to get her and make her look bad." Great kind of person to have in charge of a building, in control of MANY lives. There are MANY surrounding places to bring your pets that are much safer and have you and your pets best interest as priority. Over ten employees have left since she took over the store and she's still there!!!! There are many PetSmarts that care about the best interest in EVERYONE but in Southwest Florida, that does NOT exist. Because the store manager nastily brushed the employees and pet parents off, evidence was brought to the attention of the district manager, regional manager, hr, associate relations, CEO, every associate support possible but ignored. Mental/ emotional abuse and retaliation by the store manager was enabled and allowed by the district manager. Included are pictures of the conditions. Windows are white because of how hot/humid it was, floors are soaked with condensation, ceilings leaking, staff and pups suffering from many health issues as a result of the terrible conditions.

one of the employees said, about my dog, "why did you bring her in here" and "I can smell her from here". that was just rude.

Poor customer service. I don't recommend going to this location, the cashier was very unprofessional

Kerri takes the time to talk to u about exactly what u want for ur pet & then actually does it! She…read morebrings the van to ur home, brings ur pet to it and then right back to u. No stressful car ride, no waiting & one-on-one service that's just priceless. The pricing is beyond fair--it's fantastic! In my case the difference in price between any of the groomers that I've tried b4 & Unfurgettable is very small & in 1 case it's actually less. When u factor in not having to drive an anxious pup to a place, drop him off & wait 2 pick him up when they call it's almost too good to be true-- But it is true and it's made a world of difference for my dog! (And my family) I've already covered why she deserves the 5 Star review above. I'm including the backstory bc I think it'll help u understand the level of service that Kerri is able to provide & why I'm so appreciative & grateful that I found her. I added a bit more info at the end so if u just want the overview facts skip to the Extra Info subheading. *** THE BACK STORY *** My dog weighs 14 pounds and is a squirmer, not a biter mind you, just a squirmer. The groomers at all 3 different pet grooming places we tried previously pointed that out when we questioned why they weren't able to adequately trim his nails. So at the last place we tried I explained all that & asked whether they could do it--using either a cutter or a drummel. The response was we'll do our best. Fair enough in terms of an honest response but their best was beyond inadequate. The failure to tell me about not doing anything with the overgrown dew claw was really an egregious mistake. It was very close to becoming ingrown--Look it up bc that would've been a really serious health issue. That was really the last straw bc I didn't know what a dew claw was until the night Morky got it stuck in a sock that we'd used to extend the life of yet another broken squeaky toy. He hadn't been enjoying a nap like I thought--he was actually trapped on the bed bc he couldn't get the the toy stuffed sock off his foot. Then it took me 15 minutes to unwind it from a claw that was so overgrown it formed a full circle & a half. I felt like a terrible parent. I shouldn't have stuffed a toy in a sock and I know that--but the reason ur not supposed to do that has absolutely nothing to do w/ overgrown nails. That's when I also got mad at the groomers (I was already mad at myself). Should I have I known what a dew claw was? Maybe. Should the groomers that I brought him to & very specifically talked to about his nails have known? Absolutely! Should the 1st or 2nd one have told me it was becoming a problem? Yes (we brought to the 1st place a few times so yes they should've noticed). And what about the last one have at least mentioned it considering that I had stressed the nail issue over the phone, when I brought him in person and asked about again when I picked him up? I can't answer that bc I don't know the rules about cursing in a Yelp review. That was the night I finally went online & looked to see if there was any type of groomer that could come to us. Quite frankly by that point I didn't much care what it cost. Just finding Unfurgettable was a huge relief from the get go. After meeting with Kerri, getting to know her & most importantly seeing what a difference her efforts to get to know Morky made to him--well I just don't have the words to describe those feelings right now. However I feel so strongly about the benefits of the services that Kerri provides that I'm not going to wait any longer for them to come to me b4 posting this review. Obviously she was able to fix the overgrown dew claw & continue to maintain his nails or I wouldn't be writing this glowing & long review. She's also able to trim his eyebrows & the hair under eyes which is important bc it grows in way that makes it difficult for him to see if it gets long. And like I said he's a squirmer so it's not an easy task but she gets it done every time. *** EXTRA INFO *** I've also posted pics that I believe u will find informative & useful. I also posted before & after pics of my dog. You can see the quality of the grooming itself from those and from the pics avl on both the Unfurgettable website and on their FaceBook page. I suggest also checking out the ones showing the inside of the van where all the grooming happens. If u do schedule a meeting with Kerri then she'll give you the grand tour of the van and explain all it's cool features. Each time Kerri comes she checks if we want the same at last time or want to make any changes. Each time she comes I end up with a clean, beautiful, healthy, happy dog in under an hour. That's the most important thing & again I'm at loss for words to describe the feelings I have when she brings him to me but I think I've provided enough detail :-) that you can imagine it.

She took the initiative to contact breeders and other groomers in her network to suggest grooming tips for our Samoyed and has her finger on the pulse of her industry. Our 13 year old Samoyed struts out of the UNFURGETTABLE RV like she's ready for the runway... Plus, the convenience of having a trustworthy person come to your house and eliminate the stress of traveling to the groomers for both you and your pet is priceless. We wouldn't consider anyone else for our Dog's groomer. TJT Naples
