At check-in you'll receive a pick-up number for your car window. Drive to the pick-up location and volunteers will bring your food to your vehicle. There's seldom a wait. Food items vary week-to-week due to donations from local supermarkets, and occasionally restaurants, other retailers, and additional sources. Food items consist of boxed and canned goods, fresh dairy products, bakery items, and produce. Hope will try to accommodate special dietary needs such as gluten-free requests. Personal care products for infants and adults are provided according to availability. The program is funded by a group of local churches. There's no fee to those needing assistance and donations are not solicited.

It took about 4 weeks from order to install, so plan ahead. Ours was completed by Christmas. My apologies to Cory for all of my worrying. The installation was flawless. For my own peace of mind, I did choose to have a licensed plumber, at my expense, (Arch plumbing) tap and run the gas line back to the fireplace for Jason to hook-up to. I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Walgreens Pharmacy. I called earlier in the day and…read morewas told my insulin would be ready for pickup. When I arrived in the evening, I was told it was not in stock and on back order. The pharmacist's response was unbelievable he shrugged it off saying, "my people don't know what's in stock." Excuse me? How is a pharmacy not aware of whether life-saving medication is available? It was 9pm, I had no options, and the pharmacist showed zero care or concern. His "solution" was to tell me I could try CVS or Walmart neither of which are open 24/7. Then he had the audacity to say, "well, emergency rooms are open." Are you paying my ER copay? This is not only unprofessional, it's dangerous. This is life-sustaining medication, not a bottle of Tylenol. The lack of accountability, compassion, and basic professionalism from the pharmacist was unacceptable. I genuinely don't know how this individual is trusted to run a pharmacy. Walgreens needs to take a hard look at their standards of care and how their staff are handling patients who rely on them for critical medication.

In the past I've asked for similar and there was no hesitation. I had a sleeping baby in the car so didn't want to have to get out of the vehicle. Complaint: Madi, pharmacy tech, said I would need to come inside for the Claritin because she was busy. There was 1 person behind me and 1 at the counter inside on a Sunday evening. This did not sit well as it sounds like she was too busy to help me and wanted to service other people - I felt rushed out the door. This is not the type of service I want to experience every month when I pick up my medications. You might get half of your medications but at a cost of poor customer service. Very disappointing.

Shrubs were also carefully trimmed up and my hellebore was cleaned up which required careful pruning with small hand sheers because they were already blooming. The mulch is finely ground and very dark and was laid down generously where needed and more thinly where last year's mulch was still pretty thick. Steve was working with a crew of about 8 men and they were serious about working efficiently and carefully. They did the same work at the same time for my neighbor across the street. Steve answered every question and was careful to tell me if he didn't know the answer. I would definitely hire again.
