Poor customer service Their battery tester is bad so I have to leave battery to test tomorrow. I just drove 28 miles to this store. Then he tells me the battery is out of stock and it will take a week to get one in. Who waits a week for a auto battery?? Asked for a comparable battery and he said he couldn't do that. I will never do business here again. read more

DO NOT GET A CELL PHONE BATTERY HERE! Their batteries are just as bad as the one you replace. Short life, poor performance, and take forever even with an appointment. read more

Amazing service. The guys there are polite and welcoming. I needed a new battery and they installed it in less than 30 minutes. Way better than a Dealership!!! read more

Called at 1:30p to ensure battery was in stock. Confirmed. 15 mins later - I'm there. They're packed solid with work. The District Manager, who I talked to in the phone, rolls up her sleeves to keep the team flowing and customers satisfied. Boom... that's how ya do it! read more

Mike was friendly and courteous. He thoughtfully helped me and got me in and out in just a few minutes.

Customer service was very good. Employees were very knowledgeable and courteous. Thanks for your service and patience. Mike read more

I scheduled a 9:00 apt and paid for a car battery and to get it installed. I show up at 9:00 and the guy tells me there's nobody that can do it until 11:15. I was nervous because if the low ratings, and I learned my lesson. I'm on my way to another place now, and will 100% never use this place again. It's honestly embarrassing how unreliable this store is. read more

Not working garage door opener and key fob pushed me to check this place out. Costumer service was excellent to me & other costumers at the store. Shocked there was 3 sales/service men there. The garage door opener was quickly fixed. The key fob battery replaced, but the signal was not working when checked in-store by device. Told it would cost $169 for new... key door then. I also got an old iPhone connection cleaned... wish I did this years ago instead of replacing. The kicker was they did this for free (like I read other yelpers state). In this world of batteries & devices- this "Radio Shack" specialty service is I need. read more

I was looking for a Watch battery and they had it. Both employees there were very friendly and helpful.

Very helpful and good selection!! I've only been to this location one time though. So nice that they have someone there to help you.

I needed a battery for a Google Pixel 6 phone as soon as possible. The current battery is obviously deteriorating and I'm afraid to charge it. The other battery Plus locations in the area said the St. Peter's Missouri location had one. I called the store 5 times over the period of 1 hour and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I left a voice message after the first call leaving my phone number and what i needed. Because of the urgency of this matter I decided to go ahead and make the 45 min. drive there thinking if all 3 other stores said the same thing they would likely be right about St. Peter's having the battery. WRONG!! Even if they had the battery there (they couldn't find it) there was no one there that could do the repair! I told them they really needed to answer their phone!! Their reply was that they had customers. For 3 hours neither one of them had time to check the messages!!?? There was one other man in the store that came in the same time I did. 2 employees were standing by the register counter doing nothing. They could have at least checked the darn voice messages and called me back !!! Don't waste your time with that place. read more

The customer service here is not good at all. I've been to this location twice for a mobile phone screen replacement. The first time I went was not a good experience, I pulled up the online price quote but they wouldn't honor it unless I scheduled an appointment online. I immediately pulled out my phone and scheduled the repair appointment while I was standing there, in front of the store representative. I then I asked the store rep if he needed the promotion code and he said no because he already knows the code. Their customer service was not upbeat or enthusiastic at all and they simply did not care. Thinking that my first experience was probably a fluke, I gave them another try. On my second visit for a mobile phone screen replacement, I provided a $15.00 off coupon only to find out that their high taxes and fees came out to the same rate as their $15.00 off coupon. With both of my experiences being negative, I've realized that this particular store location lacks a positive customer service environment. On both occasions I left feeling like my business was not appreciated from the manager on down to the store floor employees and on both occasions I was never greeted for my business nor was I thanked for my business. read more

Horrible customer service. When our car battery got completely drained, we needed a quick replacement. Called on a Saturday and were told they had to get from another location and we would receive a call Tuesday when it got there. You guessed it, no call. Husband called Wednesday. They said Thursday. No call. The only thing that was handled quickly was charging our credit card. A week has passed that we have been left with one car. 0 stars do not recommend. read more

I usually just drop off used rechargeable batteries for our work phones here because you are not suppose to just throw them away. They don't have the battery I need and I don't think they can get them. But I think they can get just about anything for other people. We use a Nortel 7440 portable phone at my work that has a special connector and they don't carry anything for it. Figures that the closest store to me wont have what I need. Story of my life. Anyway I like feeling like I am helping the earth by recycling our used batteries, just watch out they charge to recycle standard alkaline's. read more

Awful experience with the RUDE and LAZY employee there on May 17,2018. I walked out and bought my batteries from the other battery store on mid rivers. They were pleasant. I will NEVER return to the battery+bulb store. NEVER. read more

This review is for their Cell Phone Repair service. I had a great experience at Batteries Plus Bulbs. After looking around at options for cell phone repair shops, most of the independently owned stores in the area with good reviews were closed on Friday or did not open until late morning. So, I would up at Batteries Plus Bulbs. My iPhone screen needed to be replaced -- I dropped the phone shattering the screen. They quoted a price over the phone, said to allow 30 minutes to an hour for the repair. I dropped off the phone, everyone was friendly and they got it fixed in about a half hour. The repair quality seems very good (have been using it for 4 days now since they fixed it.) Their price was competitive to what other repair shops quoted me. This location seemed busy, lots of customers in and out buying light bulbs, batteries, etc. It looked like they had some great deals on dim-able LED light bulbs. I didn't have time to shop, but will go back and check out the store. read more

I came in needing a iphone 7 charging port repaired and the guys showed me that it just needed a good cleaning. They cleaned my phone to new free of charge and gave me a 10% card for next time. Great guys! read more

My husband and I stopped by the Batteries Plus to have the batteries changed in a jeep remote. The salesman replaced the batteries but the remote did not work. My husband returned to the store and asked the salesman for additional assistance. The salesman became defensive and said he changes remote batteries all of the time and stated he could put the old ones back in our remote. Of course we did not want the dead batteries we just needed assistance.. we eventually had the remote working (apparently you have to press the unlock button a certain amount of times per the manual) The salesman was an older gentleman who displayed poor customer service. I was disappointed in his demeanor (though he could have been having a bad day). read more

Had our both of our '13 Nissan's key fob batteries replaced on 12/31/16 for $9.99 each, we did not purchase the "warranty". One of the key fobs has never worked well after this replacement, you would have to "jack around" with it to get it to work, the other worked perfectly. Batteries Plus tried to convince my husband that "well it was last year" - it was flipping December 31st of 2016 ... so are they saying their batteries only last (not even) three months! They also said Nissan key fobs often go bad ... really????? Had Nissan replace it for $6.99 .... this one works. They seem to have pretty good customer service ... but maybe not for car key fobs. read more

Came by here on a Sunday afternoon with a shattered--and I mean totally f-ed up--iPhone 6. They were able to repair it super quickly and because we called ahead they gave us a discount. It was still a little pricy at $130 to replace the glass, but they did it in under 30 minutes and were very professional. read more

Best customer service! The guy that answered the phone was super friendly and funny! He was just as nice in person as well!!

This place is HORRIBLE! I took my iPhone there and not only could they not fix it, they put the screws back in the wrong holes causing "long screw damage" and now the phone won't even turn on. I've lost videos and pics of my son that I can't get back and all the manager would say is "we're not liable" over and over again. Don't trust them with anything important to you! read more

We bought a defective car battery at this location. Not a big deal - those things happen. The big deal is how we were treated while trying to exchange the 1yr old car battery. So far, it's been two trips up there and a lot of valuable time and effort. We've been turned away twice now because they say they need to "test" the battery for two hours. So we are supposed to sit there for two hours while they decide if the bad battery is "really" bad. Like I'd go through all of this effort to return a good battery. The customer service here is abysmal. I will never buy another thing from this place. read more

I went in to have a key fob programmed for my car. I didn't purchase it there, but they said they could program it for $39.99. Then I was told they had to submit my information to the manufacturer database and wait for an authorization code. After a week, no reply, had to go back in and talk to a store clerk. He said manager had to get authorization but was out of the store (always seemed to be out of the store, even when i called in a couple times.) Finally got connected to the store manager. He said had to get authorization from the owner (gotta love the higher authortiy play - felt like I was dealing with a government bureacracy, not a private enterprise). Manager said he would call me back by 4:00 that day, never did. I gave up. I'm going to go to a locksmith and have it done. Will cost me more, but it's worth it to not have to deal with this bs. This store sucks. I don't think they're going to stay in business too much longer. read more

I had my Iphone 6 screen replaced here on a Saturday afternoon. Within an hour I had a new screen and a protective case. Getting a new screen at Batteries Plus Bulbs is a million times easier than dealing with smartphone insurance. read more

NEVER!!! Take an iPhone to Batteries Plus to repair a cracked screen. It has been a living hell dealing with them. They are very unprofessional and the manager Seth Flamm is the worst. They fixed my screen but in doing so damaged the phones Touch ID. After trying to say it was Apple's fault for not enabling the phones to be repaired by anyone but Apple,(What?) they said they would just give my money back I paid for the screen. After a heated discussion with the manager Seth, they agreed to replace the phone. Not with a new phone, not a refurbished phone, but a used phone that they wouldn't put any warranty on. Not even for 3 months. They wouldn't even tell me where they were getting the phone. Then expected me to sign off on the phone saying it worked in a page long check sheet before I could have the phone to verify these things were working. The taller man behind the counter even threatened me if I was to leave with the phone to go one door down to the Sprint store so I could set it up to verify the check list because they "don't have wifi in the store". All this while they had the other phone in their possession and I asked for one of the 4 workers in the vacant store to come to Sprint with me. read more

Every time I try to buy here I leave without making a purchase. Today I tried to buy a battery for my remote key entry for my BMW. I was told that they do not replace batteries in BMW remotes because of the electronics and the need to reset settings. So, I made the drive from St. Peters to West County to go to the BMW dealer who told me, "It's just a 2032 battery that you can buy anywhere and replace it." I asked if it had to be reset I was told no, that it was just a battery in a remote, just like any other remote. Seriously! I thought Batteries Plus was supposed to be the battery specialists. This experience today has taught me not to go to Batteries Plus again. It's a waste of time. By the way - BMW CAR batteries have to be done at the dealer because of resetting electronics. Get your information straight. You lost not only this sale of a cheap battery, but all of my other business as well. read more
