I have been dealing with Electro Battery for over 40 years, and as far as I'm concerned, they are the only place to go for a battery! They are an outlet for a Manufacturer (Deka) of lead acid batteries. When you buy there you know what you're getting, a new factory battery, not one that's been sitting on a shelf at a discount tire store for 2 or 3 years! When a battery gets 6-months old, they recharge it. If it still doesn't sell, and gets to be one year old, they re-charge it again, mark it "BLEM" and then sell it for less than half price.
Those are the ones that I try to buy for my collector cars. I usually get 4 or 5 years out of one. Their service is excellent, they will put a battery in for you if you have the vehicle with you. Their selection is virtually unlimited in that they have batteries for fork lifts, motorcycles, boats, deep cycle, you name it!
You should bring a core with you, but it doesn't have to be the battery that you're replacing. read more
